I was able to limp it to a gas station. The fan belt was shredded and wrapped around the fan. The next morning, called the Auto club, and picked Teedeeus Auto, to do the repair. The tow driver gave high regards to Teedeeus Auto, been around for over 50 years. Richard said they were pretty busy, and could get started the next day. It was a large shop with 8 work bays and I felt comfortable leaving the truck there overnight with the fenced in yard. Richard dropped us off at a car rental place, thinking we may have to drive home and pick the truck up in a few days. After getting the rental, run some errands, we went back and they were starting to work on it. The idler bearing stopped spinning finally tearing apart the belt. We had an emergency oil leak while driving from Los Angeles to San Francisco, about two hours outside of SF. We were not going to make it. We put in 5 quarts of oil just to keep the car going and barely made it to a Valvoline, but they couldn't fix the issue. At that point, we were stressed, running out of options, and preparing to tow the car more than 120 miles from Los Baños. By the grace of God, my partner found Precision Emissions Auto Repair. He called, and they told us to come in. On a Sunday, when we had been told no one was open, that alone felt like a miracle. We pulled in with oil still leaking, and from the moment we arrived, they took care of us. Steven, Joseph, and Jesse were kind, calm, and incredibly professional. They quickly diagnosed the issue as a damaged VVT-i oil line hose and got to work right away. What really stood out was how much they cared. They were supposed to close at 4 PM, but stayed more than two hours late just to make sure our car was safe and we could get back on the road. That meant a lot to us. They also made sure we were okay while we waited. They brought us inside, let us sit in the AC on a hot day, and even offered water and snacks. It may seem small, but in that moment it meant everything. Coming from LA and SF, we can honestly say this was the best service we've ever received. The fact that they showed up for us like this on a busy Sunday made it even more special. If you're anywhere nearby and need a mechanic you can trust, this is the place. Good people, great work, and genuine care. We're truly grateful.

Paid to have gas take changed and light was still on. Was told I needed new coils and fuel injectors along with manifold. Made all suggested repairs and car still had misfires and now manifold error. Took back for another round of repair diagnostic said that had low compression on two cylinders they suggest new engine. So after paying of $6000 on car repairs to be told that I now need a new engine. I was very disappointed in the outcome of waisted time and money. I don't believe German cars are their strength so I would suggest not allowing them to service the car beyond an oil change.

Amazing service! My…read moreson was driving to So. Cal to spend a week with his brother before the brother got married. Just a carefree week of bachelor brothers hanging out. He was supposed to drive there on Saturday and get to So. Cal before dark. However, he left after dark. He passed Los Banos (Route 33 exit) close to midnight and his engine started running really rough and it was losing power. He limped to the next exit, at less than 25 mph, turn around, and come back to Los Banos. We picked him up around 1:30 and got back home at 3AM. At 8AM (Easter morning), we started calling mechanics in Los Banos. Of course, we used Yelp and sorted by ratings. We went down the list and left messages for everyone. We just prayed that someone would be willing to work on a holiday. Jesse was the only one who answered the phone. We explained our predicament. He agreed to help if we could get there by 10. He had a family picnic planned. My son's car was parked about 2 miles from Jesse's shop. We were able to get it running and over to the shop before 10AM. Jesse found the problem, was able to obtain the necessary parts, and had the car fixed in about 3 hours. He charged a very reasonable amount. My son made it to So. Cal before dark (a day late), and Jesse still got to spend the rest of the day with his family.
