She's empathetic and up front. The clinic covers almost everything and it is SO nice to have one place to go instead of having multiple providers. I love that they are supporters of the LGBTQ+ community and emphasize mental health. It's just an incredible place. I feel so fortunate that I have finally find a provider (and office) that aligns with what I need in a provider. I cannot say enough about this wonderful staff. Everyone is on point and so friendly. I feel like a part of their family when I walk through the door. The gals up front always welcome me (by name!) and with a smile, making me feel like I belong there (and I believe I do!). They make me feel right at home and I always look forward to seeing them. Stephanie is so kind, compassionate and adept. She offers a multitude of services from general healthcare to alternative practices (acupuncture, needling, etc). I love her holistic healing approach and that she speaks my language (meaning she hears what I say and knows how to take care of me!) And then there's Mariah. She is an amazing physical therapist and so patient with me when I forget to do my list of "chores" (ie: exercises). She has been working me over (in a good way!) on a regular basis for some time now. She's spunky and fun (who thought PT could be fun?!). And she keeps on trying when I come in crying (which I don't actually do but sometimes feel like I could). I feel so fortunate to have all of you in my life. With the influx of us new Idahoians, doctors and dentists are booked to the gills and not accepting new patients. Bad for me and my pooch. I thought all the Primary Health centers I saw across town(s) were urgent care only. After doing a lot of internet searches, found out you can get regular check-ups, too. I really like Dr. Hayton, he took time and asked lots of questions during our first visit - it was really thorough. I started developing health issues lately - assuming because of my age, and my previous doctor kept ignoring or putting off my concern. Dr. Hayton is following through and now I may actually find out 'what's my problem'. Never been to a DO before and I asked him to explain it to me. He did. As I said, if you are new to the area, you will have a tough time finding a primary care doc. Dr. Hayton's office is far from my home, but I had no choice. Being from CA, far is 40-50 miles. Far in Idaho is 10 miles. Cracks me up. The front desk (I spoke to two: coming and going) seemed to be pre-occupied or in a fog. Either they don't want to be there or the job may be too much for them. I know, I'm making assumptions, but I walked out not having much trust in them.

If it's more, then they will send you a bill, or you can pay before you leave with a discounted price. I've gone twice this year. The first, I owed more, but they couldn't decide how much I owed. Couldn't figure out the discount. Told me that they were "fried" and wanted to go home while they were figuring out what I owed. They charged me wrong and I got a bill for it. They didn't honor their mistake and I had to pay more. THEN, my husband went in for an ear infection. They did nothing special, he paid $200. Said they'd call him when the doctor put in the notes how much the visit would be. They never called. I called billing and they told me that the visit SHOULD be $144. That we'd get a refund of $56. I waited a month. I called in again and they told me the amount was actually $201 and that they were nice enough to shave off that dollar. For a 5 minute visit to prescribe antibiotics??? And the billing person had absolutely NO idea what was happening. Explained that there were no notes, but then told me that the amount was $201?? This whole place is a scam and is perfectly happy to steal your money.

Then my Dr calls me a week later to tell me he got some results, but he only got 1 lab result out of the 17 that were ordered. Again, maybe a mishap. I can overlook that. My problem is when I called to find out why my Dr wasn't getting all of the results, I got attitude from the woman on the line. That's where I have the problem and hence the stars in my review. I did nothing wrong. Nor did my doctor. But to give me attitude because I'm asking where the results are (that you incorrectly billed me $1000 for) is ridiculous. Please enlighten me on what I did wrong to deserve attitude. Don't worry, I'll wait.

My new doctor took her time going over my information and history, never rushing me or treating me as an annoyance, and by the time I left we had outlined a plan and settled on referrals to follow up on my needs. As an adult, I did not want a family practice doctor as my PCP, by choosing an internist I am not forced to sit in a waiting room full of sick kids or littered with toys and such. I've been going here and seeing Dr. Heidi Chasan for about 10 years now. Not only she is a…read moreknowledgeable Doctor, but also a great listener who values your opinion. She delivered my two children under two quite different situations. With one, I ended up with epidural, and with the other, I did all natural without any medication. She is very open and accommodating with your plans and decisions, but also informs you with what you need to be aware of. I've heard of some scenarios where doctors try to lead you towards getting unnecessary procedures done to make things go faster for their own sakes, but in both deliveries, I couldn't have asked for a better doctor who supported me and respected my decision the way she did. Overall experience at the Woman's Clinic has been great. The other staff including the nurses seem very friendly and efficient as possible. I did have couple of instances where I had to reschedule after I got there because of some emergency delivery my doctor had to attend to, but I would say this was understandable. Some things are not foreseeable. And as a patient, if I needed an emergency attention, I would appreciate my doctor's quick response and other understanding patients very much.
