Upon inspection, the UV Alarm & the Compressor Alarm Pressure Switch were not only off the whole time since built but had no wiring run to the main panel a few yards away. For a couple years they have serviced our system and not once did they address this fault to us. On top of this, their main logic board in one of the tanks was not sealed properly, allowing the board to begin corroding. It was also found that the fLastly, they have ghosted us (purposefully avoiding) in our attempts to get another service contract with them for reasons only we can speculate now seeing their mishaps. The only silver lining to this company (from our perspective) is that they installed a system for our home that is built over Black Jack Soil, which is very poor in percolation.

They came by to let us know what the issue was, then, after we had the flooring ripped up after a leak detection company marked off where it was, they came with the jackhammer and tore up our cement. Unfortunately, the leak wasn't where detection had marked it. I'm grateful Stephen was find enough to come in on what was supposed to be his day off the next day to continue after we took up the rest of the wood overnight. They did a great job at locating the leak, fixing it, explaining what might have happened to cause it, filling the hole back up and covering it with cement. We contacted 4 septic services in the Middle Peninsula for a septic pump replacement. One did not…read morerespond to our request. One provided us with an estimate for the job, but they had a call center in another state with no ability to reach the local office directly, and the communication delays were a problem. One service provided us with an estimate, but suggested an upgraded system that would more than triple the cost, and stated they could not warranty their work without it. We called Hogge's Septic Tank Service. Jess Hogge responded promptly to our call, providing us a reasonable estimate, and was consistently in contact with us during the repair process. This was a difficult repair on a system that was 40 years old, with multiple previous jerry-built pump replacements. Every few hours during the repair process Jess would hail me to come over to look at what previous teams had done to our system. He ultimately rebuilt the piping entering and exiting the new pump he installed. It was a beautiful job (for a septic system). Fair, honest, and dependable. Highly recommended!

This company is owned by a man named Donovan and professionally run by the one and only man who basically is the company, Ron. This is the second time I've had my septic tank pumped out and Ron at Shore Septic did the job both times. Ron is the most professional, knowledgeable and awesome guy with an incredible memory! He is clean and nicely dressed in tan shorts and matching shirt, and takes extra care in handling the aspects of the job. Ron was careful in digging the ground up to reveal the lid, and upon completion, every bit of dirt was placed back and tamped down, it will never be evident the ground was disturbed once the grass grows back over the square area. That was impressive and greatly appreciated. Ron spoke of a product called Septic Aid made by Environmental Biotech Intl and I was pleased he suggested this, as he is very educated on this product. Ron explained how this could improve my septic system, so one bottle went into the tank, and I bought a second bottle from him to use monthly to maintain the proper bacteria to improve flow. He offered a case of this product, and I'm positive I'll be texting him to get two more bottles of it soon.
