If…read moreyou choose to go here be very mindful of what you are paying for and if you have to set up payments really pay close attention to how much they are taking. I went for my bi-annual exam which is normally covered by my insurance 100%. They ended up doing a bunch of extra stuff and billed me $254.00, $50 is my deductible I paid that day. Then they showed that I owed $204 and set up a payment plan of $50 a month because I was not prepared to pay such a large balance that day. After insurance processed the claim I really only owed $191.60 total or $141.60 after my deductible was already paid. So I should have only had 2 payments of $50 and then the balance of $41.60 for the 3rd month taken from my account. As of right now they have taken $150 and still have 2 more payments scheduled to take from my bank another $50 then the $4 because they are still trying to collect $254.00 , which it should be $191.60. To me this is stealing. I have insurance for a reason and I expect to get 2 free cleaning a year if additional work needs to be done it needs to be discussed after my cleaning, then I can get a quote discuss with my insurance and do what is necessary at a future date. I feel like I didn't even get my free cleaning because I ended up being charged for it. They made me very uncomfortable with the extra work that was done, and after the cleaning normally you get your teeth polished didn't even happen, so they did not even complete the cleaning as far as I am concerned. I don't think they care about their patients at all just trying to collect as much money from you as they possibly can, then double dipping and being paid by the insurance as well.

The reception is always positive and helpful. State insurance Medicaid is accepted (check your own plan though) for children and I believe they've now expanded to adults as well. I wanted an orthodontic viewpoint on a solution prior to the crowns and veneers flying. I chose to seek out the expertise from this group of Doctors as my son had his braces done with them & they were great. Kathy at the front desk was always pleasant too. Nancy, assistant to Dr. Beth Blackwell Nill began by asking me questions, listening and looking in my mouth. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Nill came in to meet with me. Same routine- asked questions, listened to my thoughts and examined my mouth. She discovered broken porcelain in between the two teeth and advised a more simple and cost effective solution to my problem would be to have another crown replaced rather than go down the path of orthodontia. Her passion for her work is clear and she has experience to back her expertise. She also gave me some great information about shading with respect to veneers and crowns, going to the labs and strongly encouraged me to make sure I was extremely satisfied with the work. When expressing my enormous gratitude to them for their help, they both assured me they were happy to help and even said I could call with more questions. Bottom line, I know their work is excellent as my son had his braces done here. After my consultation with Nancy & Dr. Blackwell Nill this morning, I have immense respect for their honesty, love of their work and product, and willingness to help. After years of debilitating headaches and many incorrect diagnosis I was finally correctly…read morediagnosed with TMJ. An oral surgeon referred me to Dr. Herre. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Herre's knowledge of TMJ. He also teaches other dentist how to treat this condition so I would consider him an expert. Dr. Herre made me a bite splint and at first, I will be honest, the expense was really hard to swallow. However, when you consider that the hour long follow up visits (all included) for weeks and weeks afterwards, it really makes the cost more understandable. Anyway, I have had my bite splint for 5 weeks now and the proof is in the pudding. I went from someone who spent probably 10 days a month in bed with migraines to being nearly headache free. Before I also had other symptoms like not being able to chew foods, ear pain, facial pain and all of it has disappeared. My husband is thrilled that I'm not tired all the time anymore. I cannot say how pleased I am with the results so far.

I have had the same Hygienist, Fern, for as long as I can remember, Louise has greeting me since I started going there and I appreciate the family atmosphere of the practice. Their staff is obviously loyal for a reason. They are a great bunch of people. My entire family sees the Herre's. Over the years I have gotten sealants, fillings and broken teeth removed on top of my regular visits and I have always felt at ease. I am never intimidated and as Dr. Scott will tell you, I never cried! It's a nice treat to go to what is usually a dreaded experience and actually sort of enjoy myself and feel cared for.

She has been so flexible with my schedule, since I'm only in state once per quarter. They are so up-to-date with technology, even offering skype appointments to check in on my progress if necessary, when I need a check and can't get there! I have been so happy with their staff. Each and every person that works there is kind, positive, and truly does great work. Dr. Hansen is an absolute artist, and is seriously working miracles with my crooked teeth in record time.
