BBQ Bacon Burger with Smash Tots

Food was good but service was meh. The lady that took our order felt so rude and uninviting. Didn't care to greet us, didn't care to ask if we need help. Felt very rushed when we were ordering. Plenty of seating inside and they bring the food to you, but idk, they lady at the cash register put me off. Plus the burger came out piping out with the cheese which nearly burned my mouth. The smash tots were overly salted and so was our burger. Avoid this smash burger as it didn't meet my expectations for a burger joint.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I had never had Smashburger before. The burgers were very solid, and their specialty fries were quite good. They have ample seating inside, it's clean, and the food is solid. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite if you're in the area.

Despite the usual 3-star ratings on Yelp, this is actually my favorite Smashburger location out of the three considering one in Times Square and other one closer to Herald Square. This is closer to Flushing, Main Street by like a few stops away. Would say that the staff here are nicer than the other locations. Ordered my usual single-pattie Smashburger w/ tomatoes, red onion, lettuce and pickles. Also ordered regular fries. Asked for a cup to drink seltzer water. Ambiance: Your regular fast-food places, nothing too special. Definitely nothing less, nothing more. Restroom stalls are pretty clean for the most part. Ask the staff for the bathroom code. Condiments of ketchup and mustard bottles are lined up neatly next to the soda machine. Now, you've to ask the staff for napkins, seasoning packets, and utensils instead because homeless people kept taking them when they were left in the open before. There're quite a few wall outlets located underneath the seats to charge your phone. Now moving on to the burger itself, it was very meaty and cheesy with all the ingredients super fresh. Words couldn't even describe how satisfied my stomach had felt from taking huge bite after huge bite into the cheeseburger. Sinking my teeth into those crispy fries made me feel so delightful. This is definitely how I would describe the true meaning of a real cheeseburger!!!!

I tried their burger twice. Very yummy and fresh. The service was good too just wonder why the who restaurant is so empty during rush hours!

Freshly grilled burgers with tasty fries and tater tots. The sweet potato fries were thin and crispy. We loved the Mandarin Cardamom refresher beverage. Good option when you are craving a freshly made burger with quality meat and toppings. The restaurant was clean and service was friendly.

Today headed over to Smashburger before noon to avoid the lunch crowd. There were 3 people in front. Did not feel like a grand opening. Had found out about grand opening passing by in the past heading towards Chick Fil-A and through friends. One staff member opens door and came out to ask how many people. Most would say one. Line started to form behind me. Once you got in you were directed to stand in one of two lines . There were three staff members at the cash registers. The line I was in was slow. Do not know if they were going through training. Mentioned this to the staff letting people in. He just looked at me. What no interaction with the customers? So I get to the counter. Now this is the first time I ever been to a Smashburger and never tried their burger as well as their other products. Read about grand opening and they offering classic burger with fries for $5 bucks. I inquired if they still had this promotion. The staff at register said yes. So I placed an order for 4 of them. She goes you want 4 like in shock. I said yes and all for take out. Did I order too much? Now mind you I have no clue what was in this burger. Other staff came over and asked you want this in burger and gave a description of what items were on the burger (tomatoes, onions, pickles, lettuce, cheese, etc). I asked if that is what it is in the burger. She said yes. Then I said that's what I want. It would have been nice if they communicated what they had and other items. After placing order, went to Smash Pick up area (look up and follow the sign) to wait for the food. Which is right next to where you place order. Notice like 14 people in the kitchen. Sure lots of people confined in area. Probably going through training since opening day. By the time I got out of the store, the line was extended towards Chick Fil-A. Staff giving out sample of what looked like an Oreo shake. I totally understand it must be overwhelming at opening day. But some customer interaction or acknowledgement would be nice. Felt like cattle being steered on to an assembly line. To everyone- Please be careful with eating your burgers. There was a plastic casing in one of the burgers. The Classic Single Smash (had to look at receipt to see the name) burger was unique in it's own way but it did not knock my socks off. Maybe it will be different for you.

Grilled chicken sandwich with French fries (salty asf) but the sandwich was mmmhmmm good

Came here for lunch with my mom to eat in. Service is good, place looks and is kept clean by staff on sight. 1 star dropped because once we placed the order and got our receipt, got our drinks (self serve for drinks) and found a table, I looked at the receipt and they made my order a meal. I didn't ask for French fries along with my order (grilled chicken sandwich & a drink). I didn't even bother asking them for a refund because when I checked the prices, there was literally only a few cents difference (which is stupid). It's not even a meal price if they charge you the same as an individual item. DO CHECK YOUR RECEIPT PRIOR TO LEAVING** me and my mom decided to eat in, and our orders took longer than those who ordered right after us. Once we received the food, it was good. No cap. Hella good, my mom is happy, I'm happy (other than having to wait more than 15 min for our meals) The fries were very salty, so I wouldn't get that again. As quoted from my mom, the price of the food is only worth it if you decide to eat in.

Avocado Bacon Club - missing avocado

Decided to order pickup for this place after craving a burger and remembering it opened recently. I had ordered the Avocado Bacon Club. Upon going for pickup, the line was already to the door on a Sunday night. One person working the cashier. I waited spotted my pickup order as I was waiting on the pickup side which is gated off with stanchion post and there was no one to help. A man in the distance was slowly packaging order a few feet away. The staff seemed a bit inattentive and too relaxed despite the amount of customers. Avocado Bacon Club 2/5 - One of the key pieces in its name was missing, no avocado found. Patty was over-seasoned, on the salty side, and partially burnt. The only small nice thing was the uniqueness of the multi-grain bun. Not worth its price. There's many burger options around the area and this spot was quite disappointing especially for its price tag. I'd likely wouldn't visit again and probably opt for another spot in the neighborhood unfortunately.

I often visit Smash Burger restaurant whenever I feel the craving for hamburgers and brisket. I highly recommend both their hamburgers and brisket. It's very clean and service oriented with excellent value.

Ate here today alone for lunch on a sunny day on Saturday! I ordered and got the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Single burger with the meal! It tasted great and quite delicious! I waited only 10 minutes for my meal to be and get served! The service there was also went pretty good and attentive of what to get and order that they didn't bother to rush me of what to order and get for the first time. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time if I'm in the mood for a burger! ;)

They definitely piled the veggies on, which I appreciated. However, the beef patty was not great texturally. There seemed to be an issue with consistency, three of us ordered the same burger cooked medium rare but our burgers were cooked with different levels of doneness. One was perfectly medium rare, one was very rare, and mine was in between with some parts that were rare. The rare parts felt (and looked) too much like raw ground beef, tasted mushy. It wasn't a big deal though because it was still edible. If I come back here, I would probably just order medium to be on the safe side. What actually ruined the patty for me was the chewy, rubbery gristle. The other burgers didn't have as much but mine had gristle in nearly every bite. Thankfully, the brioche bun and veggies kind of made up for the meat. The onion rings were really fried and super crunchy; they almost looked burnt. It was a little too fried for me but I still enjoyed it. The spicy barbecue sauce was really good and had a tiny kick. I preferred the spicy barbecue sauce to the garlic aioli. The aioli was too thick so I liked combining the two sauces. The fries were basic chain restaurant fries, crispy and fluffy. I would be happy with ordering either fries or onion rings again. However, I think the onions rings made the burger more enjoyable. Pretty big place with lots of seating. Quick and friendly service.

We paired this with the loaded fries which made a good shareable meal since we were not too hungry. Like 7th Street, Mexican coke is available if that is your thing. Other burger options include kimchi, jalapenos and fried egg in various configurations.
