Everything from checkin to post services was stellar service. Dr. Smith was very kind and compassionate during the consultation. He was detailed and thorough in his explanation for services for my mum. I despise offices that berate clients if you haven't had the best dental care or insurance. I think most people don't knowingly skip dental care, they simply didn't have access. Additionally I love that they didn't upsell or are very pushy with additional services at every opportunity. I decided to give them a call to clear my confusion, because I didn't ask for x-rays and they had insisted upon them. The woman on the phone had dreadful customer service skills and could only offer me answers like "you're responsible to pay it," and "you're responsible to provide previous x-rays to new providers," and "it was in the paperwork." Fair enough, so I paid it. Guess I should be more thorough the next time I go to the dentist because you never know which offices are compassionate and helpful, and which are uncaring and ineffective. I've only ever been to dentists offices that will coordinate record transfers and care with previous providers, so clearer instructions might be beneficial to new patients so that they aren't tricked into paying for treatment that's not indicated. After cracking a tooth late last night while working in Aspen, I had no choice but to make the long drive back to Denver with an exposed root and unbearable pain. I knew I needed immediate attention--and fast. Dr. Moy and Ariana went above and beyond. They made space for me right away and treated my situation with a level of urgency, compassion, and professionalism that's incredibly rare these days. My case wasn't easy--turns out I have unusually long 16mm roots (the average is 10mm), making extraction far more difficult than usual. But Dr. Moy worked with extraordinary precision and care for over three hours, successfully removing the damaged tooth and placing the stud for a future implant. On top of that, they also re-cemented a crown that had come loose. Throughout the entire process, Ariana was incredibly supportive, skilled, and attentive. The two of them made a difficult, painful experience feel safe and manageable--and I left with genuine gratitude. If you're in need of emergency dental work (or honestly, any dental work), do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Moy. His skill, dedication, and heart are second to none.
