Anyways, I spoke to the Oral Surgeons Assistant and I only requested that I do not use laughing gas or Versed (Phyc drug that is a forgetter drug). She then said, "Okay". Took note of it and we were on our way to see the Oral Surgeon who absolutely just kept pushing me to take Versed. It was very embarrassing on her part from my perspective and I do not like when I'm being intensely pushed to take a drug I have no interest in taking. This doctors name was Satoko Hasegawa.

She also contradicted herself several times throughout our conversation, due to the fact that she is unable to own up to her own mistake, which has cost me extra fees. Dr. Reid is great and I hesitate posting this because of him. I hope he will find a new office manager soon who knows not only how to do her job, but how to speak professionally and treat people with respect.

It is a shame, because people are often scared and worried about seeing a dentist, and to be greeted that way may make them more uneasy. On Monday, I went into the office and the first thing I told Amanda the assistant was that the teeth next to the one that was taken out, hurt when drinking cold drinks. Amanda said she would tell Dr. Miller, but when he came in he seemed as though he knew nothing about it and proceeded to tell me I have a cracked tooth and an infection in the tooth near the one that he pulled. Three months ago when he pulled my tooth he struggled removing it and I even had him stop for a minute, because of the extreme pressure I felt. Prior to the tooth being pulled, the one next to it was not cracked and had not dropped. I told Dr. Miller that I was going to another place to address the missing tooth and after that he asked no questions, and there was no further conversation to address the infection. There was no concern. I had intended to continue with Tanyard after the procedure with a surgeon. It turned out that the doctor I was going to make an appointment with was out of the office. I didn't know how long it would take to be seen. I then called Dr. Miller to ask for antibiotics because I feared the infection would get worse. I was told to just take Tylenol, which I didn't understand how that would help the infection so I insisted that they ask him again. Amanda then gets on the phone and becomes extremely nasty and loud with me stating something like "you was just here and your tooth is already bothering you and you said you were going somewhere else." And then she started saying something like " I just wanted antibiotics, right." Then she went on to provide a testimony about Dr. Miller and his 17 years of experience. Amanda was not in the room when I had my tooth removed and hadn't even reviewed my file. I go regularly for preventative care with the hygienist who is very nice, and I had never heard anything about a cracked tooth. Amanda then went on to encourage me to write a review. My family and I will no longer be going there. I liked Dr. Miller and especially the hygienist, but I use to dread not having my mouth being worked on, but instead, I dreaded interacting with the front desk on arrival and departure, and when calling that office.

She has been treating patients for 7 years in middle TN. She has an exceptional staff that is willing to answer all dental questions. Very clean and upbeat office. Wilco dental offers coffee and water at check in. She is punctual so you won't have to worry about waiting in the lobby past your appointment time. Wilco dental has TVs on the ceiling so when she lays you back you can watch tv while she enhances your smile. Wilco dental excepts most PPO plans. They also have options for cash patients. I would trust my family with this dentist. If she can't do it for you then she will send you to the best in middle TN. Dr. Hayman, DMD is a general dentist that offers restorative treatment.

I dont like to write reviews like this but I am so floored about my interaction with this office I feel I need to warn other moms. I have 3 children that I have taken to be seen here... 2 of them had dental procedures and 1 had just cleanings. The care my youngest daughter received was traumatic to say the least. 2 different procedures and they both ended with infections and we had to seek emergency treatment elsewhere. My daughter had to have a spacer put in due to a tooth being pulled early (not from this office) and weeks after the metal spacer was put in, her gums were inflamed and bleeding. I brought her back to ask if maybe the spacer was put too far into her gums and I was told by the dentist no, she needed to brush better. 2 weeks after that we had to bring her back in and I had to insist that the spacer be removed because you could no longer see it due to her gums being so swollen. The Dr offered no apology, but instead seemed insulted that was pushing for the removal of the spacer. The second issue with my same 6 year old daughter was a filling that was done in their office. They suggested a metal crown should be used to prevent further cavities which we agreed. However, the original cavity was not fully removed before the crown was put on and a few months later my daughter was crying from pain when she was eating and saying there was liquid coming out of her tooth when she chewed... I took her to another office for an evaluation and she had an infection in her tooth so bad that they had to pull it because the cavity had rotted her tooth under the crown!! After all of this, the billing department ran the wrong insurance (an old card on file) and when I asked if they could please submit using the new plan, they said they would, but I could never get anyone to follow back up with me to let me know it was completed. My new plan had better coverage. I then received notices (via text only from a robo number) saying that I had an outstanding balance after I paid over $700 for one appointment for ONE child (WITH INSURANCE)... I called the office to ask what the outstanding balance was and was told it was $46,which I paid. Then a week later I get a notice from debt collection for a balance over $250!! I have NEVER paid so much for dental work for my kids WITH insurance in my life. When I called to ask the office about this charge, (from almost a year ago) the woman in billing was incredibly rude and condescending. As I was finishing my questions she literally talked over me for so long that I had to yell "excuse me!" so I could get my question out. She was very defensive and agressive with me and I can assure you I was not putting her in a position of defense. I was calmly asking for clarification on my balance. The only saving grace of this office is the sweet dental tech who takes the kids X-rays. She is amazing and I loved her. Bottom line - the treatment seemed good, but that proved false as time went on and everyone of authority in this office seems to have a problem being questioned by the very people they are supposed to be serving. I wish I never stepped foot in this office.
