The ambiance of canes is great especially when it's not too busy. I went on a weekday night and the service was quick, there was a lot of seating, and it was still a lively atmosphere. The decor is so cute and I love how each canes location has decor relating to the local area. The first box combo comes with 4 tenders, Texas toast, fries, and a drink. You can swap out the Cole slaw with more Texas toast or fries. I love how filling it is and when we got the fries, it was so crispy and fresh. The texas toast was one of the redeeming qualities of the meal, nicely buttered and very fluffy while being slightly crunchy on the edge. Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had at a Cane's. I went upstairs to grab a seat for my boyfriend and me while he was already ordering our food, and out of nowhere an employee snaps at me to "get down" because I "have to order food first." I tried to explain that my bf was ordering already. but instead of listening or offering any real explanation, he just kept repeating the exact same line like a robot. Ate here today for lunch trying this place out in my borough of Queens. I'm definitely surprised to see that it got recently opened in Flushing and it looks brand new. Today, I ate here by myself that I had only brought the canaic combo that comes with 2 cane sauce with a side of large drink, fries, toasted bread, 6 chicken tenders and cole slaw. It was absolutely delicious and it came out absolutely hot, tasty and fresh that I was super full afterwards. I've been here so many times and this location is probably my fave & it's the closest to me too. My daughter is obsessed with RC so everytime we're in Flushing, she has to get it. I, on the other hand, not really a fan. We always get the chicken fingers and texas toast, sometimes the crinkle-cut fries but they get soggy if you don't eat them right away. The chicken fingers are crispy & tender- for me, I have to rely on the cane's sauce for flavor. The toast is good but nothing special. I always put everything in the air fryer (400° for 3-5 min.) as soon as I get home and it tastes just like when you first got it, maybe better. They get extremely busy during lunchtime and on the weekends but the line moves fast & there's also a kiosk you can order from. Needless to say, we'll be back! read more

Ordered The Caniac Combo for $19.99, that included 6 chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, 2 Cane's sauces, Texas toast, soda, and we substituted the coleslaw with a piece of Texas toast. The chicken fingers were bland, batter was not crispy (no crunch) and it was oily. The fries had a small hint of salt, and did not have a crispy outer layer. The Texas toast also light in flavor and wasn't anything special. For the cost, the quality, and the (non-existent) flavor, I can't justify purchasing this again. read more

For a place that 'specializes' in chicken, the chicken fingers were borderline dry and the outside crust hurt the roof of your mouth biting on them. Crinkle-cut fries were soggy and barely salted.
