This time around I came to get my teeth whitened which turned out really well in the end. I did it for 1hour, split into 3 20 minutes. My teeth do not experience any discomfort or pain during the session or even afterwards. So that's why I returned specifically to her for the whitening. In fact, I had to take a three year break after moving to Texas, but now that my family and I are finally back in California this summer, I'm so happy to be back with this dental office again. I genuinely feel fortunate to be a patient here. Over the years, I've received dental care all over the United States and around the world, including California, Washington, DC, Virginia, Florida, Texas, Connecticut, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France, and Japan, including while I was stationed overseas in the military. I've experienced many different dentists and dental practices along the way, and Olive Family Dentistry truly stands out as one of the very best. Dr. Dmitry Aminov is, in my opinion, clearly one of the best dentists in Southern California. Wherever he is practicing dentistry, that's where I want to go. He's professional, caring, thorough, and someone I completely trust with my family's dental care. I also have to mention Dr. Edvin. While I normally see Dr. Dmitry, I've seen Dr. Edvin briefly in the past, and he is spectacular as well. If Dr. Dmitry happens to be out or unavailable, I know I'm still in excellent hands with Dr. Edvin. He's another superb dentist and another reason I have so much confidence in this practice. One of the things I love most about Olive Family Dentistry is that they truly make you feel like family when you're there. You never feel like you're just another patient walking through the door. There is a genuine warmth and kindness throughout the entire office, and after going there for so many years, it really does feel like coming back to family. The entire team at Olive Family Dentistry is amazing. Mercedes and Benny at the front desk are exceptional and incredibly helpful, especially when it comes to understanding dental insurance and what is and isn't covered. We have Delta Dental's Federal Employees Dental Program High PPO Nationwide/International plan, so having knowledgeable office staff who can help us understand our coverage is extremely important. And I have to give a special shoutout to Mercedes and Benny. Apparently, some people call them "Mercedes Benz," and honestly, it fits perfectly. They're a pretty high class team! I guess you could say it's dental care with a little Mercedes-Benz style. LOL! All of their dental assistants and techs are amazing as well. Armine, in particular, is wonderful. She is super kind, efficient, and professional when taking X rays and assisting with dental care. That's especially appreciated when you're getting those X rays we all love so much. LOL! Somehow, she even makes that part easy. And Lina is simply the best dental hygienist I've ever had. She is absolutely spectacular at what she does. She's efficient, fast, incredibly thorough, and has tremendous attention to detail. Most importantly, she always makes you feel comfortable and well cared for. My entire family will continue coming here for as long as they accept our insurance, which I certainly hope they always do! You simply cannot go wrong with this dental office. Everyone here provides exceptional care and professionalism, and I truly believe Olive Family Dentistry sets a standard that other dental offices should strive to follow. I mean, honestly, I'm an incredible man-baby. I used to be nervous just driving past a dentist office. But now, well, the fact that I'm still going there is HUGE testament to their practice. It's crazy to say, but now when I go there I feel like I'm walking into a friend's house. I know that may sound cheesy, but it's true. I keep waiting for someone to break out a six-pack and put the game on. Consider their starting lineup: Dr. Eliza, Jescik, Jarmen, Javier and Martha. They're all so warm and kind, of course. But what's really important it that they all know their roles and work so well together. Maybe Dr. Eliza should do a Ted Talk to teach other business leaders how to properly put together a team, because I'd take her starting five any day over, say, the 2000 Lakers even. (Okay, maybe none of the Smiles team can dunk, but that's here nor there.) Anyway, as I probably did back in 2013, maybe I'm laying it on a little thick, but whatever. This is not a paid endorsement.
