Bad experience for our college student…read more They did no visual evaluation and gave the impression they did not look at our dentists x-rays. I learned this after we flushed $235 down the toilet for their special x-ray. They require the special x-ray before they will do a root canal and it is not covered by our very good insurance. I give them credit for asking me to come back in for a better explanation for why they did what they did but it was post x-ray and payment. HOWEVER, our oral surgeon said he could tell it was an unlikely save based on his visual examination and our first dentist x-rays. They have a state of the art x-ray machine but if you go there ask lots of questions before the expensive and likely not covered by insurance x-ray.

The billing process was INSANE…read more Service was great , What I don't appreciate is the condescending lady in the billing department calling me back months later claim that I owe more money after I said politely that I would like to call the dental insurance to make sure there wasn't an error , Insurance told me there was no error. After i called back she was rude and condescending, Then claimed I owed over $179 from the prior $132. I politely ask her is there any way you can work with me and let me pay the $132 since that's what you told me it was at first . She's smartly replied well if you did just pay it the first time we would've known the difference . I said ma'am, I'm a disabled veteran and is there anything you can do to help me out today? She said I can divide up the payments So what you're going to do for a disabled military and put his life on the line for you to sit there and run your mouth , is divided up into payments. Terrible business practices Would not recommend anyone to go there and if you do make them sign something when you go to check out saying that whatever you pay them is the final payment or they will absolutely try to add more money later on down the road It should be illegal what they're doing in their billing Department . Absolutely shameful to treat a disabled military veteran this way

Green Hills has a very impressive office which houses problematic behavior and substandard work…read more Our teenage daughter needed some cavities filled. Not a pleasant experience for a young woman both physically and emotionally. Having heard wonderful things about Green Hills and having already had a negative experience with a dentist that tried to claim she had some unbelievable number of cavities, we had high hopes. Not only did my daughter leave in tears after her time with Dr. Erskin and being belittled for having cavities, one of the fillings fell completely out about 6 hours later. Had the work been even mediocre, one could chalk up borderline verbal abuse to a bad day, or a poor attempt to motivate a teenager to change habits. The combination makes one wonder why someone would be in this line of work at all. We immediately went to another dentist, our third within a week with our daughter whose nervousness was now bordering on panic attack. We were hoping to just get in, get the filling replaced, and get home as quickly as possible. The new dentist redid the one filling and was so appalled by the others that he stopped work and chatted with us a bit to gently warn us that she would almost certainly have more problems in the near future. I can't quite tell from the billing, but I believe he did some small repairs to the previous work without including it in our invoice. Also, he didn't make her cry, which was, sadly, a new experience for her. He warned us that at least one other filling had about 12-18 months in it (he mentioned something about a "ledge"). He tried to get her to come back in a couple weeks later but she was understandably over all dentists at that point. Sure enough, we are 4 days shy of the 1 year mark of the Green Hills work and another filling has fallen out because she had the audacity to eat pita bread. I'm no dentist, but I feel like a 1-year-old filling should survive the onslaught of a pillowy wheat substance. I suppose if you have thick skin and little concern for the quality of dental work, Green Hills is a fine choice. However, if you're not a fan of being made to feel horrible for needing dental work and would prefer fillings other dentists describe as "shoddy work" in an incredulous tone, maybe give Green Hills a pass.

On another visit, a hygienist came into the room while I was having a cleaning, joked that she just posted a picture of a patient on face book. She said don't worry, it wasn't you. I left the practice after the Facebook photo Definitely not the same office as when Dr Crain was there
