I was referred to this office by family because at the time they did great work on their teeth, but…read moreit seems like every time I come into this office, they are having discussions about treatment plans with their finance person and NOT the patient; that to me is a serious red flag. Also, when I do have work done even though they know I have insurance and my insurance has great coverage and everything they perform on me is fully covered, somehow they seem to find some way to charge me for something, then later after I call my insurance to verify if that's even legal under the insurance rules, their office has to cut me a check for the money they claimed I owed them. It's a perpetual cycle of BS and I'm tired of their shady practices. This last time, I walked into the office with a complete print out of the services and treatments that my insurance covers, they proceeded to tell me my limit for coverage was 2000$, when the documents from my insurance showed 2500 in coverage. They also know my history with my brain and stroke issues and have been made aware of the potential danger of working on me without sedation, which is why my neurologist required them to sedate me to protect my brain from the stress of any procedures. They completely disregarded my neurologist request putting me in harm's way and then had the audacity to say if I want the sedation I would have to come out of pocket $750 up front, when I even showed them that my insurance covers sedation too if medically necessary and my neurologist said it was medically necessary to sedate me during any dental treatments. Also, when they were extracting a tooth the other day, they used my other tooth for leverage to pull it out, cracking my tooth and now if I don't take care of it, I'll end up with a serious infection again. They did this last time too to my front tooth, they broke my front tooth and then claimed that I needed a crown on my dime. That's just not right. They disregarded my doctor's requirement to work on me to preserve my brain health, continued to treat me, then tried to tell me after the workup on me that I owed them $450 that day for work I never received. I questioned the finance person and she said, "Well, the doctor recommends this work on you." Notice how she said recommends and they did NOT actually perform said recommendations. I should NOT have to babysit the dentist's actions and the finance person when getting treatment. They are constantly committing fraud with insurance, by double dipping in charges. I have had to have my insurance step in a explain to them that charging my insurance then turning around and charging me for the same amount is insurance fraud. That is a CRIME. Which falls under NRS 686A.2815, meaning that if they knowingly and willingly submitting false or misleading claims for insurance payment. NRS 631.348 is the dental-profession statute that can apply when a dentist submits a fraudulent insurance claim. And these crimes can carry up to 1-4yrs in jail plus restitution. They continue to pull this crap with their patients thinking no one will call them out on it. Well, I'm a different breed. Either conduct yourselves professionally and lawfully or face real consequences. Dentists who continue to operate in this fashion need to be held accountable. So, my recommendation is this, if you want to have your bank account ran sacked with BS charges, then this is the place for you. But if you're just trying to get your normal treatments without being harassed, and don't want to feel like you have to choose some expensive procedure based on their shady behavior, DO NOT come here. They seem more interested in double dipping to pay for their new office remodel then their patients' health or financial situation. This office seriously needs to be looked into their business practices, finances, and patient treatment. I'm tired of coming to a place that clearly could clearly careless about their patients.
