I'd put it right up there with someone scratching their nails down a chalkboard (insert *chills*). Well, fear no more and enter The Dental Associates at Pitman. I love everything about this place! The front office staff is warm, friendly and always greets me with a smile. The dental hygienists and dentists are wonderful! Doesn't really matter who you get because they're all caring, experienced professionals with impressive credentials to boot, but I've got to shout out to my hygienist Cathy. She is personable, thorough and very gentle to the touch. I've also had the pleasure of meeting and consulting with two of four dentists on staff, Dr. Choi and Dr. MacFeeters. Both further exemplify the many qualities I look for in an exceptional dentist and dental office. The facility itself it also quite nice. At the time of scheduling, she had them verify that they took our insurance, Philadelphia Federation of Teachers through United Concordia. They said yes. She then asked them if they accepted children....yup, starting at 3 years old. "Same insurance?" Yup. So far, so good. About a week later, my wife found a different dentist that had something sooner, so she booked with them and called Corsi to see if *I* could take her appointment slot. (Again, we are new to the area, so we both need new dentists.) "Same insurance?" Again, "yup." Again, no problem. Fast forward to TODAY (6/22), when I get, AS MY FIRST COMMUNICATION FROM CORSI EVER, a text message asking me to confirm my appointment next week. I reply and confirm at 9am. At 12:08 pm, and I get a voicemail that I have been removed from their calendar, because they do not accept my insurance; an insurance that they THREE TIMES said they accepted, and that was verified with our provider. They also said to me, and I quote, "...we've been trying to call you, and you do not respond to any of our phone calls." Again, I had NEVER received a call from them, and the only thing I DID receive from them, a text to confirm, I responded to immediately, 3 hours before this phone call. I call the office, and get a woman that wasn't rude, but certainly wasn't pleasant, and she explains that whomever told us that they took our insurance was wrong, and to come in would be $99. Fair enough, but the accusation that I was deliberately ignoring their phone calls, and the fact that you dropped me a week away from my appointment, after telling me TWO MONTHS AGO that you took my insurance, just left a bad taste in my mouth. A mouth that will now have to wait another 2 months to find another dentist. We've heard rumors that dental offices are not keen on accepting clients with our, admittedly not great, dental insurance, and this interaction smacks of someone with better insurance asking for an appointment, and me and my less desirable insurance getting the bump. While it's certainly possible to incorrectly think you take a certain insurance, it's a lot harder to understand when that information is checked, and passes muster, THRICE. Also, saying "we've been trying to reach you," is fine, saying "you don't return our calls" is not. I have NEVER received a CALL from Corsi, let alone a voicemail asking me to call back. I even thought that maybe they were calling my WIFE, since she was the original appointment, but she said she has no calls or voicemails either.

I work as a registered nurse, and I write this as a patient who had dental work performed here…read more I regret ever coming to this office. All of this happened within a span of 6 months. The first time I came here as a new patient, I noticed my tooth was discolored. I mentioned this to the dental hygentist taking care of me, and he said he didn't see anything, and pulled another dental hygentist in the room to look at my tooth. He said to me "That discoloration is the color of your tooth", as the other dental hygienist laughed at me. Another time I went, I asked the woman at the check out desk which pain medication to take after I had my root canal done. She said to me condescendingly, "You won't have any pain because the nerve is gone". She's right that I may not have nerve pain anymore, but I would have inflammation to the surrounding tissues due to the nerve being extracted. There was no need for her attitude. I went there for a routine cleaning recently, and at the end, the dental hygienist said to me "Has it been a while since your last cleaning? Because it looks like it's been... you know..." and gives me a look, insinuating that I had a lot of plaque in my teeth, and that it has been a long time since I had my them cleaned. If you have ever worked in healthcare, you're taught to keep your judgments to yourself and to care for the patient. Another time I went into their office, the endodontist assessed my tooth and determined it would be appropriate to do a second root canal. They had to move me to another room for the procedure, and when I walked in, I saw a bib on the chair. I told one of the employees that a patient left their bib on the chair. The girl took the bib, left the room, and said "They said that was there for you", and I told her "No, I already have one". I had doubts the room was properly clean. After the 2nd part of my root canal was finished, and after the numbing medicine wore off, I have no idea what the dentist did to me, but I had a fat lip that lasted for days. I don't know how common this is, but I've never had this happen to me before. Last, I had a crown placed one week ago, and it fell out last night. I called this morning to come in and be seen, and they refused to see me because they had no cancellations. I wanted to be taken today because it may not be possible to come in for the remainder of the week, due to childcare, work, and various appointments. The woman on the phone said "Then I will tell Michele next week then". They are refusing to see me over a crown they put in one week ago because they have no cancellations. As a patient, all of this behavior is egregious and unacceptable. I should not have tolerated all that I did, and should have seen another dentist sooner. The only positive thing I will say, is that Dr. Singh, the endodontist, was exceptional. I felt little to no pain, he was personable, kind, and soothing. I would recommend anyone to go to him if you need a root canal done. I don't expect this office to take this review seriously, and I have no doubts the people in this office will make fun of this review. But I'm putting this out there to warn other patients of how unprofessional this office runs.

I get an Automated Text Message for an Appt I don't recall making. Anyways show up for the Appt and here it's a Cleaning?? But still have a Cracked Crown in my Mouth going on over a Year. Told them I Don't want a Cleaning, I want my Issue Fixed. I Paid $510 and still haven't had it Fixed as of Today 5/26/26. Told Kelly just Refund the $510 and I will go somewhere else. The consult and X-rays were performed and since then the front desk manager Danielle Warker is refusing to abide to the contract. This manager is rude and hung up on me. So then I went in person with the contract and she told me to leave the office. She told me the contract was just for dental cleanings which is not true since the VA handles the cleanings.
