Poor scheduling, chaotic and all on me to make sure my kids are scheduled. Mask lovers, which makes no sense due to them working in a person's mouth. Can't even open the waiting room due to covid??? Unacceptable scheduling policy and zero accountability, professionalism, and responsibility. I paid them $7k in exchange for straight teeth by a certain date and they let my son fall through the cracks and go without an adjustment for 6 months. When I called they didn't care and wanted to wait 3 weeks to get in. When I told the receptionist - then the office manager Jasmine - that not only their service was unacceptable, but also the next date available, she only wanted to interrupt me, defend the policy to let their patients go without treatment, then threaten to drop me from the program. Piss poor service. I didn't start with them. They took over the Ortho office that originally put on his braces. Think twice before choosing this group. This is their policy and they float between locations throughout the city so they're not part of the community. I also had a similar experience with the short Ortho doctor. read more

One of my friends recommended them because they had an Amazon local deal for orthodontia services for only $2,500 - a steal compared to all the others I called. They have 4 locations and travel between them. It wasn't a problem for me to go to the location they were at that day but I can see where some may find challenges with scheduling because of it. They very technologically advanced and it's apparent even from the design and computer/check-in system in the lobby. Everyone was extremely nice, took a lot of time to explain everything, and gave a lot of personalized attention. In the end, I got the braces I need at a fraction of the cost with a dental group I feel like I could trust. They're great and I highly recommend them. read more

They took over Burleson's due to him retiring. My son had been seen in that office for the last year so we just continued with them. I received a call from the office with an insurance issue and they stated I didn't have insurance since May and I owed $800 on his balance .I called my insurance to verify the claim. I still had insurance but a coding error had been made and now fixed. There was never a lapse. I called the office and spoke with jasmine who said she would resubmit however it had been months they had been trying to reach me so they will see what happens. I said for months you've been trying to reach me?? I explained The first voicemail I got from them I returned the call. And for months if you tried calling a patient maybe a phone number change could have occurred or you possible dialed incorrectly .And did you try to send a letter? Which they hadn't the only letter I received was the one to inform me of doctors retirement and the new doctors information. I deff did not think here tone with me was professional And I actually called back to speak with someone else about her treatment but she was the office manager so pretty much this is who I now have to deal with. I called a week or so later when my son had an appointment and asked about the situation and nothing had been noted I have an auto payment set up and have always paid with no issue. And noticed the took another payment out for $100 which hasn't been authorized. There is no reason my insurance should not deal with the situation but if not I would deal with the payment and that office should have never took an unauthorized payment from my bank or treated a customer so poorly. read more

I definitely would not recommend this facility for pediatric dentistry. It's more of an orthodontic factory get you in and get you out. We didn't even get to see a dentist only a hygienist or it could have been an assistant. It is not geared for pediatric dentistry at all in my opinion and I've been in the profession for 25 years. I would not come back to this facility again. read more

I wouldn't even consider 1 star for this place the first time I went there was great I got a thank you voice mail from the dr himself very impressive for coming there my daughter had a teeth cleaning from a gal who was sweet and people treated us great But then there was the second time I paid cash to have a dental exam to see what was going on with my daughters teeth. and the girl I ended up seeing didn't even bother to look at my daughter really and she said she was new. She told me my daughter didn't gave cradle rot and not to worry about baby teeth they aren't important she didn't know why my daughter had brown teeth talking to her mind u all we did was talk she wouldn't even look at my daughter really her excuse your baby won't let me see her teeth and do you think the dentist came over to do an exam nope When I see my daughters pediatrician dr she said my daughter had a real tooth issue and I wasn't doing anything wrong but it looked like the enamel was off her teeth I told her my experience at the dental office and she said she recommends I see the dentist next time and soon and thought it was odd a dentist didn't perform the exam. Which I did too. I told her I had another apt in a month and she said good that would be fine So I go to the dentist office again I'm put with the same ridiculous person this person takes one look at my daughter and says what are we here for counting teeth I said no a teeth cleaning and exam she repeats counting teeth and then tells me she doesn't want to do anything to my daughter because she's crying I told her what the dr said and she said well the dentist most likely won't want to see her either because we don't want to terrify kids or work on crying kids. Another hygienist made a comment give her a minute she isn't crying anymore the girl still didn't say anything. She said let me go see the dentist she leaves for a good while Comes back saying my apt wasn't covered by insurance I looked at her in shock and said you guys told me it was and what about the dentist? I thought you were getting the dentist. She said well I was at the desk and thought you should know Thanks Burleson you have wasted my time and money twice now. And not to mention very poor customer service you have mixed up my schedule and charged me for not even looking in my daughters mouth and you then look at us and turn us away because my baby cried. You are in pediatric dentistry after all babies cry!! I waited for the owner or manager to see me and the receptionist said they were in a consult with a patient ok but then they tell me they are working on a patient since when do managers work on patients?? Then the office receptionist says that lady looking at my daughter both times is an assistant!!! Not a hygienist what is she doing looking at my daughter in the first place! You all need to get your stuff together highly unorganized and pointless place I have only written one review my entire life I am 32 years old I am usually a very easy going person but this one needed to be written I will be searching for a new pediatric dentist and I recommend to anyone out there don't waste your time like I did or your hard earned cash You don't know who will be looking at your kids mouth if your apts sill be set right or if you will even have someone to look in your kids mouth at all read more

My kids rarely saw Dr. Burleson. Absolutely ridiculous. I expect to see the orthodontist when that's what I pay for. My kids are now under the care of a different orthodontist but unfortunately not soon enough. One of my children had 4 permanent teeth pulled per his recommendation which has now caused longer bracing! Total regret! Another child is now been in them for 4 years! Total train wreck! read more

It started out as a great experience which quickly led to a disaster! I was fired for getting injured on the job 3 years ago and slowly fell behind on my daughters payments for braces. Even paying off all but $144 for the initial $4,600 package, every time I would gather up enough to make a payment to schedule an appointment they would say they needed more $ to see her that day. $116 turned into a $582 visit instantly. Today they legally tried to entrap me into signing another new treatment contract which was another $3,600 (because the lady was so kind to take off a $1,000) so I peacefully declined and we left. Now my daughter has her braces on and needs more work to finish yet I cannot afford another $4,600 (or even discounted $3,600) for the same thing I already paid for. I tried calling to let them straighten it out yet they only hung up on me. Be aware, they are as legit as a used car salesman when it boils down to character! Now I have to find another dentist to finish what Burleson refuses to finish even under the original contract from more than 4 years ago AND acquire an attorney to retain some of my loss, all on a very very low fixed income.
