I had their Dirty Boba Milk Tea and it was fairly good. The texture of the pearls was nearly spot on and the brown sugar was okay. It's not the best brown sugar milk tea that I have had but it does the job and they give a decently sized large for a lower price than most places. One of the main cons is that the lid for the cup wasn't sealed on but just a plastic removable lid which makes it difficult to properly mix the brown sugar into the drink.

Stopped by Boba Fries in Elmhurst -- yeah, you read that right -- fries and boba under one roof. Modern tea shop vibes, neon lights, and a menu that'll make your taste buds do push-ups. I went full beast mode and ordered the CAFFINATE Espresso -- Colombian coffee, non-dairy creamer, boba, and pudding. It's like your morning coffee hit the gym and came back with gains. Then I hit their Signature Cajun Fries with spicy mayo... crispy, bold, and slightly dangerous -- just how I like it. Props to the staff too -- friendly, fast, and got my order perfect. Elmhurst just keeps winning. #boba #elmhurstnyc #queenseats #nycfoodie #bobafries #masculineeats #foodieinthebigapple #coffeetime #nyceats #bobatea #frieslover #bobashop #queensfood #bobadrinks #matchalover #asianfoodnyc

We tried this spot for the first time today and ordered their Dirty Boba (their take on brown sugar bubble tea) and a Mango Slush for my kids. They absolutely loved it! One of them even said the mango slush is better than Gong Cha's and the other said the Dirty Boba is better than Heytea--which honestly surprised me, because Heytea has been our top favorite until now. Looks like we'll be visiting here more often!

Bubble bubble! Bubble tea! Quick on the go bubble tea! Location: it is located in Elmhurst. The store has few seatings inside where you can chill and enjoy the bubble tea. Service: just order and wait. Not that much interaction. Food: I ordered classic milk tea. It is actually good. You can taste the tea, unlike other milk tea that the tea lost its taste. The bobas are the best as well. Chewey and gooey. Price rating: 7 out of 10. It's a regular price for a bubble tea. Will come back to try other flavors if I'm Elmhurst.

I came here on Christmas Day and they're open! As I entered the doors, the atmosphere felt cozy and homey. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Hot Taro Milk Tea. I loved taro bubble milk tea growing up but I stopped drinking it for years. Drinking the taro flavored milk tea from Boba Fries brings back so many memories. I really enjoyed the hot taro milk tea on this cold, windy day. Next time, I want to try the Wake Up Matcha because I heard great things about it!

We were in the area, saw the reviews and ordered the two most popular - the dragon berry with jelly and matcha w boba (50% less sugar) which was a good call. We also ordered regular fries. It was good but I wouldn't bother to order the fries again. Dragon berry was tangy and refreshing never saw this on a boba menu before and will def come back to order this again. The matcha was def good and the quality was ideal - I've had lots of matcha before including going on matcha binges in Japan and this was def of a higher quality - you could taste that subtle bitterness (that's typical of matcha) it's not for everyone but I thought they made one of the best matcha lattes I've had In awhile. I don't get boba that frequently but when I do I'm particular about where. Kung Fu Tea is still one of my fave chains to order from and this place is a strong contender!

We were greeted right away when we entered. The lady at the front was very attentive and super nice. The gentleman in the back who made the fries was super generous with the amount fries. The boba milk tea have a deep tea flavor. The bobas were chewy on the inside and soft on the outside. I really like their boba! Sweet potato fries are hard to get crispy because of their high sugar content. But their taro sweet potato fries are uber crispy and tasty! I was definitely happy to try this unique item. Their cajun fries were so flavorful and my friend who can't eat spicy well, loved it!

I really like Sweet Potato Fries, so it's a no brainer that I would just head right into this shop. Ordered their signature Sweet Potato Fries with an Iced Matcha Latte. Surprisingly, I got to rave about the Matcha Latte- it was really good (must try). The latte had a deep, rich Matcha flavor with just the right amount of sweetness- it was really satisfying. The warm sweet potato fries was good, but wasn't as crispy as I would've hope. Fries didn't come with any dipping sauce, and when I asked the clerk he said dipping sauces cost extra- he did give me a packet of ketchup. Overall, great Matcha Latte

Stopped by Boba Fries this past Saturday to pick up some bubble tea. They are currently open, but with limited operating hours. When we got there, there was a spaced-out line with about 5-6 people on it. Seems like everyone was craving bubble tea at the same time! There was a small table set up right at the entrance of the establishment to take orders. My boyfriend and I ordered the Dirty Boba Milk (homemade brown sugar with milk and boba) & Hojicha Milk Tea. The total came out to $10+, but Boba Fries is currently offering 20% off for all healthcare employees! There is a $10 minimum to use a credit card charge I was super excited for the hojicha milk tea, but it was pretty light in flavor and maybe a bit watered down. The dirty boba milk tea was very sweet, but give it a good stir and you'll be good to go. We didn't order any fries this time around because I usually prefer eating foods directly in the establishment themselves.. so I will definitely be coming back to try them! I am eyeing those cajun fries.. and those lemon pepper fries

Nice place! Wish we could've gone inside but couldn't due to COVID. Very careful with COVID protocols, short wait (even with a line) and great service overall. Definitely a great addition to the growing Elmhurst community. Also nice to see that there's always a line every time we walk pass it.

As the name suggests, this place offers bubble tea and french fries. They also sells other drinks like shakes, but no actual food. Both the drinks and the fries come in regular and large and are in the $4 to $5 range. With the fries, you are better off paying the 75 cent difference, as there is a decent difference between the regular and large sizes. Despite the limited menu, this place does do its two main offerings well. We chose their two most popular bubble tea flavors: the matcha and the dirty bubble tea. The matcha was as expected, though slightly bitter and somewhat bland as matcha can be. The dirty bubble tea flavor is basically milk tea with caramelized brown sugar syrup. This one was very sweet and very tasty and was the better of the two. For the fries, we tried the original style fries, and their sweet potato fries. Taro fries are also offered here. The fries are thin cut like McDonalds, were crispy, and well seasoned. Definitely very good fries.

Nothing I love more than good bubble tea and fries. I really like this location, they have such chill vibe. After work, me and my friends would just hangout here and order fries and bubble tea. Their fries, very tasty and filling. We would order different fries and share with each other. They have sweet potato and your old school but reliable potato. They have different flavors than can fulfill your craving from savory (lemon pepper) to sweet (taro) even spicy (cajun). They also have a punch card so your 10th bubble tea is free!! Two more and I get a free one :D

Boba AND fries? Who can resist?!? Got the dragonfruit and strawberry puree drink with some passionfruit popping bubbles and lemon pepper fries. The fries were seasoned pretty well and decently crispy. The drink was awesome (I requested minimal sweetness/no extra sugar) and very refreshing. $.50 charge for their special dipping sauces. I got the mango one which tasted fine on its own but I don't think it went that well with the lemon pepper fries. Would like to go back and try the Cajun fries. FYI- $10 min. credit card charge (just add in some toppings and extra dipping sauces to make the minimum)

Ask the Community - Boba Fries

Are there dairy/lactose free options for milk tea?

Our milk teas are made with non dairy creamers. Our coffee lattes and shakes are made with whole milk; our signatures are made with lactose free milk

Do you guys have free WiFi?

Yes we give all our customers free WiFi!

Will you offer delivery via Seamless, UberEats, etc? I live further away, but this looks so good!!!

Sorry, we do not accept delivery due to quality change of the food after it’s delivered (meaning you’ll probably be eating it 30 minutes+ after the food is made). We recommend having our fries eaten right after it’s made.

Couldn't stop eating it. Way better crunch than what I remember from KFC. * Ube pie: easily the best item. Perfect sweetness with a really satisfying crispy shell. * Peach pie: same great crunch but way too sweet for me * Spaghetti: just okay. The sauce is on the sweeter side and not something I'd order again. * Gravy: a bit salty and forgettable, didn't matter much because the chicken carried everything. * Overall: skip the extras and just get a bucket of chicken + ube pie. The tables are oddly located in the middle of the room due to the design of the floor plan. Although, the food is amazing. Chickenjoy! Always the best - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The spaghetti is great and very Filipino style. I've noticed two counters up front but only 1 counter is taking orders. There are people at the back working like crazy due to orders over orders. I recommend just getting in line for orders. I did both online and in person and the in person is way faster than online. Isnt that weird? We walked into a bright, clean, and energetic space with a fast-paced atmosphere that reflects how popular the chain has become. Even with a line forming at the counter, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the operation felt well organized considering the volume of customers coming through the door. The dining room has a casual, functional energy, the kind of place where the focus stays on getting a satisfying meal rather than lingering, and the open kitchen adds a layer of transparency to the process. We went with one of the tender combos, which is really the reason most people come here in the first place. The chicken tenders were juicy, freshly cooked, and had a crispy coating that held up well without feeling overly heavy. The coating had a good crunch that stayed intact through the meal, and the chicken itself was moist and tender throughout. The real standout, though, is the Cane's Sauce. It adds a tangy, peppery flavor that works perfectly with the chicken and honestly ties the entire meal together. Between the tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, it is a simple meal, but one that is executed consistently well. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are solid enough to hold their own alongside the main event. One thing we have noticed is that the chicken can occasionally feel a little greasy depending on the visit, especially if you are ordering a larger combo. For some people that may not be an issue at all, while others might find it sits a bit heavy afterward. That has varied from visit to visit, but it is worth mentioning because the meal is definitely on the richer side compared to some other fast food chicken options. The coleslaw provides a lighter contrast, though it is a fairly standard version of the side and does not stand out the way the chicken and sauce do. The staff during our visit were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was well maintained. Food came out quickly, and despite the limited menu, there is something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing one thing rather than trying to offer dozens of different options. The simplicity of the menu makes the decision process easy, and the consistency of the meal across visits is a big part of the appeal. Raising Cane's delivers a satisfying chicken tender meal with quality chicken, a great signature sauce, and consistently solid sides. It may not be the lightest meal around, but when you are in the mood for crispy chicken tenders and a straightforward comfort-food combo, it is easy to see why so many people keep coming back. The meal is familiar, filling, and hits the right notes for what it sets out to do.

The decor is so cute and I love how each canes location has decor relating to the local area. The first box combo comes with 4 tenders, Texas toast, fries, and a drink.
