My son had to get a mouth scan for the dentist so that he can have an appliance made for his thumb suckng habit. Dr Baker and her crew has us in and out in no time! The whole team was extremely personable and professional. They made our son feel comfortable and kept him smiling all the way through the scan. 3 years later. Should have chosen treatment with Dr Baker. Had significant issues with the ortho that I chose. From what I can tell, Dr Baker dealt with the one concern that I had in 2020 (admin stuff). If I need additional orthodontal work, I will definitely contact Dr Bakers office. 9/16/20 I have received no response to my 8/28 e-mail with a couple of follow-up questions. Downgraded my review to 3 stars. Eliminated this practice from consideration. I really liked Dr Baker, and do feel that Dr Baker would have done a great job, but I suspect that the practice has administrative issues. I could be wrong, but I don't want to take a chance on that kind of frustration. I see plenty of reviews that were impressed with a "Lilly". I'm guessing that she is gone. Before seeing doctor Baker I lived the life of a shark. My bite was so bad I could not bite an apple withought leaving a bite mark of a monster. Now after excellent care I can now rejoin society without shying away from showing my teeth when I smile. More importantly I have full function in my bite and can properly chew my food. The care and attention Dr. Baker showed me as a patient was top notch and I will recommend anyone here to have orthodontic work done. We moved here in July from Arlington VA and needed a new orthodontist to assume my 13 -year old daughter's invisalign treatment. From the moment we walked in I was impressed by Dr. Baker and her assistant Lilly's professionalism and warmth. Lilly was an incredible resource to us in helping transfer files and records from our last practice. She made the process super easy. My son also needed braces and like his sister he chose invisalign as well. Dr. Baker and Lilly were equally great working with my son. Are you a perfectionist? If not, that's okay because Dr. Ginny Baker is! If you are, then you found the right doctor! Do you know why you need a perfectionist? Because the last thing you want is to pay big chunks of change to not have your teeth be perfect. Seriously, think about it. Still with me? I'm 30 and had my braces put on last year. Despite my age, I still act like a child and had things I was instructed not to eat... which means I broke a bracket or two at times but that chocolate almond bar was calling my name so I couldn't resist. Did Dr. Baker treat me as a child? No, she was very professional and got me in to replace the bracket even though it was clearly my fault. Dr. Baker is extremely thorough and personally does each adjustment instead of the assistant (which many other ortho offices do). By the way, I went to five different orthodontists to check for pricing and what their practice looks like. Call me crazy but it is worth researching and to top it off, her pricing was competitive. She cares about your bite and jaw which is important when your teeth move around and no other orthodontist mentioned this to me. Since I already did the research for you and I'm currently a client of hers, I highly recommend using her for braces or jaw issues. To top it off, her assistant is kind and welcoming. read more

Having had braces back in 2003; being the kid I was I let my retainers slide by not wearing it. BAD CHOICE! Fast forward to 12 years later I see my teeth shifting and doing just little things that off balanced my smile. Not only that but every time I yawned my jaw would pop! Worse feeling ever! My cousin had recommended Dr. Baker at 5280 Orthodontist and I'd have to say it had to be best choice ever! Dr. Baker and her assistant Lilly had me taken care of the first day I went in for an evaluation. Pictures left and right then BAM next thing I knew I had braces on AGAIN! First to second day I was just thinking to myself, what did I get myself into? My teeth were so mad at it I didn't want to eat. Lol. With every visit I seen improvement and every time Lilly and Dr. Baker treated me as if it was the first time I went it. 6 months down the road and I got them off!
