Super easy process. The tech explains everything in advance so it was a quick and simple process. He explains all the paperwork and DMV submitting process. Recommend to call in advance to get an estimated wait time. SUV smog comes out to about $70. They offer 1 time retest if it fails. This is our go to spot. read more

The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. I get off work at 4pm and with traffic I can make it here around 4:30. When I arrived he was finishing up with a customer and had his last one for the day already lined up to go in. Once I mentioned I had been here before and I can't arrive sooner due to work, he offered to stay late to help me get the smog done. This type of service is above and beyond. Beware, he charges different rates depending on what type of car you drive. I brought in my truck and he quoted me =$70 because it was a truck. He called it a "Trucl/SUV surcharge" I questioned what was different with smogging a truck vs. car and his answer was "This has always been our practice". Easy to find, is in one of the bays at a gas station there. Really polite, explained everything nicely, was able to tell me if my out-of-state imported car had any issues instead of just failing me. Found a few non-OEM parts but they were identical in shape and function so it was ok. Consulted his mechanic friend at a garage next door, so really I was getting two for the price of one. I've smog checked here multiple times and it's always a great experience. The owner is friendly, direct, and upfront about his price and timing. He explains things clearly and happily answers all questions. He takes time to make customers comfortable, offering cold water and seating options, and also asks how much info you want to receive (full explanation or just the results). $60 for a smog test with free retest if needed. Both this year and last year I visited at an off-peak time (mid afternoon) and it was a super quick 15 minute process. Exactly what I'm looking for! read more

I have a 1998 car and had been told by other places that my car was quite a bit harder because it was made before 2000 and would take on the order of hours to smog check, so I was pleasantly surprised when he said he could do it in 20 minutes. My car had been stored for 2 years during the pandemic and needed a smog test. I showed up here at 9.30am in the morning, I received super friendly and incredibly efficient service. I am super impressed with this business. Highly recommended and I will be returning when I need a smog test again. My car did pass with no issues, luckily we must have stored it correctly and it had enough data in the onboard systems to give a decent readout. Took my car in for a smog check (out of state Vic); my interaction with the gentleman working there was pleasant. He was very attentive, courteous, and quick, but what prompted me to write the review was his interaction with the customer ahead of me... The customer did not pass the smog (due to aftermarket parts); the gentleman working here took him on the computer and showed him the paperwork he needs for the smog in order to pass, and offered him a free retest for when he gets his paperwork in order. In my opinion he went a little extra in providing some guidance and customer service therefore i highly recommend this place. read more

I have been to this shop in the last a few years for smog. This time I noticed an ownership change. Chatted with him a bit. He is very helpful guy. He is very observant and asked me about the service light. Not only did he do a good job with smog check, he checked my tire pressure and filled up to proper valve. This is a great service.
