Our experience with Invisalign treatment at this office has been costly, stressful, and ultimately unsatisfactory. We paid $3,000 for Invisalign. After two years, the work on my daughter's teeth was still not completed to a satisfactory standard. The orthodontist claimed my daughter "didn't comply" and said the only way to continue was to start over and pay another $3,000. Later he offered a "discount" for $1,400 instead. We agreed, hoping this would finally finish the job. After another full year, the treatment was still not done and not completed as promised. Again he blamed my daughter, who is a responsible young adult and wore the aligners as instructed, saying she had a "history of non-compliance." He then asked for yet another $1,000 to continue. Another concern is that the orthodontist rarely spoke with us directly. Most of the time he stayed in another room and had staff relay messages about money, compliance, or next steps. We often saw staff leave the room to speak with him privately and then return to tell us that we needed to pay more or that my daughter was "not complying." When we had questions or concerns, he avoided direct communication and relied on staff to speak for him instead of addressing us personally. After we finally left the office, I looked up reviews online and discovered that other patients reported similar experiences, being told they were "not complying," asked for more money, and left with unsatisfactory results. This confirmed that what we went through was not unique. When I expressed my frustration in an honest review, the orthodontist began calling me multiple times a day, leaving voicemails. When I finally answered, he was aggressive and told me he would continue my daughter's treatment for no additional charge only if I removed my review immediately. When I questioned this, he became threatening, said he had spoken to his attorney, commanded that the review "must" be removed that day, and then hung up on me. This behavior has left me feeling harassed and intimidated. After three years, thousands of dollars, and repeated accusations of "non-compliance," our experience is that the treatment was never completed to a satisfactory standard and we faced constant demands for more money. I rarely write reviews, but this experience has been so costly and frustrating that I feel compelled to warn others before they commit to treatment. read more

Just finished Invisalign with Dr. Molis. I live a little over an hour drive away, but a friend recommended and his price was the most fair and he has a lot of experience so I decided to go with him. During this process I had to move out of state and they gave me clear instructions for what to do because I was unable to get my next trays. They are willing to mail me my retainers now that I finisher which is great for me as well! Overall I would say it was a great experience, the staff are all amazing and in the end I felt Dr. Molis cared more about my teeth than I did myself. I've heard from other friends about their Invisalign experience which involve like sending in pictures every week or telecom check ups. I do not care for that as I think the instructions were simple enough for me to just keep them on and come in, Dr. Molis would double check if everything is good and we see where we go. So I guess while he does not do all these extra things, being simple as I am I enjoyed the straight forward process. I didn't hate my teeth before but my teeth are DEFINITELY better and I'm happy with how they are now. I have been going here for many years but lately I've worried about how much is accurate vs $ hungry. They are out of network for our insurance, and we continued going here, but after learning my husband had 8 cavities from this office, we decided to go to another office in network to fill cavities in network at the lower rate. Not yet done with treatment, I have two more trays for my bottom row but I've been so excited to share photos of my new smile. If you are considering Dr. Molis for Invisalign do it do it do it! I had a narrow top arch with a lateral incisor twisted out of alignment, and over crowding in my bottom arch. Being in my early twenties I was super shy about my teeth since most of my peers had their teeth aligned. I love my smile so much now, even with my attachments I show them off as much as I can. Dr. Molis is elite when it comes to Invisalign, you won't find anyone else in the area who can do it better than him. My smile is wider and more symmetrical now and the movements he prescribed didn't hurt half as much as I expected. I can update this in in July with my final, pre refinement results but the over all transformation is now visible! Molis screwed up my teeth, didn't take me in for an emergency appointment, never mailed me my trays as requested several times and then threatened to take me to court for a $200 balance despite the fact that we had promptly paid off an over $5,000 balance with them in the past 3 years. I had to go to another dentist, pay them for their services to check my teeth out when a procedure performed at Molis caused an infection. Despite being in severe pain, the staff at Molis denied me an emergency visit. Proceed with caution. They are not all as nice as they seem to be. When it boils down to money, customer service goes out the door and they will become monsters. To top it all off, Dr. Molis himself called me a liar when I told him about my tooth infection and said that's what people say when they owe money (despite the fact that they still have all of the rest of my trays that they were going to mail out). I paid off my balance with them but I still hold this to be true (and the other dentist I visited in Mortan Grove can attest to this), a procedure I got done at Molis dental caused an infection. This has been going on since last year and I never wanted to write a bad review but after getting yelled at by Dr. Molis this morning, I felt like others needed to know. Very disappointing experience! I was initially told my insurance would cover my entire treatment-untrue. During my mid-treatment check in, Dr. Molis stopped in for 10 seconds to ask if I was wearing my Invisalign as directed then left. During my final visit, not only did he not compare my before and after results but failed to remove all of the residue from my teeth. I had to schedule another appointment due to his lack of attention to detail. Poor patient experience, I would not recommend Dr. Molis to anyone! read more

I decided to try Molis Dental, thanks to moving nearby and receiving a mailer advertising a free gas card for new patients. That gas card offer was legit, and I cherished every half-penny of it. I was impressed to see a waiting room that felt much more like a salon waiting area than the typical sterile waiting room of medical offices, with 2-years-old magazines strewn about and sad plastic toys for the bored-out-of-their-minds children. It was very easy to schedule an appointment, and my wait time was minimal once I arrived and completed initial paperwork. The staff were very helpful and relatively cheerful. My cleaning and exam went well. Dr. Molis is an interesting character who breaks the ice with some fun facts about his professional and personal life. He's a busy man. I was very grateful and impressed that he offered to sand down a few of my teeth from an injury that happened a few years back - for no extra charge. I took a leap of faith (you can't un-sand teeth), and it paid off very nicely. I will admit that I did have to suppress an eye roll during the Invisalign elevator pitch, but I get that he's one of the most accomplished providers of the system, so it's his deal. My only headache from the visit was that the clerk couldn't get my insurance figured out, but eventually it was resolved. In a nutshell (don't forget to floss): highly recommended. read more

I went to him for Invisalign's and was paying them off monthly, when it came time to get my last set I was told that I could only get 1 tray a month because it wasn't paid off yet. Then Covid hit and I called and called but no answer so I thought they were closed for a while. He said only 6 weeks but I'm not sure. When I called to get an appointment it was 3 months to get in. He told me I needed a tooth pulled from under my permanent bridge and get the rest of my Invisalign. I used all of them and was wearing the last one on the bottom for almost a year to keep them as strait as I could but I needed more to get them perfect. He said it will be 395.00 for the rest and the retainer. When I went to get the tooth pulled he told me it will be 395.00 for the top with a fake tooth put in AND another 1400.00! For the bottom. I was so upset and told him that's not what he said. He took my last bottom one when I was there and it took over a month for my appointment because I had a wedding and didn't want my front teeth missing. So when I got home I could see that when he cut the bridge and pulled the tooth the rest of the bridge is pulled away from my gums. So now I have to start at a new dentist, but I would pay anyone else BEFORE him! Very unprofessional!!!!! Now I have to get new Invisalign's and start over. read more

I couldn't be happier! Everything about my experience at Molis Dental was pleasurable. I was so impressed with how quickly they got me in and their late hours couldn't be more accommodating. After paying nearly $400 for dental work up front plus my insurance coverage I have found out years later that I've been sent to collections. I was told that they only provide estimates for work, and what I paid up front was not towards an actual quote for work. Pretty standard stuff done, just cavities, which is questionable anyway as I'd never had a cavity until I saw him. Another dentist commented that Dr. Molis may be a bit more aggressive in cavity treatment, and did more work than was necessary. So now I've got a collection agency on my credit report, and Molis dental refuses to take payment for the balance due. I would stay away. read more

There is no dentist that compares to Dr. Molis! I have seen several dentists in my lifetime- cleanings, several cavity fillings, root canal, crown, and bonding. I can't believe I have spent so much time and money on dentists who are just not up to the caliber of Dr. Molis. I came into Molis Dental with an unbelievable amount of work to be done, most of which was correcting the mistakes of past dentists, including a crown, bonding, and a cavity which has been sensitive for four years, despite my previous dentist's several attempts at a filing. Bottom line, Dr. Molis is the real deal. I am finally pleased with the aesthetics of my smile, and for once in my life I have zero sensitivity in any of my teeth!
