They had a case that wasn't too big of a selection but had a pretty good variety. The staff was super nice and helpful and was able to let us know the prices of any of the cards we asked. They have their own prices and do go by TCG Player but the prices were still fair and only a little bit above what we saw online. I left with a couple of cards. The space itself is super welcoming and seems like such a cool spot for those into the hobby. They had a lot of "cool stuff" for sale (great name!) and there was a tournament going on when we were there, which was pretty cool. Overall, a nice spot for cool stuff!

When I asked for help, I got dry, one-word responses like I was bothering them they didn't even look up at me while talking to me At one point I sneezed and the staff managed to look at me but somehow nobody could say "bless you." Not a big deal, but it perfectly sums up the vibe -- cold and weird. They kept staring at me while I shopped, and when walking past me in the aisles, not a single "excuse me." Alot of the customers here are part of the Markham Park remote control airplane clubs. The thing that drew my main attention were the monster high end remote control trucks at the front of the shop. The employee, Hyme, assisted me with some common questions regarding the battery life and pricing which was $800 - $1200 based on many factors. They do offer smaller not as powerful versions of the trucks for under $500. The back of the shop had a super cool train set on display with horns honking and moving trains on the track. They're filled out wall to wall with comics, collectibles, figures & even have a RPG space set up. I've been to stores that heavily favor one category like super heroes, for example, while leaving all the other genres hanging. PPF however, has one of the best selection of varieties in my opinion. They're loaded with DC, Marvel, TMNT, horror, manga & also carry some niche ones. I also appreciate how they stay up to date on weekly & monthly releases with a section dedicated to them. Prices are solid & they often have a couple limited/exclusive variants. These are a bit overpriced but sometimes it's better to get them in person & support local rather than online & deal with shipping. Years ago, customer service was a bit iffy but recently it's been nothing but great. They greet you right away, have no issues answering questions & act like they appreciate your business. This is a great place to check out if you're a fan of pop culture, comics, figures or books in general. It's really hard to stop by & not leave with something in hand.
