Wow! What an amazing place! Hany(or Henry) is the coolest guy ever and we just became pretty good friends. He gives such awesome hook-ups and great deals. Very generous. This isn't the only smoke shop I've Been to in Pacific Beach but It is hands down my favorites one- stop shop for everything you'd need or want. I love going in there and the guy always helps me find whatever I need (and shows me other things too). I lived in PB with my now husband 2011-2012 this place is right across the alley and easily accessible if you walk or drive. Their personal parking lot sucks but that's not on them it's on the property manager/land owner (developer). There is a HUGE parking lot across the street you can use if you can fathom the idea of walking "that far" (think you got a far spot at your grocery store). The service has never been horrible to me. If you give the effort and respect they are due as a human being instead of your servant you have great service back (even if you're a dick and not an over the top douchebag you'll be treated with respect. Pricing is a little steep but its because of the prices they are charged by their vendors. That's how ANYTHING that's for sale ANYWHERE is priced. They're a business, they need to make a profit. Best and most personable smoke shop I've ever frequented with TONS of variety. The golden rule of life (treat others the way you wish to be treated [for those who didn't know]) is in effect beautifully. I'm glad there is a business out there that has enough self respect to value it and enforce and sometimes demand the same in return. Don't like your service? Simple.. Don't go back. It's about time a smoke shop stepped up and has exceeded the realm of customer service and getting to actually know and remember their customers versus being just another face. I'll never buy smokes somewhere else unless it's their after hours. My ONLY complaint is they don't take manufacturers coupons and I'm not crying about it or taking away stars from one of the BEST smoke shops I've ever done business with. I can promise, now that we are back, we've upkept the relationship of customer/provider. While we were gone they even became excited when we'd visit before we moved back. I'm posting my review on both their locations because they're both amazing!! An old friend of mine turned me to smoke zone a couple years ago, and they are by far my favorite little smoke shop! Henry is the best and will always give you the best price he can! He is always interested in helping make your time there worth it! Louie is great too! And Sal fixed my leaky vape pen! I wasn't smart and broke my coil when I was cleaning it and he noticed I was missing a grommet and replaced it no problem! I will say Henry fixed my vape too! Cause it was stuck to where I wasn't able to get all of the components apart. Henry tricked me into thinking he wasn't strong enough and handed it to me to try and loosen it. Silly me, I grabbed it and it came off with ease!! They are really good at finding the piece in your price range! I broke my water pipe and went there right away and found an amazing replacement! There's a lot of smoke shops down Garnet but smoke zone should be the only one you stop at. I've been going here for 5 years now to get all my smoking essentials and every time I go they make sure I leave with exactly what I was looking for probably even more. Henry especially, genuinely a great dude and an awesome salesman on top of that, every time I'm in there he take excellent care of me. Broke a pricey piece about a week after I bought it and Henry being the nice guy he is gave me a huge discount on a replacement. Even though all the big name smoke shops with the best brand names glass are right down the street is rather stop by smoke zone, great prices on amazing glass and great customer service. 500 stars! read more

I do not know what happened to this store. They've had an awesome employee but now they've replaced him with an employee that cannot deal with customers. I am not making this up, every time I walk into this place there is always an argument due to the customer being RIPPED OFF. The employee is pushy and does not give a crap what you have to say, he just tells you "this is the best" or "you need this". This place is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED, Nakhla Double Apple is 15.50 compared to 10.99 at other locations. I've asked why is it so much more expensive and he proceeds to give me the card and says "Alright man", no bye or nothing. Oh, HORRIBLE PARKING. If you manage to find a parking spot then you have a high chance of your car being scuffed or scratched due to the small space. NEVER AGAIN I will ever enter this store, there is plenty of better shops around. The only reason I did before was only because the previous employee has great. read more

Horrible customer service!!!! The owner is an asshole and a liar. I had an issue and asked to speak with the manager/owner. The employee said the owner would be at the shop in 15 mins so I waited. When he showed up he lied and told me he was a new employee and couldn't handle my issue. I came back to the store a week later to try to deal with the issue once more and the same "employees" I had spoke to before were there, one being the owner. The guy confessed he was the owner but still was unwilling to assist me with the issue. He was extremely rude and was yelling at me with other customers in the store. The issue was handled, but I didn't get the service or resolution I wanted. The whole store is over priced and they rip you off. It's a waste of time and money. You are better off going to the PB pipe n tobacco store down the street across from the good will and pb cantina. They are much more worth the time and money and everything is reasonably priced. read more

Went here to buy some hookah. All I can say is I was in for a surprise. The guy here had good prices, he was very nice and threw in some free stuff. I definitely got hooked up. What a waste of money, finally had enough money for my birthday to get the rig I wanted and 24 hours later breaks, I didn't even drop it but the nail was to heavy for the stem, I noticed it was chipped when I got home. So After the stem just falls off without even touching the piece, I decide to go back to the shop and see if I can get a good price. I was wrong to try, It didn't matter I spent $60 the other day he couldn't take $10 of the piece I wanted. Rather go to a chill spot. And when black customers leave I heard him say racist things in the past, I wonder what he says about me when I leave. read more
