Dr. Splitt took an x-ray and started the procedure. She did not tell me that my root canal was calcified and she could not finish it. Instead of referring me to an endodontist she just sent me home. The next day my face was swollen and I was in agonizing pain. I went to another dentist and he referred me to the endodontist right away! Dr. Splitt, you should be ashamed of yourself! With that many years in practice you knew exactly what you were doing! You just wanted to get the money for the procedure and you did not care about patient in pain and all the consequences your actions could've caused. Such a person should not be practicing dentistry.

In the beginning of seeing the dentist as new clients her first teeth work (fillings) had a decent amount of them that would require her to be still and keep her mouth open for far too long so I opted to do it under anesthesia at the hospital and 10/10 recommend going that route. It was timely, insurance was used, the hospital was nice, I felt more comfortable being at a pediatric hospital that had good reviews in Hoffmann Estates, did not have to pay ridiculous contracted anesthesiologists costs. I have always been allowed in the room!!! My biggest reason we picked this dentist. They also specialize in children with disabilities so they're very patient, kind, and understanding if accommodations are needed. Never had an issue with billing. The waiting room is smaller but my daughter always looks forward to the giant light bright board and coins for the prize machines afterwards. 10/10 recommend!
