I was told it's 3 weeks for new dentures to arrive, then I would have to try them and wait another 3 weeks for any adjustments. Well it's now 6 weeks and still waiting for the denture to arrive to test and see how it fits and none has called me with any updates. I have been calling them, and they have told me someone will call me back, but they never do. The office smells heavy like potpourri spray so much that it is nauseating. Some doctors are available only during certain days of the week, and then you are forced to wait weeks until they are available, making the process much longer than it should be. I felt rushed by the last doctor I saw because he is there once a week only so he was fully booked. Update: 4 months later and I still waiting. No call back either. Update: Several issues: 1. During my 10 months to one-year visiting this place, I have seen about 6-7 different doctors. The doctors keep leaving. 2. First, it took about 15-17 weeks to get a partial dental delivered. (During this process and with the first cleaning, I saw 3 doctors.) 3. Then the partial didn't fit properly but never got it fixed because while waiting for the appointment, I had the surgery with a specialist and I no longer needed the partial that I paid $600 out-of-pocket for and did not get to use once. 4. The clear aligners did not fit properly so they cut it and gave me a partial aligner. Now the teeth not covered by the aligner are sore and shifting. And i was told I need to see a specialist to get them corrected! Probably going to have to pay cash if ins. don't cover. 5. The 2 crowns I just got do not fit right! And every time I say something the doctor just files down my teeth and crowns. But they still don't fit right! 6. she filed down my teeth and those two teeth are now very sensitive when eating or drinking cold water. Im afraid to say anything because she just filed down the crowns again, but the crowns just don't fit right!! You can actually see how much bigger and wider the crowns are. Don't even look anything like the crown I got the previous year. I'm sore from the unevenness, but if I say something she will file down the crowns again Im afraid. I feel like there is nothing to file down! They are just not the correct crowns! read more

I gotta say, I'm a bit surprised to see so many negative reviews on here. Perhaps I got the good crew, but my experience was fantastic. Amber and Frida on the front desk were responsive, organized, and polite and got me scheduled and everything setup up before I came in which made it very smooth. From the actual "teeth-cleaning" side, I have some serious gag reflex issues which make the bite x-rays nearly impossible. I explained this to Dr. Khan and the assistants Judy and Joaquin, and they were totally understanding. I really appreciated the fact that they acknowledged if I've tried some of the "tricks" in the past (I've tried them all, I'm 35 so this has been going on my whole life essentially) that there's probably nothing to be done to avoid it other than doing a different type of x-ray. They were able to use the panoramic machine to do those x-rays, saving us all the suffering that is my typical struggle. Dr. Khan was also very informative with regard to my initial evaluation, and didn't do the thing I've found is all to common with some dentists - trying to sell a bunch of bolt-on services I didn't need. He did my cleaning and told me a few things to watch out for. Overall, really, really great experience. Glad I found the place. read more

Front desk is very organized and very friendly staff. Dr Goyal has been amazing and cannot thank her enough! My previous dentist fell off the map and I need clearance for an upcoming hip replacement surgery and pressed for time. She went above and beyond by personally making the necessary appointments needed with other specialists in order to ensure I would receive the clearance in time. She also squeezed me in more than once to make sure I was good to go. Highly recommend Dr. Goyal, she truly went above and beyond for me during an extremely stressful time. The Indian doctor is incompetent doctor khan I think that was his name. I had my whole family who went there he doesn't treat children cavities. He can't do the root canal on my wife, he can't pull her tooth either he does the bare minimum. His a lazy doctor I would expect to get most of the work done in one office only. I had to move my family out of that office unfortunately. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Do not trust them. Make sure that you get a quote in writing and call your insurance yourself before having any work done. I had an appointment scheduled for January and they called me to move it up to late December. I asked the office lady if it would be covered under my insurance and she said "yes, I checked". I then received a bill from them for $1800 and when I inquired about it with my insurance, they let me know that the claim wasn't approved. I called Smile Town to discuss it and they basically said "oops, we're sorry". I wasn't happy but I didn't blame them entirely as I took personal responsibility that I should have known my benefits and what they would and wouldn't cover. What really upset me was my last experience. I cracked a crown off while eating so I went in for an emergency appointment at which Dr. Kahn took good care of me, setup an appt. with a specialist and gave me a 7 day prescription of amoxicillin for the gum swelling and to prevent infection. Everything was going fine until 10 days later when something I ate extremely irritated my gums and caused them to swell up over my other teeth. I called at 4pm on Friday and asked to speak with Dr. Kahn. I ended up speaking with the manager who acted more like a gatekeeper than someone who cares about their patients. After going back and forth for 10 minutes trying to answer her dental lingo questions like "is this for #10 or #12" (which I admit I don't fully understand normally let alone when I'm in excruciating pain) all while being rude and irritated with me cause I didn't know the answers, she told me she would talk to him and get back to me before 7PM. She never called back so I ended up staying like that until Monday when I was able to set an appointment with my new dentist. As far as the dental work, Dr. Kahn and the rest of the doctors do a great job as even my current dentist stated but I cannot spend my money at an establishment that treats me like she did. I called to explain to Dr. Kahn why I was no longer going to be their patient but she would not let me speak to him directly. I left a message but I didn't receive a call back from Dr. Kahn so I have chosen to write my first review ever. I hope this helps you avoid any surprises. read more

Smile Town is great. They're reasonably priced, knowledgeable, and very capable but I think what makes them special is their heart. From my initial appointment to my most recent visit, every one has been very nice and professional. The assistants are helpful getting you settled in and comfortable. The dentist are very knowledgeable and explain what they are doing and why they are doing it so even this guy understood. Being nice and helpful are great but I would not be writing them a great review unless they delivered results. They have done multiple fillings, crowns, and root canals for me and I haven't had one issue afterwards. They have worked seamlessly with my insurance and I have not had one billing issue. read more

After my first appointment at SmileTown, I felt positively about it. The dentist and front desk staff were very nice. Following my first appointment, I made a treatment plan to fill a couple cavities. After I got the first cavity taken care of, I was in pain for months. I couldn't even chew on that side of my mouth for at least 3 months. I had also gone in to have my teeth whitened. The entire whitening treatment was completed by a hygenist- the dentist at the time popped his head in 2 or 3 times but never even so much as said hello to me. My teeth looked great! For about 3 days. After which, the white faded and they went back to looking exactly the same. I decided at this point to not continue going and to find a new dentist. Also, important side note, be wary of the positive reviews for SmileTown on Yelp. They are offering $15 off services if you write them a Yelp review. The woman at the front desk encourages you to write a review and to let her know first if you're going to write something positive or if you have complaints so that she can make sure they don't get negative reviews (she has previously gotten negative reviews on here). read more

One day while eating, I noticed one of my tooth in the back felt loose. I was freaked out, but was able to make an appointment for the next morning. My dentist was Dr. Julie Alagha, who was so friendly and personable. She wiggled the crown and it basically just fell out so easily. Bad thing was that it could not be salvaged and she explained my options to me. One option was to get a bridge (which she was able to do) or get a dental implant (she had referred me to a specialist). What I loved the most was that she kept telling me the best option was to go to a specialist, despite myself trying to go with the cheaper option. That's a true healthcare professional. She's in this profession for the right reason and I respect that more that I could ever express. In addition to her services, the women who work upfront are great at their job as well. Everyone here is so helpful. Definitely recommend this practice ! read more

This was my first appointment at this dentist. They had me come in same day after telling them I was having pain for a week. While other locations couldn't see me till mid or late July. Norma and Stephanie were great help and made me feel welcomed right when I came in. I recommend this location/dentist if you are having trouble finding/getting a hold of a dentist. I love this dentist! Everyone here is really sweet and helpful. I'm a big baby when it comes to dental work, and the dentist made sure I stayed comfortable. She knew my concerns and numbed me up real good. I had to have a tooth pulled and it took like two seconds, and I didn't feel a thing. She also filled my top front four to take care of some decalcification, so my smile looked prettier. I still have to get some major work done, but I feel comfortable having it done here. read more

Office manager Norma is AWESOME,she goes out of her way for you to make sure you are taken care of. Dental assistants are young,but not stupid.Not by a long shot. They're smart,friendly,and know how to do their job. My only beef is that their really good dentist Dr. Ned left. Dr. Ned was incredible. Extremely friendly,caring,efficient,and knowledgeable. He didn't make you wait for work (which most dentist do: "We'll make an appointment for you to come back 3 months from now for that problem.") Dr. Ned took care of you then and there,no questions. He also made those of us fearful of the dentist, relax completely with jokes,or small talk. I miss him! I went back because I was having problems with one tooth and saw their new dentist. She was nice but didn't have a clue how to help me and just gave me a referral to go somewhere else. Its been 3 weeks now and I still have not been able to have this worked out.That "other dentist" wanted to charge me an arm and leg,even with insurance,for a simple procedure! Dr. Ned where are you! I'll come back to this office but I'd rather see another dentist that has more experience. I bought the insurance policy that was supposed to give me a free x-ray and a free cleaning, and when I went for the x-ray and cleaning Dr Wish was no longer there, and a new dentist told me that I had two cavities and I would need a deep clean. They tried to sign me up for a care credit card to pay for my dental work that after all was said and done would cost me over a thousand dollars! I went to another dentist and he told me I had no cavities, and that I did not need a deep clean, and I walked out of that office for less than $200. I will never go back to Smile Town Dental, and I would caution anyone else to check the x-rays closely if they say you have cavities!!!! read more

They took an X-ray and determined that my tooth was fine and then I went to urgent care and it turned out to be a bad sinus infection. I was so impressed with them I referred my fiancé and him and I both went back 2 days later and got exams and cleanings. Everyone at the office was courteous and professional. Every time I called the office she promised to call me back with the answer, but never did. And when I called last time and confronted her about promised call backs - she hung up on my call.
