This is the worse dental office I have ever visited and I am 45! Number one, they do not value you as a customer and can careless about your well-being. I went in for the first time 6/10/2021 and during my initial consultation I was told I have an infection. I needed to have an extraction as well and decided to have it done right then. Some dentist will send you home with ANTIBIOTIC 1st but this one decided to skip it. This means, that it will take longer to heal... They didn't care! After the extraction, I was denied an appointment by JESSICA/JENNIFER I forgot her name. She's the Office Manager. I was denied PAIN PILLS AND DENIED ANTIBIOTIC for my infection. Over the weekend it got worse and I called the office since they are open 9am-2pm on Saturday. I left 2 messages. I went down to the office and they were closed. Monday I called and left 2 messages and they were open. NO call back no nothing! I am just not that important for them to return an emergency phone call I guess. JUST FOR BEING A PATIENT, SHOULD HAVE MADE ME IMPORTANT! I called today 06/15/2021 and asked for the office manager and Jessica/Jennifer, again bad with names. She decided to not tell me why they ignored my messages. Instead, she wanted to argue! She was loud in the phone and cut me off as I spoke. That wasn't lady like, it was disrespectful and tacky! She was hired to do a job and she FAILED! I will never respect evil people like her nor the childish disrespect so I disconnected the call and contacted my insurance to file a complaint. WHEN YOU SHOW POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOUR OFFICE GETS A COMPLAINT! I am also filing a complaint with BBB because her behavior is unacceptable and due to her being an ass towards me, I am no longer a patient there. My plans were to get Care Credit and take care of the rest of my oral issues. NOW IT'LL BE DONE SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THE STAFF ISN'T RACIST! There is NO REASON why I couldn't schedule an appt. while I was there. And NO REASON why she couldn't do the job she's hired to do and call me back! I have to say that the staff was nice, but that doesn't make up for the rude and uncaring dentist/ surgeon that did my tooth extraction. I Had a tooth extraction a few months ago, and it was a horrible experience. this was the second tooth extraction I've had in my life, but first time going to this dentist. I should have known how the procedure was going to go by the way that the dentist never even acknowledged my presence and looked like he was in a hurry going from room to room. This procedure was by far the most painful I've ever had, and was nothing like the first tooth extraction. The surgeon was rude and in the whole time said maybe a handful of words to me. I scheduled a dental appointment over a month ago, and shut up on the day of appointment 15 minutes earlier just to find that the doors were locked at 9 AM. I began to call the office and eventually had a call back. The girl what's from the doctors office saying that the office was close for the weekend because the doctor had an emergency, how convenient on memorial day weekend. She stated someone wants to have called me to cancel which nobody did therefore have wasted my time. pathetic business i went to them for 2 root canals & i was supposed to get braces... but they wanted me to decided between not finishing my root canals.. that my insurance only covers once a year... & paying $600 down for $4000 worth of braces then after i get my braces to then finish the final steps of my root canal.. my choice would have been made up by now had i not been treated like bullshit & abused from their main dentist.. whenever i would squeal or jump or raise my hand in pain he would huff & puff & use excessive force to push the needle into my gums to numb me to this day i think he damaged one of my nerves.. its hurts when i make certain movements... when i complained to the office staff they suggested i see a different doctor at their office.. so i did & when i tell you he did the exact same procedure the other (white) doctor did.. not to even play the race card but only because i forgot his name... i was in tears bcuz i felt abused & my insurance wouldnt let me go to another doctor.. even tho the second doctor made a giant gap in my root canal and it feels like it wears down every month., he treated me better than the first doctor did.. i wish i would have done my research i would have never came here.. when i recieved TERRIBLE customer service from the dental assistants i should have left then but i terribly wanted my migraines and tooth aches to go away i was desperate.. I have been in pain for two weeks with a bad tooth that needed to be pulled. I work graveyard so let them know that when I scheduled appointment. When filling out paperwork it said if you have to cancel same day appointment there would be a 50 dollar charge. Well working graveyard I explained I don't know until right before I get off if they will need me for overtime. They very arrogantly said well that was company policy. I spoke to the receptionist and made it VERY clear of what type of insurance . That assured me that they did accept it. I took the day off from work get to the office fill out all the paper work 20 min later "we are sorry we thought you had the other insurance". On March 28th, 2019, I visited to Smiles 4U Dental on Eastern to get extractions done. I was not greeted when I appeared at their front counter. I was told told to have a seat and someone would be with m e weel the two people that were working at the reception was on the phone and after 10 minutes of my looking at TV, still a random person waiting, I guess they allow people off the street to come in and look at TV because they didn't seem to interested in my being there. A third employee with a bewildered look on her face when she asked if I needed help, like what are you doing here? I replied that wasn't there to look at Television. The original two reception persons was not on the phone any more which really ticked me off for discarding my being there as important. In my opinion there customer service could stand vast improvement. I am thinking after discovering my insurance would not cover most of the services planned, I was discounted at that point and was worthless at least that how I was treated.
