The food was catered and not off a menu which you would think would be easier to manage and faster. In my recent experience they brought us a bottle of water shortly after sitting but no glasses to pour the water into. 20 mins later we finally received glasses for our water after going to the bar and asking, only to be told that she was filling them. 10 mins later a basket of dinner rolls was brought to us with no plates to put them on. After another 10 mins of wonder if our meal was on the way, we decided to just start eating the dinner rolls. 15 mins later they came around with a cart and asked if someone wanted beef. I took the beef but the three ladies at my table preferred chicken so I paused to eat but figured with the delays that they wouldn't be coming soon and decided to eat. It took the sponsor of our event to tell the staff that there were three people at this table who needed a plate. By that time, I had already finished my meal, the server had taken my plate, and nobody was hungry anymore. We decided to go elsewhere for a meal after paying our respects to the family. Totally unacceptable for a catered meal to be so mismanged and delayed. I would not recommend this business to anyone nor return for even a free meal. You deserve better!

There are a few Holiday Inn locations in this Kentucky where I have found this happens. When you arrive and check in, this location will take a credit card for incidentals. Again, this happens at a few of the Holiday Inns I have stayed at in Kentucky. What I have liked so far about this location is that they have a breakfast menu in the elevator and they state that they give you two complimentary waters in the fridge. Since I am kind of wary about having a credit card on file, I am probably not going to take them. I feel like items in fridges are being weight monitored. The king standard room is nice. Tons of space towards the center of the room. 3/24/2026 Shower: The showerhead in the bathroom is amazing with a mist type setting. I am going to miss that. Breakfast: Pretty much top!!! They basically max out everything possible that one would want a hotel to throw at them. I am writing about, two types of omelets (white and folded egg, egg beater eggs), bacon AND sausage (not just one or the other, and not just the sausage patty, the actual good tasting sausage links), french toast, and delicious seasoned potatoes. Their wide array of teas is amazing, both caffeinated and decaffeinated options in the breakfast area. Do not be down if you only find two options of black tea in the rooms because of this. I grabbed like two of each in the breakfast area for whenever I want to drink them because I am almost always traveling. In the fridge, they not only have yogurts, but yogurt parfaits (although, they have no expiration stickers on them. I would like to see how they monitor these parfaits from going bad). I had taken one and it was so refreshing. I think this Holiday Inn location is killing it in terms of what an individual would want. I have not seen too many Holiday Inns with this elaborate of a breakfast setup. For the play areas, there is a smaller toddler area that's awesome. Small slights and things to climb on and this real cool bubble looking structure to climb into. It's big enough to keep them busy for a bit but eventually they'll want to go explore the "big kids" area. Next is an area with chairs to sit and eat snacks, parents to chill while their little play and there is an interactive floor that has a projector on it. You can step on graphics and they blow up. Pretty cool, kind of like a science center. Next is a big ball pit room! It has some crazy slides, TONS of ball, maybe a little deep for toddlers. There is a volcano like tower that normally would blast balls out the top but it's not very powerful and was barely working for us. The slides are pretty steep but very fun! While it's cool there are tons of balls, it's really deep for some of the kids to get out of the stairs part cause it's so deep. After that there is a room with cannons that launch balls at an interactive screen. This would have been the coolest part but the cannons don't shoot hard enough and often get clogged if someone sticks a big ball in it. Last is a slide where you have to get on an inter tube with a hard bottom. The worker sprays soapy water on the bottom and you go down suuuuper fast then immediately STOP! This is because the floor at the bottom is rubber and it stops you way too quick. I watch many kids get whip last from this. I get it, cause there isn't much room if you didn't stop but man it can be rough if you aren't expecting it. Other than that there are corridors with cool parkour type obstacles and things to jump on. Very fun! There are also snacks and waters to buy, the bathroom are in another room with plenty of space and they are family bathrooms. Also a good space that's away from the rest in case a kid is over stimulated. Great place! Great value since it's all day long! Way better priced than similar players in Louisville.

There is plenty of indoor seating for parents to keep an eye on the littles. As an extra perk they have the riding animals and the kids love going through the mall on them. For a full day of indoor play the price is not bad at all. My only suggestion is that they had free wifi so I could work on my computer.
