Smoke-N-Chill employee is unpatriotic and hates US Military Veterans! If you are a fellow veteran, don't waste your time or money with this business. For the past several months I have been regularly buying my e-juice and cardomizers. At lest twice a week. The staff has always been cool and chill... The 2 times I had an issue with a $5 cardomizer not working, they replaced it no problems... it would make sense that they would simply give you a new one, especially since I've spent several hundred dollars since I began coming here. Last Thursday I bought 4 more and I discovered today that one of them was faulty. So at around 9:45pm tonight, I stopped by to buy 4 more and after I asked for them, I took out The Cardomizer that was broken and explained to the employee with the shaved head the problem with my last cardomizer and he said, "Well dude, we aren't the manufacturer and we don't replace anything that we sell that winds up being faulty." Mind you, this same dude has replaced one in the past for me when this issue occurred and we've talked enough times in the past that I've shared my veteran status with him on more than one occasion. Then he asked if I still wanted the four and I said yes. As I was about to pay the $21.44 for the 4 new ones, I asked him what happens if none of them work. He then proceeds to say, "my bosses have made it clear that we won't replace anything and as a matter of fact, I don't like the questions you are asking me, you can leave now and take your business elsewhere because we don't want it here anymore. I calmly replied that I really didn't understand what was going on and he told me to leave. So I left and as I was getting in my car, he locked the doors 10 minutes before they actually closed. The girl who is his co-employee and who has also replaced one in the past due to the cardomizer not working didn't say a word during the entire interaction. So my issue is simple... If you sell and mark up cheap products that have a history of occasionally being faulty, then isn't it worth replacing and fixing the issue, rather than making it a HUGE deal and throwing away the hundreds of future dollars that you won't earn from my business because of some power trip stuff? Also, if you are the owner and are reading this, I'd suggest you visit your shop and access your security camera so you can verify everything I have said here... Because chances are high that the dude you have working for you, is throwing away thousands of dollars in future customers who might not have even cared enough about your future success to take the time and write a review like the one I just wrote about this issue. And I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and remove this message if we can come to a resolution that makes sense... Otherwise, your non response tells everyone who reads this message that the first statement I made is factual and true. read more

Very disappointed in this shop! My husband has purchased several items and Not 1 has worked. We are believers in mistakes happen and giving second chances, but damn man!!!! This has happened 4 times and every time not 1 working item. These people are smart they know that they are selling TRASH, so they have a No Return Policy. Our experience with this shop today was excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Their assistance demonstrated deep knowledge of the products and they were friendly and engaging. I bought a product that was a little pricey and when I got home, it turned out to be of lesser quality than I expected. Although I'd lost my receipt, I called the shop and spoke with Mike. He investigated my options, called me right back, and helped me make an exchange to a vastly better version. The whole experience was exactly what one hopes for in any retail exchange. They sold me a counterfeit Grenco G-PRO!! Didn't find out until the mouthpiece broke after a couple uses. Found out when the factory mouthpiece replacement didn't fit right. After the manufacturer *verified* it was counterfeit, I contacted these guys to let them know. They admitted they had a bad supplier and this had happened and yet the best they offered was 15% discount on my next one? Selling counterfeit, trademark and patent violating knock-offs is a felony and its bad for business but hey, I'm thinking maybe they got screwed too. But the one start is for not even coming close to making it right. Hell the manufacturer gave me 40% for my trouble and they had nothing to do with it. I purchased a KangerTech Subtank Nano from the store on Brodie Ln on Saturday. Sunday morning, before I could even get through one tank of juice, it fell from my couch to my carpeted living room floor and it literally broke in half spilling juice all over the place. It was not a big deal until I realized that what actually broke was the metal cylinder that protrudes from the Tip Connector broke off, clearly a result of defect. I've had a Subtank Nano for months now, I've dropped it several times out of my car and onto the street and it is still as strong as ever. I went back to the store this afternoon to attempt to exchange it for another that was not defective, and the clerk confirmed it was broken, and despite my recount of what happened, he implied I wasn't telling the truth about what happened and that there's no way that piece can break because he's never seen it happen before. I insisted he call his manager, and the manager supposedly told him there's nothing they could do other than offer a discount on another one. I paid $50 for a tank that broke in less than 24 hours -- not from misuse, but because it is defective, and then was accused of lying about what happened. I will never return to that store, and I likely will not return to any of your other stores. I've been a customer for years and never walk out of there spending less than $100 and will be taking my business elsewhere. I can probably find the part online and purchase it, but the service I received, and your policy of no returns even if the product doesn't work for me. I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

I've only been to a few e-cigarette stores in Austin as I tend to do most of my shopping on lines; so I thought I would give a local merchant a try. First of all, being that I'm middle aged going into a shop that was predominantly manned by younger adults I expected to wait a while - I didn't. The staff was courteous - but that is where it ends. I asked several questions as to e juices in stock as well as what type of equipment was on hand. The staff's knowledge was fairly current. When I asked about all VG fluids and that they stocked and mixed custom flavors - I was momentarily thrilled. I pointed to a print out on costs and said what I wanted. The clerk did not explain that VG were 2x that price! So for a bottle that was 'store listed' for around $7.99 for a 10 ml bottle, I paid $15. Being that he mixed the juice, I went ahead and paid for the two flavors, but mentioned that I would not be back as I pointed to the print out and he didn't explain it was for PG/VG mixes only. He didn't try to fix the situation, nor do I want to waste my time and money on people who do not listen when I made it clear I wanted what was their special. It should had been explained at that time prior to mixing that VG was an additional price. Which makes no sense as food grade vegetable glycerin is cheap and can be purchased locally. Since this incident, I've ordered my flavors from Phantasm Vapors and now am mixing my own e juice. The store does contain a good inventory of flavors, brands and other smoking and gifts items. read more

They made fun of me... when they were giving me conflicting info, I saw the product I wanted & excitedly pointed it out. Got a broken puff bar from there straight out of the package and wouldn't even do an exchange

Bought a $40 water pipe and didn't notice black resin inside the mouthpiece until I got home. So I decided to clean the pipe with alcohol. After letting it soak for about 20 minutes, I rinsed it with warm water and all the paint scraped off. I went back within an hour of buying it to try and exchange it since my product must've been defective. Well apparently there is no return policy and it happens often if you wipe the pipes with alcohol. So come to this place if you want a cheap, low quality product. read more

The employee working this morning, 9 July 20, was very disrespectful and rude, including using profanity. short story, daughter did not have her ID so mom attempted a purchase. they were accused of an illegal purchase for a minor in a very rude manor. Seriously, who takes the minor with them when making an illegal purchase? When they called to speak to a manager about the employee, he answered, claimed to be the manager and told them to "F@ck off", twice. I love this smoke shop not only is it right over the hill from my house but all the employees are professional and knowledgeable iv probably met and talked to everyone of them I don't vape but probably have an interest in all there other products and with great prices and a massive selection this is definitely my one stop shop I would usually be willing to travel just about anywhere in s.Austin for a selection like they have so don't waste your time going to other shops or if it's out of the way definitely consider making this trip you will not be disappointed read more

Opened it to find out it did not fire correctly. Called the store not more than 15 min after and they said since it was opened they couldn't do anything for me. This is absolutely the worst ecig store in Austin, Texas! The "girl" that works there just screamed at me for 5min due to me trying to get clarification on my Star points! I am not joking. She yelled at me and said every time I come in I'm rude and have too many questions. As I buy only oil from there, I believe she is very confused as Who I was. I have tried to avoid this place due to the way Ive seen them treat other customers. Today I was on the receiving end of their customer service hate. The manager/owner "Ali" supposedly was there in the office with the door open. He failed to come out even though he heard his girl screaming at the top of her lungs at me! You would think as the manager/owner he would at least be curious as to what was happening in his store? They may have all kinds inventory but I hope no one buys any of it in the future. My recommendation is to avoid this place at all costs! Or you may be next and subject to a screaming woman behind the counter and her boyfriend saying "all right just calm down honey". There is absolutely NO excuse for this kind of behavior on their part. My money will spend just as well somewhere else and I hope yours will too! Spread the word about this place! This place is horrible. The cheapest scums you will ever meet. We have given him $300+ in business and they treat you like crap. We bought $5 hookah coals from them which ruined two bowls of our hookah cause the coals were old and would not burn so would make them taste coaly. The guy is rude and tells us he will not take it back cause his manager is not there. We tell him we just want to exchange it and are in there all the time.. we don't even want a return and will buy more expensive coals and will give him more money for it. He finally calls his manager and tells him we want to RETURN the coals when we clearly tell him we want to exchange them. He said he isn't going to do anything about it cause we opened the package and they can't do anything with the coals. Guess it was worth losing 2 valued customers as well as all my friends who go there over $5. read more
