This place has very tasty cheeseburgers made to order. I I drove from Gunnison Montrose enjoyed the drive looking for a place to eat and this place popped out of nowhere man that's one of the best burgers I ever had and I'm from Abilene Texas that Burger rocked. We usually have Smashburger delivered, but I decided to come here and eat since the free french fries for french fry day were only available with pick up or dine in. I ordered the double Colorado Smashburger and got a regular smash fry for free. I also got some ice tea. The food came out quickly and was tasty and delicious, although messy, as usual. The fries were good, but I had forgot to ask for smash sauce, so had to go back to the counter to get some. The staff seemed very busy, but professional and helpful. Disappointing. Super over priced. Oily/greasy. Fries weren't even filled (pictured) and the ones we got were soaked in grease. Gross! I have to say the entire experience from the time I placed my drive thru order took nearly 20 minutes to the time they handed me food. The choices on the menu sounded great! You might think they were crafting something delicious with the wait and the prices, but don't be fooled that is not the case. Maybe it was a bad night. The guy at the window was friendly and upbeat. I don't know what happened, but I watched the manager himself pack my food into the bag. He did my sauces on the side, then he double checked the bag and stapled it shut! My mistake for not inspecting the bag before leaving the area, or maybe I am to blame for spending over $20 for 2 single patty burgers and a large fry and getting the sloppy wet mess we got then NOT driving back there to complain. 3 stars because the food is always good and cashiers are nice. I'm here waiting on my mobile order at 8 and I'm guess thing female "manager" is out in her car. When I came in someone was wanting a refund because they ate their whole meal without their fries ( didn't really catch the whole story) the cashier goes out to her car to get her to do the refund. She comes in and issues the refund. Yells at the kitchen. Then promptly goes back outside saying "figure it out ". Now she did come back in about 10 minutes later and as I'm still waiting and went to the kitchen immediately to help. Getting an order wrong at a drive thru is not that unusual. What is unusual, is to have the manager argue with you on the phone, casting blame my way because they gave me an Uber Eats order. Ten minutes of blame casting, I kid you not. That is pretty unusual. Demoralizing even. Check your receipt (which we did), then look at everything in the bag. If you expect even moderately competent service and a tiny bit of cheerful customer service, eat elsewhere. BTW if you want a refund-go back and wait in the drive thru line again. Later Smashburger, I can drive right on past so very easily. Get a new manager too, before that promotion costs you more customers. read more

I went to the drive-through and ordered one smash buyer large fries milkshake drink and two hamburger patties for my two dogs. You can see the total on the screen one of the patties cost $2.50 the other one was $8.00 I drove to the window and said. I see that you charged me $2.50 for one patty and $8.00 for the other one. She said we can only sell one patty. I said can I please see the manager that is when the manager came out. I said I ordered two extra patties. One was showing $2.50 on the screen where you place your order the other was $8.00. She said we can only sell you one patty. I said but I have two dogs. I said can you please override and give them each to me for $2.50 she said no. I said can I please have your business card. She laughed and said they do not give us business cards. I placed my order over the phone to-go, the guy that answered the phone and took my order was super friendly, and customer service was great!
