I came to Smokes to try some of their poutine. I've had plenty of poutine in my life and really enjoy eating this dish. And when in Rome, you have to obviously try Poutine. The guy at the counter had a smile and was very friendly. We came here for lunch and we each got our own. I want to say we got the medium size poutine and it was definitely too much for each to finish on our own. We should have shared or gotten the smaller version. I ordered their pulled pork, my son ordered their jerk chicken, and my wife ordered one with bacon. They were all ok but extremely salty. I love pulled pork? But prefer it to be served with no sauce. This stuff was drenched in sauce to it takes away from the pulled pork. My son's jerk chicken was also very wet and would have preferred it to be served with chicken only with the jerk spices, but should be served wet. Way too salty and I'm not sure I'd return on my next visit.

Ok so I was in town for work had a group dinner but after had the hankering for some poutine fries and this was the nearest thing open that's close to where I was... the service was quick fast and no frills to the point... wish I had ordered a large poutine fries lol I finished that thing... for first experience of poutine fries in Canada where it's originated and not have some faked stuff back home this was awesome... it was a shorts wait and the fries were not mushy... not sure how they did it because it was drenched with gravy and topped with poutine cheese chunks... soooo good . Person behind the counter take our order was friendly do fast food and got us what we needed and was respectful. There was some good music playing in the back ground which helped to keep the time flying by. I'll be back... need more of this.

I mean they have a lot of poutine options. I've never had poutine so I thought I'd give it a shot. I just can't say this is something I'm gonna have again. Maybe if it was cold outside or I was on the slopes but I can confidently say this won't be in the rotation. This was a nice clean location. I'm just not a fan of poutine and a restaurant dedicated to it was not up my Alley!

If you want to experience the worst possible poutine, please come here. We were likely one of two customers there, already a red flag but we were convinced to try this popular chain. The poutine was barely warm, fries that might have been sitting around for quite some time, average gravy, and just meh cheese curls. Possibly the worst poutine in Toronto, you've been warned. The service is lackluster. The atmosphere felt dingy.

We needed to try some poutine when in Canada, and we couldn't decide on which flavor. We went with the butter cauliflower to stay on the lighter side. The cauliflower was fried and the best part, but the sauce was just too much. We couldn't finish the small size because it was too saucy and salty overall with no real flavor.

Had to have poutine while I was in Canada. I got the pulled pork poutine, and it came out relatively fast. Maybe it's just poutine in general, but I don't like how the enormous amount of gravy makes the entirety of the fries soggy. Maybe I should ask for gravy on the side. The cheese didn't really melt either. The pulled pork was okay. There was a lot, but it wasn't tender.

Not friendly staff No working bathroom available for paying customers Most of the items were not available Bad hidden location that smelled like urine Food was good but only had 3 pieces of cheese curds in it? Would not return to this location

All my kids want is just poutine. We have no decent one in Chicago. So this place is like our staple place every time we go to Canada. I honestly like the poutine. I do, however, wish that the fries are slightly crisper because the gravy makes it slightly soggy if it's not crispy. Every time we're in Canada, we always get the bacon cheeseburger and the popcorn chicken poutines. I'm writing this review today because the guy who is working at the place is super nice. He gave my kids stickers, which other locations don't even care about. The only thing about this place is the parking. Parking is seriously hard. Maybe because we're not from around here, so we don't really know where the easy spot is.

I went here on a Friday at 11:43am for breakfast before heading on my Zoom tour towards Niagara Falls. I mainly just wanted to try some good poutine and eat a quick meal before doing my activities that day. Anyways, there was no wait at the time I arrived and all the tables inside were still empty. I got the Avalanche poutine which is basically a poutine with chipotle pulled pork, grilled chicken, double-smoked bacon, and creamy ranch dressing, and cheese curds. They put a lot of toppings on their poutine here and I was happy about that, but I wish the fries were a bit crispier. I'd recommend this place! This restaurant has a lot of cute wall decorations. The poutine here is good and service is quick! They also make your poutine once you're order it, so you know it's fresh! I do wish the fries were more crispy though.

Glad I'm giving poutine another try. We went with a regular sized Traditional, which came with hot gravy and cheese curds. Delicious!!! The fries are still crunchy (ya kinda have to dive right in!!!). The gravy is slightly more salty for my taste, but my hubby and daughter did not mind! A must-try when in Toronto

I used to love this place but feel that they have taken a step down in quality as of recent. The gravy was watery and definitely weak on the number of cheese curds in my poutine. On the positive - I will say they didn't skimp on the bacon. There was a heaping pile on top and it was fresh and enjoyable. Do enjoy the classic rock buzzing in the dining room as well.

Wanted some poutine while visiting & Smoke's was the only thing open & nearby on a Sunday night. It's a fast food joint, and was empty when I arrived. I got a small size traditional poutine with bacon on it. The regular sizes were quite big for one person and I wish they had something smaller or a kids size. Still came with a lot of food, tasted good and was super filling.

Small interior with low AC was the worst part. We tried both traditional and pulled pork. Pulled pork is definitely way better!!! Both were good though. If this is your first poutine, definitely get both

The reason they have "express" in their store name is that the food is usually ready within 2 mins. During busy times, you have to wait until they get to your order. There is a little window where they place food that is ready, and a server brings them to your table (if you are dining in). We ordered the following: A1: Spring Roll 4 pcs ($11.99). A2: Shrimp Fresh Roll 4 pcs ($11.99). M1: Assorted Thap Cam Banh Mi ($8.99). P1: Special Beef Noodle Soup/Pho ($17.99). C2: Grilled Chicken and Fried Egg on Broken Rice ($15.99). This restaurant chain introduced the "Chinese Hamburger" in a crispy bun to Toronto back in 2021-05-23 (soft opening). Very tasty indeed! Plus, they have a wide variety of appetizers. The two owners are from China. The brand was founded in Beijing on 2014-04-08 and now has over 65 locations in Beijing. The Chinese Hamburger is called Rou Jia Mo (肉夹馍) in Chinese, which literally translates to "meat in a bun". It is the cuisine of China's Shaanxi province, which has the capital city of Xi'An (or Xian), where you find the terracotta warriors. For Chinese hamburgers, there are two types of buns: crispy and non-crispy. Most restaurants use the non-crispy buns but Bingz is the only restaurant in the GTA that uses the baked crispy buns.
