He said "the driver, Mike" will call to arrange pick up. He called a few minutes later, I told him to knock/ring and I'll get him the bags. I brought two of the three bags out and popped back inside to grab a third. When I came back, the bags were gone. No knock/ring or "hey, can I take these?" Nothing, just gone. Then 2 minutes later I get a text from some other named laundry company, telling me I have to Venmo or Zelle him $48. WHAT???? He hadn't even had time to weigh the bags. I had spoken on the phone to TWO men. They said nothing of any of this. They were changing the terms of the agreement. I called Elio on the store phone line, or so I thought. He then told me he sold the company to Mike the driver, and deal with him. He said that he is just doing the laundry work for Mike, but it's Mike's company now. Then he told me he isn't in the store, or even in the state. I tell him I don't like deal being changed, and I don't have their payment methods, and to just bring the bags back. He told me I will have to PAY THEIR MINIMUM, $25 to get my clothing back!!!!! When I objected, he started mouthing off to me. I hung up and called the local Police, who sent a car over. They took care of it. The infractions were clear: - They took the bags without notice (not even all the bags I had) - They changed the agreement after the fact. - They tried to create an illegal bailment with my property. You can't make this stuff up!

There were four slip covers for the cushions and one large slip cover that ran across the entire couch. I had high expectations and told the owner about this. Going to the laundromat was very affordable compared to the laundromat services of today. Well, you can thank me later...I found this hidden gem located in Baldwin, NY. This laundromat takes me back to my childhood memories of my brother and sister going to the laundromat with our mother to wash clothes. The set up is very dated, but for what you're paying, that's hardly ever something that bothers you. I live several miles away, but don't mind trekking all this way to wash my clothes. You just can't beat it. There's a laundromat across the street from this one. It's bigger, better looking, but way more expensive. I haven't even thought about stepping foot into it, because I don't need to. The name of it is really "WASH N DRY". It's weird though, because I want able to find the business when I was searching on Google. Since finding this one in a million laundromat, I don't need to go anywhere else. The most you'll pay for the large load is $3.50, $2.50 for the medium sized load and...get this $1.25 for the smallest load!! If you ever get the chance to stop by here, you won't be disappointed....unless it's packed. The washers can go very quickly, so you may have to wait a bit depending on the time of day that you go. The early and late afternoon times are usually the busiest. The wait is usually not that long. I'm so happy I found a piece of history tucked away in this world that is forever changing. I may sound like a commercial advertisment when I say this, but it's true...if you're looking to wash on a budget, you can't and won't go wrong with this Wash N Dry.

Then tried to give it back to me the day I pick it up and act as if nothing was different and like he did me a favor! It was a totally different dress!! I couldn't make this up if I tried. Recently I dropped off 2 bags worth of clothes to be washed, after receiving them i noticed that the bags were lighter then usual. After noticing that some of my clothes were missing, I called and spoke a women letting her know that my clothes weren't in the bag, she notified me and told me that my clothes were mixed into another persons bag and that there was no way of getting them back. I asked if there ways some way to be compensated for this issue, she told me to bring a receipt for the clothes to work out an amount. I gave here a receipt, and she argued with me on the price, i explained that is what i lost. After seeing this she said that she cant honor the full amount of the receipt saying that they are "used clothes" and not "new ones". We agreed on a price, and i figured that it was settled. The amount i was credited was to be applied to the next round of clothes i would bring in. I dropped off my bags last night and picked them up this morning, when i said that ill used the credit to pay for this round of laundry, she told me that she was no longer going to honor the price and that i would have to pay for this load. I paid, took my bags of clothes and left. Sad to say that i will not be returning to this place, and will no longer be giving them my business. You figured after a year and a half of using their services, there would be better customer service...
