Chris helped me out with my water hose to make it a heated hose and set it all up for me. It's very close to everything and within walking distance if you need it.

They let me move in without saying anything about the deposit. I asked owner for advice on how to attach sewer hose. I was going to do it. He began to fix hose but said he needed another elbow. I Went get it, wrong one. He said he found one in his RV at the park and proceeded to attach the hose. He then began to fix the water hose and heat that I was going to do myself. Hose was to long. I need to go back store get smaller one. No, he would fix it and put a nozzle on it and cut part of my water hose off and attached a nozzle. He said you cant get people in Henry county to help . I said I know and proceeded to tell me he would charge me for the 2 parts. I said thank you. I did not know he was going to charge me. Next day, sends me text which I did not get because my flip phone does not have a ringtone alarm. I was not ignoring him. He wanted 15.00 for the nozzle and used sewer drainer. my hose was cut and I lost 10.00. I give you 5.00. he got pissed. started ranting that my RV needed to be removed today. and will charge me 40.00 a day. and electric deposit needs to be paid. I don't have it. you need to be gone by evening. -I don't have anywhere to go. If you don't leave, I will call police you trespassing. I said that is illegal. I paid for a month. They called the police on a civil matter. Please don't go to this RV park.

Floyd/Blue Ridge Okey KOA Holiday, PLEASE READ: We have stayed at many KOA campgrounds over the…read morepast several years, so we understand the differences between a Journey, Holiday, and Resort. Unfortunately, our experience at KOA Floyd/Blue Ridge Parkway has been extremely disappointing. This campground is the furthest thing from a KOA Holiday that I have ever experienced. Our site is essentially a dirt lot with some grass. We have full hookups (water, sewer, and electric), but that's where the "Holiday" experience ends. The nearest garbage receptacles are an extremely long walk from our site, the laundry facilities are also a considerable distance away, and there are virtually no amenities that justify this campground being classified--or priced--as a KOA Holiday. When I asked the gentleman at check-in what qualified the campground as a Holiday, his response was, "We were just approved to be a Holiday, and we'll be adding amenities." If that's the case, then the campground should not be charging Holiday rates until it actually offers the amenities and experience that define a KOA Holiday. Advertising a future vision instead of the current reality feels misleading. They also did surge pricing for a festival that was taking place. We had no idea and we were not attending the festival and if they were going to do surge pricing, they should've said that on the website when booking the reservation, but they didn't. We basically paid $100 a night for a dirt lot. I also contacted KOA Customer Care to explain my concerns, but I was disappointed by the lack of interest in addressing the issue. After years of traveling and staying at KOAs across the country, this is the first time I've felt so let down by both a campground and KOA's response. I hope KOA takes a closer look at how this campground is being represented so future guests know exactly what to expect.

We cancelled a few weeks before our reservation, and we would have canceled earlier, but when my wife called to cancel the guy she spoke to said he would call back then refused to answer her phone calls for multiple days if the call was from my wife's number. The only way I could get through was to borrow a friend's phone. After getting through he agreed to refund our money and when I saw the money hit our account I noticed he kept $300. This is after stating he would only keep one night's fee. I called to ask and he was extremely rude and hung up on me. Do not stay here as he's basically a thief.
