Place sold me an empty N20 whip it tank and when I came back 5 minutes later to explain they refused to issue replacement or refund. Only offered to sell me an additional tank for 20% off. Asian guy was a complete asshole and I am positive that he is syphoning gas from the tanks in the back. Save you money and avoid this place. There is way better smoke shops in the area. Still came through with a stellar replacement part to a piece I originally bought here as part of a set for my friend and I. John was awesome and truly went out of his way to take care of my needs!! His customer service was top notch compared to the last gentleman who helped me (no that the last guy was rude or anything that wasn't the case, but John knew his product better)! I truly look for shops that carry SB pieces so I don't have to drive all the way to PB but I have called from El Cajon to Downtown & as far north as Mira Mesa with no real luck. If you've been to PB, you know that smoke shops are a dime a dozen, and are EVERYWHERE, so it's really hard to know which trumps the rest. Well my friends, Smoke Zone does precisely that. The staff is helpful and always nice, and their selection and prices are great. We go here all the time we need new carbs for our "water pipes" and they have really bomb "water pipe" cleaner called Orange Chronic. For 6 bucks we also obtained a "sneak a toke" that is not only the shape, size and has the exact look of a car cigarette lighter, it also fits in said slot in your car in case you need to conceal it!!! If you need to clean your "water pipe," I suggest you buy the Orange Chronic solution and stop by the Dollar Tree to get a baby bottle cleaning brush. Here are the expert instructions I have comprised to clean your "water pipe": Take the brush and the cleaner home, cut the bristles down to almost nothing, put the solution in the "water pipe" and then stick the brush into the small hole and swirl the solution and scrub all the excess "tobacco" ;0) off of the insides of your "water pipe." I have tried many different methods and this has proven to be the most successful. read more

Oh Man. This place is horrible. The first time I came here... The only employee was talking on the phone non-stop. I just needed to make a quick paper purchase, and was standing at the register, obviously ready to make a purchase or speak to someone. I left after making eye contact a few times, and waiting about 1 minute. The 2nd time, I was accused of stealing... a $1 lighter, although I was paying over $20 in goodies. I love this place. I did have some issues with puff bars dying. (like everyone does) I switched to the bigger ones and they don't die as much. At the time, they puffs were dying so much that I should have switched to a shop that gave refunds. I didn't for one simple reason. THE STAFF IS AMAZING. So I have to say overall, it's a decent smoke shop. It has all the stuff you'd expect, vape juice, glass pieces, papers, etc. But I was sorely disappointed when they advertised a product they don't sell. Specifically the flavored Juul pods. They display the boxes of several discontinued flavors of Juul pods right next to the currently available flavors but they don't actually sell them. I believe it's a bad business practice that leads to customer disappointment to advertise a product you don't sell. It would be like In-N-Out displaying a a chicken sandwich next to a cheeseburger in their store, but not selling any chicken sandwiches. Despite this, it's still an okay smoke shop, I'd recommend it as much as any other smoke shop. Not worthy of a 1-star review, but definitely not a 5-star either. read more

Sooo, scary experience I had at this place. I went in cause I needed a lighter REALLY QUICK so I could light birthday candles. This place was the closest, I walked to the register and grabbed a cheap little 1$ lighter. The employee (Hope to god this guy wasn't the owner!) was with another customer at the glass case behind me. I waited for a while and he finally came around. I only had my debit card on me; so when I went to pay, the attendant rudely informs me that it is a minimum of a $5 purchase. That's fine, it's normal because most Credit companies charge at least 5$ per purchase. The other customer jokingly gives me one of his items. I didn't have anything else to buy in a smoke shop so I bought his item and my lighter. The attended kept talking but I wasn't paying attention to him, I was joking around with the other customer. Apparently he was getting very angry that I wasn't paying attention, he gave my card back and I handed the other customer his item. I turned to leave; the attended yelled at me that I needed to sign the slip. Oops! I forgot, I was in a hurry ok! He started cussing at me in the most horrible language. I was shocked. But being me, I nicely sign my name as "F*** Off" :-) on the receipt which probably wasn't a good idea. (I take responsibility for that...) The attendant grabbed my wrist and tore the recipe from me. Then started shouting the worst language I could have never imagined. I ran out to my car, to which he followed and jumped on the hood of the car and spit at my windshield. The guy running this shop is an absolute crook.... sold me some leaky cleaner and, with the same crap all over the bottle that he sold me he wouldn't give me another one.... his words, "i have no proof of what happened." Besides the point that the customer is always right, I'll digress for the monent and state"the proof" as I did in the store. All of the bottles are supposed to be closed TIGHT because there ia a child safety cap on it. Both bottles were essentially open [no clicking sound when you try and open it normally] and both bottles leaked and I only wanted one replaced. This was after I had to clean my car and driveway of this soupy mess.... He has sold me bowl pieces that are literally the circumference of a hair down the tube... "they work great, man. I know, I sell all the time. Same people always come back for same one." Because they can't get the previous bowl piece to work... Not to mention the fact that, he will choose helping new customers over customers he knows. I've seen him make people wait, like myself to help a couple of people who could tell what day it was let alone what store they were in and, we're obviously stealing from him. What did he do? Ignore me completely and LET ME WALK OUT OF THE STORE WITHOUT PURCHASING ABOUT 40$ WORTH OF CLEANER THAT I WAS READY TO BUY IMMEDIATELY. One thing is clear about the reviews left for this guy. They are all personal friends who did him a favor because everyone I've spoken too has told me I was an IDIOT for trying to give this small business a chance with my money and time. I am pleased to say that I had a very nice experience at smoke zone. Purchased a extractor the previous day and while in the process of extracting (filling extractor with butane) the glass cracked right on the spot. I went to smoke zone the following day with the cleaned cracked piece and was very impressed with the customer service when I received a brand new extractor blown in a more expensive fashion. Although I received a faulty piece, I am very happy that the manager at smoke zone is good at handling customer service, good business. read more
