My only complaint is when we got to the ferry at 10AM as the schedule said we were told it was a holiday and they were running on a holiday schedule so we had to wait an hour. We picked up the schedule at customer service and checked for return ride under the holiday/weekend schedule and it said 2pm. When we arrived a sign said 3pm. Really?? Get it together! So the whole outing took a lot longer than expected. Check the schedule carefully if you go -- but go -- it is a lovely ride.

I bought 2 clipper cards at the the Windsor Smart Train station for my wife and I last year and took the train from Windsor to the Larkfield ferry. Unfortunately you can't buy a senior card at the train kiosk so you have have to pay the full price with no discount. To get a senior card you have to buy it online and wait a few weeks to receive it in the mail. A few months ago, I had about $10 remaining on each card and my wife and I decided to take the Larkfield ferry to S. F. the next day. I went online to check my balance and there was no cash available. So I called the number and I was told " we are experiencing long hold times and there are 38 folks ahead of me". And they mentioned to go online to use self service. I went online and there was no self service options. The online site is useless. Finally I spoke to the rep and was informed that since I didn't use the card for 6 months there was no cash value on the card, but she would add the previous balance back onto the card, and this would take a few days. So, I added $20 to each card online using my Visa card. Unbeknownst to me it takes over a week to add this cash value to the Clipper Card, even though they they charged my Visa immediately. When I got to the Smart Train station there was no cash value on the card so I had to add $20 more to the cards. This really upset me. I had to call the Clipper Card office 5 more times and wait between 14 and 41 calls ahead of me to finally get a promise that they will send me a check. I have been waiting for 2 weeks to get the check and called again only to find out it takes about 1 month to get the check. I'm still waiting. It seems very clear to me that Clipper Card grabs your money immediately and will try anyway it can to keep it. If you want to avoid some of the money pitfalls and phone calls of using a Clipper Card: 1. Purchase your card online 1 month before you intend to use it. 2. Add value to your card at the train or ferry kiosk only for the amount you intend to use that day. 3. Use the cash value quickly.

5 star idea for shuttles to Muir Woods but horrible execution…read more We purchased tickets online for the shuttle and tickets Muir Woods. We left from the suggested Pocono Parking Stop. On the website, it doesn't say why this is preferred. It would be helpful if it mentioned 'if you are arriving by...' because I think this location may be preferred because it has a huge parking lot for people driving in. However we were coming by uber. Also if you are planning on coming by bus, the route is limited but you can make it. The tickets fur the shuttle are incredibly affordable! Again great idea! They are also timed. In fact we had to get a later time because an earlier time was sold out. However the time slot just gives you a place in line. It doesn't guarantee you'll leave during that time. We also had to make the drive to Muir Woods with my daughter sitting in my husband's lap. We had a fabulous driver and the drive was safe and uneventful. You are dropped off as close to the front door as possible. If you've bought tickets to the park, you show your ticket to the park ranger and walk right in. It's an amazing park and we all had a great time. Shuttles leave every 20 minutes. When we left we lined up and after about 10 minutes, a shuttle pulled up, the riders got off as did the bus driver. He didn't say anything to us. He was gone for 20-30 minutes. Long enough for another bus to arrive and pick up passengers. These two shuttles left together! Also this bereft driver, hon his return, was surly. He did get us back to the parking lot and we were in our way back to the city. I'm in a pickle about an alternative solution. If you take an uber, you can't find one back because there's no service. There are taxis waiting but I heard they are expensive. I can't recommend this service though, although I do recommend going to the park. It's a dilemma.

They've been making my airport pickups more and more difficult the last couple of times I have used them. When you ask they say things like: "SFO is making some changes" and "Due to construction..." VERY evasive and VERY sketch answers. They had two opportunities to be straight with me and they chose not to so I called SFO to get my answers. I just spoke to someone who manages these contracts. He told me they were officially terminated on 10/10/18! They have issues with the CPUC and also the FTB. Nice try...next time don't be so evasive.

I called the company on 1/7/19 at approximately 4:30 pm and spoke to someone who had no intention of helping me after I explained the situation. He told me to call back the next day after 8 am. This is not my responsibility and I should not be required to pay more. This rider payment increase liability is NOT POSTED anywhere on the website and the only notification they send mentioning the price increase is AFTER you have already booked the service. The person on the phone continue to claim the email confirmation was correct and that "the best" she could do was put a note on he managers desk asking her to "take a look". I've read the other reviews here and I'm not holding my breath for a resolution. I travel often and will be using one of the many other transportation services available in the future. The train ride is less than 10 minutes with no cover so we brought our hats. It's a quick ride and you pass by the parking lot and a park. My girls enjoyed it. After we played by the nearby park. There is a bathroom close to the train ticket booth and lots of tables to enjoy a snack or even lunch. They were just starting the grill to cook the food for lunch but our girls were hungry so we left to get food elsewhere.
