My regular guy was closed yesterday so I tried this place and what a bad experience! It was early morning and the guy inside was rude and obviously didn't want to be there, I asked how much he asked make and model of car I told him and he said $70 which is way more than my regular guy. I was hesitant but I needed it done . When it was time to check out the guy in the office said $75! I told him NO I was told $70 and that's what I'm paying! So I payed the $70 and left! Be Careful! It was $73 total in December 2025 with a $15 off coupon. It's near the Auto Center freeway exit, conducive to warming up your engine on the way there. There were 2 cars in front of us when we went, and they still got us out of there quicker than most smog joints. Waiting room is clean, if stark. There's a bathroom if you need it. But man, the music was SO LOUD. Like, the receptionist was yelling over the music, "OKAY, SIGN HERE!" and when she grabbed the remote, I presumed it was to finally turn the music down. Nope. This place has five stars for a reason! I was in and out before I was able to finish a chapter of my book. Hands down the FASTEST service I've ever experienced. Friendly, efficient, thorough. They had multiple employees ready to jump in to ensure your car is handled with speed. Clean facility. Location is spot on. Anything car related always riddles me with anxiety, but they took the stress out of this. I will drive the extra miles to return here for my smogs. I ended up arriving here, due to my first initial stop being closed. Upon walking in the door, it took about a good minute for the guy behind the desk to acknowledge that I was there. Once the service was started on my car, ever owes completed in about 15-20 mins. There was also another young guy working in the shop who briefly kept me informed that my car would be pulled up shortly and we had about a minute concern around the weather that was showing on the television during that time. He then rang me up, explained which copy was mine and how soon they DMV would have the update and said have a nice day. Overall for what I went in for the time of the service was great. The customer service, well that's an area for improvement. But still a place to at least a smog completed. There is a small wait area with a telecast stayed and I did see a sign for a restroom and then another door connecting the shop to the office. I never write reviews but this is the least I can do. I have a 1996 Subaru Legacy. Many smog places turned me away because my OBD2 monitors would say "not ready" no matter how many miles I drove. They know their stuff and found a section on bar.ca.gov website that exempted my car from OBD2 sensor inspection. I only needed tailpipe sample to pass. They took their time on a Sunday (I DM'd them on Instagram) to look this up for me. Thank you for not making me have to throw perfectly good running car away.
