There were four slip covers for the cushions and one large slip cover that ran across the entire couch. I had high expectations and told the owner about this. We kidding each other a little bit about what the outcome would be and he said - I can't promise you anything - but he would do his best. However I found out later that he did do his best. He soaked all the slip covers overnight which could've caused damage to his machines. When I put them back on my couch I was happy that I brought my slip covers to Railroad Drive In cleaners.

I had spoken on the phone to TWO men. They said nothing of any of this. They were changing the terms of the agreement. I called Elio on the store phone line, or so I thought. He then told me he sold the company to Mike the driver, and deal with him. He said that he is just doing the laundry work for Mike, but it's Mike's company now. Then he told me he isn't in the store, or even in the state. I tell him I don't like deal being changed, and I don't have their payment methods, and to just bring the bags back. He told me I will have to PAY THEIR MINIMUM, $25 to get my clothing back!!!!! When I objected, he started mouthing off to me. I hung up and called the local Police, who sent a car over. They took care of it. The infractions were clear: - They took the bags without notice (not even all the bags I had) - They changed the agreement after the fact. - They tried to create an illegal bailment with my property. The tailoring job was amazing. You could not tell it was altered and it fit me better than if I had purchased the blazer in my size. There is always something I would like to fix when I buy off the rack... Since then I have brought a ton of my toddler's clothes for alterations. As a first time mom, I've prepurchased cute outfits for my child to "grow into", and after a year and a half I realized that growing into the perfect fit NEVER happens. Sizes are all different, or we miss the season and it doesn't fit anymore. The biggest issue we have is that the waist fits but the pant legs are way too long. He says he can't afford it. I gave him the name of two local sign companies and they are reasonable. I bring in my second batch of shirts ( 6) and 4 items that would be dry cleaned. I go home and my wife looks at my receipt and it says 4 shirts plus = $38.00 I told my wife I will speak to him when I pick the stuff up. The place is run down and he says he is struggling. I come in to pick up the order and first he tells me the shirts are $2.50 and each dry cleaned item was 5.00 plus. He claimed that a black cloth shirt had to be dry cleaned when I have been washing it for a couple of months and ironed. One of my wife's sweaters he charged us $7.95 ... The long and short of this is he is grossly dishonest. I told him I was really unhappy. He told me go f..k myself and took off $8.00 but charged me a fee for using my credit card. It was a dollar something or 3.25% and I think it was his elderly mother who chimes in ohhh the credit card company makes us do that. I politely told her they do not and now I have 2-3 people screaming at me because 6 shirts at $1.50= 9.00 plus 4 items for dry cleaning charged me $30.00 ... this place should be closed by the department of consumer affairs. He offered to pay for the blazer and said to bring the receipt in, something that was purchased over a year ago, a receipt that I no longer had. I left the blazer, it not useable, it's ruined by "the professional cleaners". I will not use this establishment again and definitely my family and friends won't either. We will spread the word!
