I found this place just from driving by and decided I would try it for color after not having any color in my hair for 2+ years. I wanted to go Burgundy red for winter (think red wine color) and am naturally a dark brunette. I emailed photos of what I wanted prior to coming for the appointment and was nervous because we were going away on a trip shortly after. The stylist who did my hair was really kind, I just don't think she knew what she was doing. My hair came out orange instead of dark red. I left because I was kinda in shock and she was really excited about it and didn't know how to tell her. When I got home my husband asked me what I did to my hair so that's when I realized I had to do something and change it. I emailed immediately and even called the next day after not hearing back via email and finally I just walked in two days later (and it seemed like they were avoiding me because they couldn't get ahold of the owners to figure out what to do). Eventually they scheduled me to come back the following day and tried to fix it but it was still super brassy. I spent over $240 (they didn't charge the second time) but still was really disappointed. Unfortunately I will not return here. Fortunately I found another awesome salon across town which is way cheaper and they seem to know how to use color. My hair has since been fixed (a couple hundred bucks later and a new stylist later). read more

My hair after leaving that salon was the definition of brassy! I even sent a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like, using my own picture of my own hair from when someone else had done it. This other stylist also had to put in highlights over dark color and did a good job. I did not find my stylist to be very receptive at urban euphoria when I told her it was much warmer than what I wanted, she basically said that was the best that she could do, and, that before the toner it looked much worse. As if that is supposed to make somebody feel better. I don't believe she let it process near long enough. She said that it was a good first step, as if I'm going to let her touch my hair again. What's really disheartening is I have never paid more for a cut and color, and I have never been less satisfied. I have since toned my hair down some at home because I was not going to go out in public the way that it looked before, I'm just sad that I have had to spend yet more money trying to fix this mistake. I even tried to share what had helped other stylist do my hair in the past but again my stylist was not receptive to this. I think she wanted to get out of work on time. I tried to maintain composure and be polite during the appointment because I can understand the amount of time put in, but when I got home and saw how bad my hair was my heart sank. Please be fully aware of this place, all of the items on the salon menu are mainly a la carte but they put things together without your knowledge. I feel before you decide to do more then what the customer ask for you need to let them know the price and give them the obligation to deny the service. My Girlfriend went in the first time for a full foil and haircut it was 160.00..the follow up she had a half foil and her bangs trimmed and was charged 150.00. After emailing the management they told me the services are allocated but actually combined..this is false advertisement. AVOID....They overcharge!! If there was a zero rating I would give it. My 14 year old daughter was excited to go here because a friend of hers recommended. Instead they took advantage of the teenage girl and overcharged her $135 for a partial highlight. When I tried to call several times to complain for the overcharge each time, they had a different answer for why the charges were so much. I've been trying to reschedule a redo and they just tell me they need to check their schedule abs they will call me back and never do. They charge $24 for each bowl of bleach, $20 for toner, etc. There have no intention of calling me back to redo my daughters hair, the never have time to schedule it. read more

This rating is specifically for the massage I recently had with Emily. I had been experiencing serious neck and upper back pain for two weeks. I was taking ibuprofen every four hours just to get through the day. Yesterday I had a 90 minute session with Emily and can't believe how much better I feel today! I had my first massage with Cheri and it was just wonderful! I had a recent knee injury and she was very mindful of that area and even made sure my brace was by the table when we were finished! You won't believe this place is in a basement. I had a great experience, Ashley is fantastic and gave me an amazing cut. I told her I have a tender scalp and she was very gentle on my tangles. They have the new hair washing sinks that don't hurt your neck, which is AWESOME. It's a great space with a large, peaceful spa, and prices are reasonable. Got a gift card there from my husband a while back so decided to get a hair cut at the last minute. Daniel was my stylist and she did such a great job! Because was new to the facility, they showed me around the salon and have me a welcome package which included pricing, mint, specials and a serum sample. I was really impressed. The atmosphere was very inviting. Certainly the staff there were courteous and went out of the way to ensure that I was comfortable. My experience was an A+ eating. You won't believe this place is in a basement, because this salon is HUGE and has everything you'd ever want and need to look and feel beautiful! A group of 8 of us were getting ready for a wedding, last weekend, and had a fantastic time! We brought Panera bagels and coffee, makeup and hair supplies, and some jams to listen to while getting ready. We had so much fine while getting ready and Urban Euphoria really set the tone for us having such a great day. Our hair stylists were amazing, upbeat, and so easy to talk to. Everyone was also very laid back and brought us waters intermittently, picked up our trash for us, and constantly checked in on us to see if we (specifically, the bride) needed anything. So had an appointment for a 1 hour massage here earlier today with Cheri Miller, it was excellent! My back and shoulders haven't felt this great in awhile! Cheri did great with the deep tissue massage and made sure that I was doing alright through the whole session. I highly recommend asking for her, not that any of the other therapist aren't great, Cheri just happened to be my therapist! As for the room itself, it was very relaxing and there was no problem being comfortable. The whole salon itself looked very nice all of the staff that helped me was very polite and professional, you can't go wrong with this place! I felt that the prices are very reasonable considering the excellent massage I received. I will definitely go back here for my next massage, Cheri really made any of the dullness or slight discomfort in my back vanish! I will be going to Ulta and buying my own makeup at this point, which is what they suggested I do with my lipstick anyways, if I wanted more variety of shades. Horrible experience here with micro blading. I spent $550 for starters which was fine, but when the fill in ( you can chose to do or not)was done I spent another $175. I was told the yearly touch up was $150, no it ended up being $250. Money isn't even the biggest issue. My brows then turned blue/Grey color. I called Blythe said she would redo them to just call and set an appointment. I had to have eye surgery so I waited 6 weeks or so to set the appointment and was told it was over 30 days and it would not be free now. So I ventured on to a plastic surgery center where they have now tried twice to remove this ink and it's not coming out. They can not just go over it. I even called here to ask what color was originally put in and they said she doesn't know, she just kind of wings it. REALLY... Going through hell to get it fixed. It was my wedding day and when I called there to tell them that I needed a shampoo and a hairstyle they quoted me $30-$35 so when I got there to get my hair done on the same day of my wedding ! I say down in the chair and she quoted me again $30-$35 then she asked me what I was getting my hair done for and I told her my wedding ! Which is really none of her business ! she said hold on I'll be right back! When she came back she looked at me and said well I talk to my manager and since it's being done for your wedding it's gonna be 65.00 now! Who does that especially on somebody's wedding day! I absolutely LOVE this salon! The exterior can be deceiving because the actual salon is in the basement of a chiropractor-style office. The salon itself has a rustic industrial theme with a lot of wood and metal accents. I see Jess but every single stylist is super friendly and always nice when I'm there. The stylists all seem to take great care of their clients and want to ensure their client is happy before leaving. I had my first ever visit tonight at Urban Euphoria. Brittany cut and styled my hair, and it was such a great experience! I love my hair! I have been trying to grow my pixie cut out for quite sometime, and have finally gotten it to a decent bob. I have been really close to cutting it all back off again, because I just was having such a hard time styling it. Today, I purchased a gift card for my pregnant wife. UE was recommended to me from other family members. However, their experiences stem from the salon side of the business and I was there to purchase 2 prenatal spa treatments. I looked at the website online before heading in and new exactly what I wanted. I left disappointed due to the bait and switch and highly concerned that licensed massage therapists are not actually providing spa treatments. Another reviewer had this concern as well. I probably need a refund based on the following: 1. There must have been a special for longer spa treatments similar to what I wanted and was being pushed to pay $100.00. I was there to spend $85. 2. When I asked why I couldn't get the online prices, I didn't receive much response. 3. When another individual opened a copy of the spa menu sitting at the front desk - sure enough it said $40 and $45 respectively. 4. Then I was told to pay $90. I asked - "One says $40, what am I missing?" The response had something to do with levels of treatment and the menu was only the starting price. 5. My assumption: massages aren't regularly provided by somebody licensed and they have an unwritten way to upsell you when you only want what is advertised. read more
