The other kind of place is the Asian restaurant category. Some diners want American English and American wait service and rate low, while others are looking for good authentic ethnic specific cuisine with culturally specific appropriate customary service and rate high resulting in the best place for me having a three star average. Marijuana dispensaries are like this, the Goldilocks three star average comes from lots of disgruntled stoners being upset for the sorts of reasons stoners get upset about, and anyone who has spent too much time with stoners like my brother or with my brother himself, will readily identify. My brother recently got mad at me for texting him while he was busy being stoned. At the same dispensaries some more casual users give five star reviews because they get such a thrill out of the occasional ganja high that the appreciate the opportunity and the combined result is the attractive three star average. Yes, I could have just said, "quick and friendly service" but Emily already wrote that, and the service was indeed friendly (even security) but it wasn't quick because one of those stoned problem children was in front of me in line at every cashier position. By the way, for those of you who are new to this, 15% is a fair tip. Fifteen percent plus the store profit margin is still less than pre-legalization dealer markup for this level of quality.

I saw plenty of things I'd like for myself but was on a holiday gift mission so trying to stay focused, but that was tough at this store. Temptation abounded! I really want to come back for some of the workshops. The proprietor showed me some really pretty shell dishes she made and I'd like to try that myself. She was efficient and friendly and provided a special wrapping for the soap I purchased. I also got a great deal. She explained,it's a receipt coupon, for February - $5 off $15- which prints on your receipt for your next purchase. I used my coupon the same day and another coupon printed out on that receipt. How great is that? I'll definitely be back, probably later this month!
