This place is horrible now! They are careless! I have been here about a year ago where they treated my daughter and used Nitrous oxide because my daughter had so much fear. It was great back then the dentist that was there and assistants were very great with her she had no pain during the whole procedure felt nothing not even the local injection! Which is why I chose to keep coming. Keep in my mind I drove almost an hour to come here for that reason because of how great the experience was. Fast forward now I had to bring my daughter back this week and this time the experience was horrible! The dentist that my daughter had apparently was new which at first my thought was fine I will just explain to her about my daughter's fear. When it came time for the procedure and the local injection was given my daughter screamed at the top of her lungs she felt the injection the Dentist instead of comforting my daughter she shushed her and told her she needed to stop and open her mouth! Completely uncompassionate of course my daughter was going to keep crying. They explained she needed a tooth extraction and the dentist while having my daughter screaming at the top of her lungs forced her instrument in her mouth and pulled her tooth and as soon as she pulled it my daughter started screaming and crying again told her to shush as she had her instrument in her mouth I repeatedly asked what was going on if she can feel it and my concerns were ignored she just went ahead and pulled it off. At the end I expressed how bad the experience was because my daughter had never screamed the way she did that day and they tried lying to me saying my daughter cried every time she was there and it was in their notes which was not true because the times I had brought her in she was very calm throughout the whole thing. So when I asked to see those notes and get a copy of them they kept saying they would provide me with them but never did I also asked who I can complain to and again it was brushed off. They refused to provide me with my child's dental treatment and records plus refused to provide me with information on where I can complain which as a patients parent I have a right to. They kept saying if I submit a complaint it would affect the owner of the place!

We have always loved the dentists and Maritza, but today my family was publicly embarrassed over an account balance in front of other patients and staff. I explained we were waiting on insurance because a similar situation happened before and we later received a refund check from the office. Instead of handling it privately, a staff member loudly demanded payment multiple times in the waiting area. My son has special needs and already struggles with dental visits and sensory regulation. This situation caused him to become overwhelmed and overstimulated. For an office that serves children, especially special needs children, I expected more compassion, professionalism, and respect for patient privacy. Today's experience unfortunately showed us that money seemed more important than treating families with understanding, dignity, and compassion. Be careful if you owe any small or large amount. Or if its been owed from a day ago or a week. You may end up being publicly humiliated in their open waiting area instead of being treated with dignity and privacy. I used to recommend this place to other families, but after today's experience, I no longer will.

They were super accommodating as my children were a little nervous and let them be in the same room together so I could be with both of them. The hygienists were very thorough and helpful. Even before our appointment they did all the leg work to make sure our insurance was on board with anything we would need, and they were awesome at letting us know what to expect for the appointment so i could coach my kids ahead of time. Dr. Loya was incredibly kind and informative. She helped the kids feel at ease and walked all of us through all her steps. She also gave me some tips for at home care, and commended the work we were already doing at home. I felt encouraged and supported. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist in the area.

Originally I was supposed to get my braces off in December. I did EVERYTHING as instructed by the doctor to do including going to appointments and wearing my rubber bands. However, a few times during my treatment when I had my appointment scheduled, they would call me telling me that the doctor will not be available on the date of my appointment so I need to reschedule it. I rescheduled the appointment because they needed to and when I would show up to the rescheduled appointment the doctor would tell me to stop delaying or moving my appointments because all I'm doing is prolonging my treatment. Each time I tried explaining to the doctor that it was them that needed me reschedule because of the Doctor being unavailable, THE DOCTOR WOULD NOT LISTEN TO ME AND WOULD TALK OVER ME!!!!!!!!!... all due to poor communication I feel like I was given an unnecessary extension on my treatment only to pay them more money from my insurance and feel like I was treated unfairly. My Mother in law would have to drag me in for even a cleaning. However after having a good amount of pain recently I had no choice and after reading some reviews I decided to try Dr Julie Glud. With My son accompanying me to make sure I didn't run out, I went and found she and her whole staff were patient, understanding and made sure to do their best to make me feel comfortable. Today I went in for my first root canal WITHOUT being knocked out completely due to my fear and the whole time I was there I felt no pain, felt at ease and in fact relaxed. I left in such a good mood and my son and husband were completely shocked at how happy I was. I highly recommend Dr Julie Glud and her entire team! :)
