I even drove by several places, in hopes they were just too busy to answer the phones and finally gave up and decided to give Great Clips another shot. I hadn't reserved online and there was only one stylist working, so I had about a 20 minute wait. Not bad at all, especially with two people ahead of me. I wish I could remember the name of the stylist, but she had a lovely accent, if that narrows it down all. She did a GREAT job on my hair. It's very thick, so I'm sure it took longer than usual, but she didn't rush. She worked quickly, but not at the expense of quality. She thinned everything, took a few inches off the length and cut my bangs exactly as I'd requested. The sides are chin length and I've had issues with unevenness a few times, but not this time. Everything looks sleek, even after straightening. I know I've gotten a solid haircut when I'm able to wake up in the morning without my hair looking like I just rolled out of bed. I've paid a lot more for less skilled hands many times and I will absolutely be returning when it's time for the next trim!
