My son and his whole family see Dr. Horecky and have bragged to me for years how happy they have been with his care. Dr. Horecky and a super nice assistant made a special trip into the office to help me. They were able to remove the remaining tooth structure and get me immediate relief from the discomfort. His technique and style was definitely 5 Star and after 45 years of Dental practice, I know good care! To top it all, they made room for me to come in the following Monday to make me a temporary replacement to get me through the remainder of my trip. I couldn't recommend a Dental office more highly! BTW, this office is beautiful and has all the modern equipment.

The staff are so friendly, and Dr. H is super down to earth. Amanda is my hygienist, and she is phenomenal. Even though she only sees me twice a year (normally), she remembers who I am and what is going on. She also never tries to ask me questions while her hands are in my mouth, which is awesome. She gives a great cleaning without supplying a bleeding mouth to go along with it. Dr. H has done some filling replacements (out with the metal and in with new pearly whites) and I have always been thrilled with his work! They were very kind about my ridiculous fear of needles and took it at my own pace during the procedures. He also filed one of my front teeth down to make it straighter (it wasn't much, but it makes a huge difference in my smile confidence)! If your allergic to dogs, be careful. They do have an office dog (Molly) and now an office fish (Ollie), but both are well behaved (and adorable)! The office is always squeaky clean, they have fresh coffee, and they often have drawings for cute gift baskets! VISIT THEM!

His office is conveniently located on James Island and appointments are not a painful experience. I unfortunately have State insurance through my employer meaning my dental plan is for the birds, but Dr. Probst offers a discount to help lessen out of pocket expenses. We finally decided to look for a new dentist and I found Dr. Miller and his office online and then got a mailer from them the next day. So we called and made appointments for the next week, expecting the worst. We were extremely surprised. The office is very nice and the people, including Dr. Miller, are even nicer. There was no lecture, they laid things out for us and prioritized what we needed to do, and the communication is great. My hygienist, Alexis, is fantastic. I had a lot of deep cleaning done and didn't feel a thing and she let me know what she was doing and why the whole time. We got written quotes on the work we needed and were told to just let them know when we wanted to proceed. That was refreshing. Their technology and equipment are state-of-the-art which makes things very comfortable and easy. I was told I needed an in-depth tooth cleaning when in fact, I only needed and wanted a yearly routine cleaning. This dentist also advertises teeth cleanings as being $69.00. I informed the dentist's office that I could not afford that due to losing my job and my budget being tight. I was very clear in stating I only wanted a routine cleaning. The dental hygienist falsified my records and claimed I had an extensive in-depth cleaning that cost over $200.00. I paid $136.00 out of pocket for a treatment I did not want nor receive. When I called the office to request a refund, the office clerk argued with me, telling me I had an in-depth cleaning, that my x-rays showed blah blah, and that she is unwilling to remedy this situation. As a grown educated woman, I do know the difference between a routine cleaning and an in-depth procedure. Being patronized only irritates me more. Sometimes I forget that these so-called healthcare professionals are businesses first and foremost. They are no different that carpet sales people and will try to sell you anything to make a profit
