Total ripped off, A friend of mine told me to help him renew his registration so I thought since the car was a little old it might need a smog check. I should have read the paper before going to the dmv and it turns out the car did not need a smog check this year. I went to this shop and instead of telling me the smog wasn't need it they just proceed and did it anyway. Also they advertise 29.95 on their website is a total lie!! Thank goodness the proprietor offered my girlfriend an *instant discount* of $10 after I incredulously exclaimed "Jesus!" when he broke the price to us. Yes, it's totally legal to overcharge in America, but that doesn't mean you'll win high Yelp reviews! The high prices just make me wish that we'd woken up earlier. If we had, we would've visited Joe the "Smog Prodigy" on Burbank and Vineland. If you go to this Woodman shop, when you hear of the cost, my recommendation is that you scream bloody murder until the proprietor knocks off $10. If you need a smog check for your car, come here. Henry is fast, doesn't charge much, and will help your car pass it's smog test. One time he gave us a new gas cap for our car which helped us pass, and every time we go in he checks that all the sensors are functioning properly before testing the emissions. Fair, honest, personable business, and good at getting your car in and out. Even on the days we had to wait, it wasn't very long at all. He speaks a bunch of different languages and has a board in the office where you can sign a greeting from your home country. Great service and he'll send you off with a smile. read more

This is not a mechanic shop, smog only...your not going to go here and get ripped off and then have them try to sell you parts or labor, etc. This place does smog and smog only...as far as I could see. The guy who works here does a fantastic job. I was in and out in 10 minutes. He verbally honored the coupon from his website, all I paid was $40.00 cash. Bring CASH and make sure to mention the special. Ask around you cannot get a smog check+ dmv certificate, etc for $40.00, but you can HERE.
