We said ok, and she decided to go forward with opening the humidor. She did not want us to enter and instead asked for us to look from the outside. We were two black men. I then proceeded to request cigars and we went to the counter. My friend was getting very angry because of the fact that she had been staring us down since we walked into the establishment and it was clear that she thought we were going to rob her. We left the humidor and my friend then proceeded to tell me everything that she did, which I did not completely notice. I thought she was acting weird and it seemed that it made no sense for the humidor to be closed but not the rest of the store. After talking to my friend, he wanted us to take the cigars back to the shop and take our business elsewhere. When we got back, which we had not walked far from the store (in the parking lot), she refused to accept the cigars. This is when I realized that we had been profiled. I then proceeded to tell her where I live (across the street). She walked away mid conversation. Not ever going to this establishment.
