Cannot express how horrible of an experience both personally and professionally I have received…read morewith this company. I am an owner of 4 large breed dogs, the oldest of which (12) is deaf, high anxiety, and skittish and fearful around new people. Because of this it has always been told and known that there is one sitter he knows and is comfortable with. I always make a note as well to request this sitter. (He has no history of fear aggression, but I am very careful about the situations I put him into) Before going away this last time I double checked my booking and saw that the sitter was changed (without notifying me) to someone who not only has never met any of my dogs, but has never been into my house and does not know the routine. I understand plans change, but there is no reason why I should not have been notified. Not only would this have been horrible for my dogs, but also sending a stranger into a situation with a highly fearful dog is just not safe or smart as a business owner. I messaged the owner Jodi about this and she promptly deleted my client profile and said I 'rage messaged her'. I attached screenshots of my messages through the app and her response text message to me. Every time I have spoken to or interacted with Jodi she has been either rude or unprofessional so unfortunately I cannot recommend this company.

There is no other Pet Sitting company we would use. Jodi and crew are absolutely the best and our 2…read moreGoldens love them. Don't bother looking any further..

Both dogs love Rover Oaks and the people who work there. They go running inside like they are going on vacation. The staff make an effort to put each dog in with compatible dogs. They also send us pics and reports every day that we are gone. I'm thinking the more negative reviews on here are either old or unusual occurrences because we are very happy with this business.

When we have him boarded, we pay for the large executive suite, even though our dog is only 10 pounds. Money has never been an issue when it comes to our dog. I have been happy with their service, but that changed a few weeks ago when I took my dog there to have him groomed -- an appointment I made about a month before. I received a text from them that said his appointment was at 9 a.m., and I walked in at 9:02. The woman at the front desk was snippy and said they were going to charge me a $20 fee because he was late. I said, "The text said that his appointment is at 9." She told me that it was 9:02, and if the appointment is at 9, that means he needs to be there before 9. She bragged that someone came in one minute late the day before and they had to pay the fee. I honestly thought she was joking. I assumed the owner didn't know how they were treating good customers, so I asked if he was there and if I could talk to him. He came in and was immediately rude and aggressive. I calmly mentioned that I was two minutes late and that we have been coming there for years. I thought he would at least apologize and say, "I understand how you feel, but it's our policy." It still would not have made it right, but I would have at least felt heard. Instead, he was extremely emotional and told me that he had already called another customer to come in because I was late. He kept telling me how much my being late had inconvenienced him. I said, "Well, I'll pay the fee, but I don't plan to bring my dog back in the future." He began to scream at me, and told me to take my dog and that he wasn't going to groom my dog. I tried to de-escalate the situation. I was in shock and didn't know what to say. I couldn't believe this was really happening. I was in disbelief that a business owner would act this way. I stayed calm the entire time, but he continued to throw a fit. I asked him to go ahead and groom my dog, and he told me that my dog would be the last one out since he was the last one there. I almost said, "I thought you called someone else to bring in their dog," but I didn't. I said that was fine. The most upsetting part is that ever since I picked up my dog, he had been shaking and extremely skittish. We are worried about how he was treated while he was in their care. Needless to say, we will never take him there again. I've never written a negative review before, but I do not want others to go through what I did. I wish I could give less than one star.

I asked if I can bring him in right away. They said, "We can't fit you in. Sorry." I begged and said he might die. They did not care. They told me they might be able to fit me in the NEXT DAY in the afternoon. I slammed down the phone and said I'd never be back. I called Wedington Animal Hospital, and they didn't ask any questions. They said to bring him in IMMEDIATELY. I did, and they saved him. He was there for a couple of days, and they made sure he would recover and be OK. They will always be our vets as long as we live in this area. Hamish loved the people, and he's now 12 years old and as feisty as ever. Thanks for taking care of our little guy, Wedington Animal Hospital. You are the place we always recommend to people who ask for references. I was talking to her coworker about something not even worked related because we heard the conversation. When we were finally greeted the woman asked if we had weighed our dog. I've never weighed my dog in my life myself when I've gone to a vet, so I thought it was weird that they even expected us to do that. Just overall not a good vibe when we got there and no not didn't even do the appointment.
