Saw Dr Kao on 4/29/26 and 4/30/26 for fillings, he was friendly, had great stories and added a lot of humor during treatment. Yvette helped him on both days and they work well together. Yvette always made sure I was comfortable, offered me water and headphones to relax, very sweet and easy to talk to. The office now has cherry payments - like Klarna and affirm which is nice because you no longer have to pay a lump sum. Office is immaculately clean.

We went for the couple packages which was two one hour sessions. Upon our arrival we filled out some forms which she also took the time to explain to us what each form was for and why - really made us feel super comfortable that we weren't just signing any random form. As the teeth whitening service began, she explained our present teeth color and what all she would be doing during our procedure. My Fiance and I were really happy that Jo took the extra care and time to make us feel comfortable while explaining every step of the way so there were no surprises. The 1 hour procedure for each of us was broken up to 3 x 20 min procedures. Her massaging chairs, pink ambient lights, Spotify music and phone holder really make it easy to kick back and relax while the teeth whitening procedure is happening. After she added the gum protection and teeth whitening solutions we both were on our way to a better and brighter smile. During the procedure, my Fiance (who normally has sensitive teeth), requested to reduce the strength of the procedure and Jo skillfully adjusted and made the remaining procedure for my Fiance easy and smooth. At the end, both of us were shocked with how white Jo got out teeth after just one visit! Then she explained what not to do/eat during the first 24 & 48 hours, then we were all done! I went back for the severe pain still after a week and the dentist sent me to the specialist who wanted to charge me $6,000 for a whole surgery to fix the work City Dental did! I let City Dental know and the dentist said, "Oh! Well let me try to root canal them again." The pain after treatment here sent me to multiple specialists who all said the same thing, "Whoever did this to you did subpar work and used cheap materials." I am very sad because I loved going there but one by one I AM LOOSING the TEETH THAT WERE TREATED HERE. Dr. Sam, you are amazing but please supervise your dentists to check their ethic, work practice, and integrity in providing long lasting teeth and service PLEASE! I have been to many Endos and quoted THOUSANDS of dollars to get implants!! The root canals and crowns I had at other dentists have outlasted the work I had done at City Dental Azusa. Please, I beg everyone to save your time and money because you will pay for it later and continue to be in PAIN. I hope this saves someone's teeth!!
