I'll start with the room, we had two beds in a "kitchenette." The heater didn't work so there was a space heater and the power kept going out when we used the hair dryer on the wall. We were quoted $405 for the week, Snohomish County Veterans Assistance gave us a voucher for $500 and said to get an extra night or two. The online daily rate for our room is $69.99 but somehow when we went to check out, one extra night cost $95.00. They make up their own rules and nothing is posted anywhere. This place sucks!

I explained that last time i had a Temp license plate and that now i have normal ones,. He scared me with his tone of voice and I even told him that he was making me nervous I ended up staying anyway he said that he was going to check with the woman that checked me in the hotel that it was a reputable Hotel and that I would be okay I guess in his words to say tonight and that's it and that I must move on. I have looked everywhere and it does not say what type of vehicle it does say on the sign RV parking spots but I just figured that maybe that was a formality and then why would the woman check me in same woman that checked me in the first time right after I got the truck this is my second time staying and I had no idea that there would be a problem with a security guard that was trying to take the law into his own hands he later said that he was just the security and that he was just making sure that there was no funny business going on but if the hotel office said that I could be there then he guesses that I could be there with an attitude he was throwing attitudes left and right the first night that I stayed there they're actually was a few cars and a couple of trucks so now in hindsight I'm thinking that maybe he was just on a power trip and yes if the hotel sees this I really hope that you reach out to me and have a good Stern talking to Charles I understand that he was doing his job but belittling me as if he was an officer of the law that is the exact attitude that he had and flashing his flashlight right in my eyes like I said I had just checked in and I was just setting everything up as one does and he was on me like white on rice!. I figured i would have a good night but THAT DID NOT HAPPEN,

Cheap gas ( get a player's card first) Used to come here and spend a few hours and a few hundred. Now it's a place to come if you have a fistful of dollars (hundreds) you want to get rid of. Expect nothing. No returns on your money, I guess the pool construction is going over cost. We have been playing here for years, and used to get rooms comped. Basically no comps offered no matter what you spend. We plan to take the train from LA to Biloxi Mississippi where we are comped rooms, buffets. Play responsibly. Just not here imo.

Wyndham Gardens Arlington is now the Hotel Arlington. It is now an INDEPENDENT hotel with new…read moreowners and management. FORGET the old reviews, under the new owners this is a quiet gem tucked away in an unlikely spot - next to a storage rental place, but that is a plus - it is off the busy road and nice and quiet. The Arlington is beautiful. Unlike similarly-priced hotels like the Hilton Express (and the super-crappy LaQuinta) in Marysville, this a luxurious, gorgeous hotel, with dark wood paneling and brass fittings, a beautiful entry in the middle of two water feature coy ponds, a relaxing and well-decorated lounge, and really good management, under General Manager, Lema. Use your GPS to find the turn - if you pass a storage unit business you just missed it. It is part of a larger building with offices first, keep going about 50 feet and you will be in the drop off area. We good a King bed corner room, and the first thing that made me happy -well, the second, because the first was true concierge check-in by Lema) were the TWO marble-topped vanities, both with hair dryers! One in the room, and one in the roomy bathroom. Well lit, and no fighting for a mirror when you are getting ready to go to an event, like a concert at Tulalip. (BTW there is a shuttle to the casino and back, up to 2 a.m.) The squeaky-clean room had all the amenities - A modern Visio TV screen, an upholstered chair to relax in with a standing linen lamp to read and relax by, a desk (marble top) and a dresser (I hate not having a dresser, even for an overnight stay) a mini fridge and easy to use coffee maker/water heater. The creamy taupe shades made a lovely ambient light, the bed was comfy, with plenty of pillows and extra bedding in a drawer; closet had a double mirror, ironing board and iron, and the hotel soaps were nice. Everything in the room worked. Plenty of water pressure, the switches and plug-ins, the remote, and heating and cooling. That seems like it should be a given, but so many badly run hotels do so poorly checking these things. I should note that we did not have a reservation, so they didn't check it last-minute, it was ready. I DO recommend reservations though, this sweetheart hotel won't be a secret long. The pool was open and clean, with a whirlpool next to it. Not huge, but not crowded with clean dressing rooms and towels. I went down in the morning and splashed around with some kids that were there with their folks, which was fun. The exercise room was not elaborate, but again clean and the machines worked. The breakfast fare was pretty standard but plenty of choices - coffee, tea, pastrys, fruit, four kinds of cereal, yogurt... The hot breakfast offered scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage -all well cooked and warm little pancakes and syrup...I don't remember everything except that the woman running it was as nice and accomodating as she could be, and kept things stocked. If you are going to Marysville and want a way nicer than standard cookie cutter hotel experience, this is the place. Note: Don't mix it up with the Arlington Motel, and you might find old reviews under Wyndam Gardens. Ignore those. But don't tell everybody - you will want a room available if you decide on a last minute night out at the Casino. BTW the restaurant is not open, and probably won't be, which is fine. It is hard to keep a restaurant going, but you may see old reviews that talk about it. It helps keep the rooms affordable.

Their new status as a private company has led the former Wyndham gardens to scale back on some of its amenities (restaurant & lounge), but this is not an issue in an area where restaurants and retail are plentiful. This place exceed my expectations on the things that matter, like the personnel being personable and an absolutely delicious breakfast. What a great place!! Beautiful! Clean! Pool and hot tub!!!!! Even the soap is good here....that never happens!!! I am blown away by the value and enjoyment of our stay at Hotel Arlington. Bring your own hair dryer

I wouldn't recommend this place to house the homeless let alone sleep here. Absolutely terrible business ethics. I wasn't disturbed at all (and I work all hours of the day) and yet they were available and kind enough to provide me with a clean room, clean towels, etc. when requested and that too with a smile. I don't know anyone here, as I am from out of country, but I felt very safe being a female. The room has a mini fridge, heater, microwave, tv with cable, wifi, free parking, hot water for showers and a very comfortable bed. A special thank you to Harman (at the front desk) who arranged for me to keep my room and accommodated my hectic schedule. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
