Had the battery replaced on my iphone 13 mini. Then had my screen replaced. since then I've had so many problems with the phone shutting off, the phone gets hot. The battery percentage is wildly going up and down and the phone CANNOT recognize the battery. I know I have warranty on the screen. But Ive had my phone checked there a few times, but was claimed nothing was found to be an issue. Which I believe is a flat out lie. Now there's new people there, and wants to charge me for diagnostics on the phone even after telling them about the situation. They never asked my name nor do they even want to look up the info. I've lost all my interest in cell phone repair stores... especially this one. Don't let these people "school" you since they have to have your "phones, tablets, laptops" to another lab for diagnostics to charge you enough you'd wish you just get a new phone. so here's my beginning experienc- Nice people, believable legit... and now- I don't trust them, faulty replacements, always a new customer even though there's past visits. read more

Stopped in today (9/13/24) to inquire about a battery replacement for my iPhone 12 Mini. Sam was very kind and professional. Also contemplated selling it and upgrading to something else. I decided to do the battery replacement. Well, during the battery replacement (at NO FAULT OF SAM'S), something happened with my phone, but my Face ID stopped working. He tried to do a few troubleshoots but couldn't fix that (we think it was from damage previously, but who knows...I never had issues with it, and I am NOT FAULTING SAM!). So, I decided to trade it in for the quote he gave me and got a new (used) iPhone. Sam is beyond professional. He was warm, welcoming, and very engaging. He made me feel like I was an old friend. Smart Phone Repair is the one stop shop in charlotte for me! Sam and his team always use the best products, and provide OEM products. What other shop will go out of there way to get your phone fixed in an emergency. I cracked my screen and the team was able to have it fixed in under 30 mins start to finish. They fix it the right way and don't take shortcuts! My phone had a glitch from user error, and they replaced it without hesitation. Now that's customer service, 5 stars no doubt!! I dropped my phone, it not only shattered the screen but the LCD as well. One of my friends recommended Smart Phone Repair, as she had used them in the past and was very pleased. I gave them a call. At first I was just looking for a quote but Samuel was so helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating that's who I decided to go with and I am so glad I did!! I dropped my phone off Wednesday morning, he had the part overnighted and by Thursday afternoon my phone was like new again if not better!!! They took the time to figure out the issue with my iPhone, I couldn't hear people on speaker (which the previous 2 shops couldn't) repaired it in under an hour, and gave me a lifetime warranty to ensure that it was taken care of.
