The ladies at the front desk were an absolute pleasure, so sweet and so professional, they made me feel so welcome. I also was taken to the back very promptly which was amazing, as I am usually used to waiting for a while at previous dental offices. Getting my teeth cleaned was a breeze. My technician was so so sooo sweet, I wish I could mention her by name but unfortunately I forgot it! Super knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. O'Neal was also wonderful. He made me feel super welcome and eased all my stress; Prior to coming in, I was scared and concerned for the health of my teeth as admittedly I haven't been taking the best care of them. He was very comforting and eased my concerns, and made the time to get me in for a cavity fill very shortly after the cleaning. He was also very funny! I spent years meeting with specialists and artists on how they could camoflauge a scar that bothers me greatly. I picked up Erika's card after an exam, contacted her, and she presented herself, her passion, and her skill with confidence. My first appointment lasted over three hours. I paid in full and listened to her talk the entire time. I am fair-skinned, and she blamed my skin for her lack of progress. Not her wasting time or lack of experience. My follow-up went the same way, except this time she was able to leave a permanent dark circle around my scar, making it incredibly more noticeable. My family was horrified. The third time, my Mom came with me to help keep Erika focused. That was another failed visit, as Erika invited three of her friends into the room with me during my appointment. And talked. And talked. It was rowdy and unprofessional. This scar was given to me by my violent ex-husband before I worked up the the courage and means to leave. It was the last time he attacked me in one of his favorite ways. It is on my shoulder and I have completely changed the way I dress because of it. I called Erika again and told her I was not happy, that was hard to do. She agreed to amend her work. When I arrived, she exclaimed that it looked great. What?? Her definition of good is unique. She developed a perfect color and rubbed it in so the scar was disguised for the first time ever. This was a topical preview and I was very excited, but instead of exercising any efficiency and getting started, Erika again outlined the pale scar further while taking a call from her bank regarding a disputed charge against her work by another woman. I listened as Erika's compassion turned into complete profit-driven righteousness. She was livid and smug, telling the bank that her customer had signed away her rights to refuse payment, tough luck. Some of you may have heard my story from Erika, as she uses it to sell her services. With full knowledge that my scar is clearly more defined than ever, this knowledge eats me up. Erika never finished her job, and worse, has not once called or texted to follow up. Not. Once. I am disgusted. My dermatologist is sickened, and my friends and family are upset and saddened that such a long and hopeful search for solution landed me in the hands of a fraud. Erika, I paid anything you asked and tipped generously. You took advantage of a delicate pain and misrepresented your talent. You are well aware that your work more than disappointed. I see it now and finally write your many-times-requested review. I kept holding out that you would pull through and I could leave positive feedback. You made a bad thing worse, and never owned it. I had a deep cleaning done as well as a crown, and both were great experiences. The dental staff who work on you are extremely nice and gentle. Dr. Akbar is the best. She explains everything thoroughly and is very gentle when performing her diagnosis and the actual process of having your dental work done. I had to be numbed in my mouth and when she gave me my shots, I didnt even feel them. Normally I feel a large pinch, but I didnt feel anything. I would say I have definitely found my dental home. You should definitely schedule a consultation and see for yourself. It will be the last dental office you will want to visit. It's a weird practice. They wanted to know if I was doing this to close my account. I wasn't initially but they treated me so poorly I am now. I have never been so embarrassed! I am a trusting person and trusted they knew what was best for me but it seems like it's a money grab.

I was told that I needed to replace three cavities because the fillings were leaking. The 2/3 they replaced were on the top and not the three on bottom that they needed to be filled so I didn't bother filling the last molar which they were trying to charge $1600 alone!! And now my bite is not even. I was afraid to go back simply because of the uncertain pricing! Then the billing person (who clearly needs more training with coding) told me she verified with my insurance what was going to be covered. I was charged one amount and then my card they have you leave on file was ran again for a totally different amount weeks after I left. They then sent me a $741 bill for no reason. I only had two visits!! I didn't even get an initial Annual free cleaning that my insurance pays for!! I was told I needed to get a debridement first because my insurance wouldn't cover for the scaling I needed so I paid for that upfront and now they are saying the insurance wouldn't cover it. Which is it?!! Now this office is implying I have this outstanding balance over 60 days which in fact I contacted them on June 5th to cancel the $1600 appointment and asked for a detail bill and they are just getting back to me today!! Someone cannot count in that office!! Why would you charge for services that aren't covered? They could have told me this in the consultation. You can't charge me for something I didn't get done. You won't be in office long doing this to innocent people for no reason. I'm not One to be ripped off and I won't be ever again. I have great insurance and I don't even understand why this is going on. I will never go there again. Ever! This was one of the reasons I don't even bother going to the dentist in the south.
