    Chapel Hills Mall Food Court
    Danelle A.

When it comes to eating at the mall food court, I usually pass. However, after a long day of Christmas shopping, my husband was famished. He chose this wing place and even though I was reluctant...we gave it a shot. We each ordered 6 wings with veggies, fries and a drink. I was also expecting to get ripped off with a small portion but we got big meaty and crispy wings that were perfectly coated with the buffalo mild sauce. I couldn't even finish half of my meal, which was quite hard to stop because all of it was amazing. The bleu cheese was perfect for my hubby, I would have liked it to be a bit chunkier but that's just my preference so I can't really knock a star for it. Crazy as it sounds but this may be my favorite wing place in the Springs area. I look forward to trying it out again to make sure it earns that title.

Fried Okra, Fried Mushrooms, cattleman's s gold bone in wings

Fantastic food! Quick service, came in at 520 on Friday and my food was hot and ready by 530. We got fried mushrooms, fried okra and cattleman's gold bone in wings. The wings were generously sized. I added pics of the menu since I couldn't find pricing on their website.

This container was 20$ with a 2$ tip...

We made the reservation specifically to celebrate a special occasion, yet neither the hostess nor our waiter (Brayden) even acknowledged it. When we mentioned it ourselves, the only gesture was one measly glass of cheap champagne for a table of four. The dress code was a joke. OpenTable lists it as Business Casual, but we saw the hostess in sweatpants and Chuck Taylors, a server in what looked like physical training gear and Crocs, plus plenty of T-shirts, shorts, and open-toed shoes. Perhaps they should take their meals outside. Only the north section was seated during our visit, directly in the blinding sunset from 6-7pm. The only logical reason to keep it open seems to be avoiding cleaning it at close. Both surf & turf steaks arrived undercooked, and everything was wildly overpriced. Finally, Brayden--we could already tell your preference; the rainbow coordinating pens weren't necessary. Will never return. Damn food made all us gassy as hell.

We had a window seat looking right to the mountains. Great view! They have shades that come down as the sun starts to set. Is the decor "upscale", no. It's very nice but it's a hotel restaurant that serves breakfast too. So it can't be the decor of high end restaurants around town, but it is still nice. The killer views easily make up for that. They also have west facing outdoor seating..that will be nice in the summer! I just don't eat as much as I used to so my wife and I decided to split the Caesar salad and split the chicken pot pie. I assumed they would bring the one salad and two plates for us to do the splitting.....but no! They brought out the salads already split and ready to go. They did the same for the pot pie with each serving topped with a biscuit for the pot pie part. It was also nice that they didn't add a split plate fe The salads were good we both thought the pot pie was good and of course the half price wine was nice. The wine list is not extensive but some decent choices gruner (white) wine. I can't complain about the service, our service was friendly and attentive. I'm just a tough critic and while some folks gave 5 stars I'm at 4.

I ordered the pretzel appetizer and the mac and cheese. I wasn't very hungry when we went so I don't think my review can truly do it justice, but they both were so good. Pretzels are a big deal for me and it was absolutely delicious. The cheese sauce was awesome too. I only was able to take a couple bites of the mac and cheese but the presentation was awesome and it tasted great! Our server was awesome. My only thought was that there were a few moments where I had to wait a while for them to come back to our table. It could've been busy, system issues, or anything so I'm not saying this to complain but simply inform that you could wait a bit for help if you go during busy times. The place had a great vibe and we had a lot of fun just hanging out at our table. TVs playing NBA basketball and good music. I recommend!

Using comments to improve your business does nothing for the people who spend money to not get what they paid for and leaves little confidence that you will even do such a thing considering you don't even take the steps to make it right. Writing comments back to everyone is easy for appearance but without follow through it's just a marketing tactic.

Golden Flame Hot Wings is awesome! So many great things to say about this place…read more First, I asked Claude Pro for the top five chicken wing restaurants in the greater Colorado Springs area, and this one ranked first. They have about 20 different sauces, and you can sample all of them before you order. I went with the lunch special: eight wings, fries, and a drink. I chose the garlic fries, and the basket was huge. For the wings, I picked a mid range, traditional buffalo sauce with bone in wings, and it was really tasty. Next time I might try one of the dry rubs. Our daughter ordered the fried cauliflower and loved it. My wife had the chicken salad with grilled chicken, which was also excellent. Great beer selection and excellent service too. Rick waited on us and was fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful. If you're looking for top shelf chicken wings in the Colorado Springs area, Golden Flame Hot Wings is the place to go! We visited the Centennial location, just a short drive from Garden of the Gods.

We also ordered the Shanghai Sizzle. Rick also has a homemade ketchup that we enjoyed with our fries. We purchased more sauces from Rick like we did when we visited the Powers location. He gave us some of the Spicy Lemon Pepper which we recently tried at home. Wow! What a blast that was. We will return and see Rick next time we are in the mood for an ice cold beer and awesome wings!

The view house welcomed us with open arms. As I stated initially in this review, the food and the ambience are amazing, but what really made the experience testimonial worthy was, Vincent, our waiter/server. Dude rolled in with a small notepad, a smile, calm demeanor, and took every order, every drink, every appetizer, and even dealt with all these freaking knucklehead kids. I woke up and said the exact thing to My Wife yesterday. So, Vincent, hats off to you and everybody there. To the people behind-the-scenes making the food, THANK YOU! PS. Not a mistake was made. We had 12:30pm reservations, one would think that they would be quite busy at that time, at least busy enough for the food to turn over. Apparently not, as you can probably tell by the photos. I don't care that they weren't busy, someone should be there checking the quality of the food and changing it out as needed. The service was less than stellar as well. I'm glad I was able to try it to see what it was all about, but I'm pretty sure I won't be going back. *Although it doesn't look too bad in the photos, the pizza never moved, it was the same dried out product that was there from the time I arrived until the time I left. The lobster tail was tough and had some sort of funky spice or something that just tasted really weird. I took a picture of the Caesar salad, which sat almost empty until I was about ready to leave, unfortunately it came out really blurry so I deleted the photo off my phone. The million dollar bacon was hard and cold, they should probably change the name to "50 cent bacon." Most of the temperatures of the food were questionable, lukewarm at best. I never once saw anyone checking temps.
