    Pepperoni Pizza

Honestly, not bad. I just moved here from Chicago and have found it incredibly difficult to find some decent pizza. Wood-fired is definitely my favorite and a number of years ago I tried a different smokin' oak location in GJ I believe and never wanted to try this place again due to it being soggy and having my cheese and toppings slide right off. Decided to give this location a try, and I was glad I did. Got it well done as I feel a lot of times the pizza will be soggy but this one was not! Crust was delicious as well. Would like to see more variations of pizza though, I had a good pie with sweet fig jam, prosciutto, mozzarella, and creamy mascarpone. Would love a variation like that!

Slow service and rude employees. Food is average. Go to a different pizza place. Papa John's would be better and better quality

Lucky for me, looking for a brunch spot before wine tasting tour of the area, we found Clark & Co's Distillery. One of the first images that came up, when looking it up was their Bloody Mary, and we were sold! Came in as they were opening so got our pick of where to sit. They have table, and a long bar-style area looking the water. That's where we decided to sit. Peaceful view, distillery dog welcoming everyone that came in, loved it! Put in our order, we decided to share it as, it looked like a full meal, and glad we did. It came with the most delicious roasted peppers I've had in a while (could have eaten more of those), beef sliders, mac n cheese bites, olives, bacon, and okra. The Bloody Mary was really good too, spicy enough to give you that kick, and salty as it should be. And the faces of everyone seeing it come out, plus the pictures we were able to take of it were just the best. I can check that off my list of "To Dos" now and recommend everyone giving it a try. As we thought we got full with that, but looking at other people's food, everything looked great. One done, we went inside and looked at some merch, plus got to buy some of their distillery gin, and take some pictures with their beautiful peach blossoms. Great place to relax, and enjoy good food and drinks with friendly service, and a friendly (host) dog.

If you're over in the Palisade area, this is definitely worth a stop…read more I've made the drive to Palisade for Fidel's Cocina & Bar a couple times now, and honestly... it has not disappointed The chips & guac are some of the best around, and the DIP TRIO is a great starter -- black bean hummus, toasted pepita dip, guacamole, and house tortilla chips. Of course I had to add salsa, because... obviously Patti went with the Huevos Rancheros and really liked it Tyler tried the Chile Relleno and said it was the best one he's had in forever -- bold statement, but he's sticking to it. I've had the Chile Relleno too, and I get it. Fresh poblano, Oaxacan cheese, refried black beans, sour cream, pickled onion, cilantro, cotija... just yummy. I also tried the Oaxacan taco and carne asada taco, and both were absolutely on point -- juicy, flavor-packed, and straight-up And yes, Dad's jalapeño sauces are a must. The green and red both add that perfect little kick And a big win--they've got a great selection of gluten-free options (clearly marked), so it's easy to navigate if that matters to you And since it's a Mexican restaurant, I had to partake in a margarita I went with the Pinky -- Dulce Vida Grapefruit Tequila, Naranja, fresh lime juice, and fresh grapefruit juice. Very tasty. Big shoutout to Sasha at the bar super knowledgeable, great vibes, and clearly a fellow GJ foodie with great recommendations. Service has been great all around both times. Solid food, great date night spot, and worth the drive. Just my opinion... don't come at me

I was skeptical when I reviewed the…read morewebsite as it looked like a more 'artsy' type of restaurant than I usually enjoy, but my wife said she enjoyed the last time she went here, so we decided to go. Here's where things went downhill. On Friday, I tried to make reservations for 2 for Saturday evening, but what it told me was that the restaurant was not booking any more reservations for 2 diners on Saturday (I checked all three of the options - dining room, bar, or 'kitchen). I kept checking back with no luck. So we selected another restaurant ahead of time, but decided to drop in and see if there were any spots open. To our surprise, the entire bar was open, as well as at least 3-4 tables in the dining room. We got seated at the bar. This may not seem like a problem, but throughout our entire meal, there remained 2 seats at the bar that never were filled as well as 3-4 tables. Either the restaurant reserves more seats for larger parties, or they're trying to game the system by making people THINK it's so popular that it's amazingly good. Either way, I was not pleased by the reservation process. Service was ok (a little hit-or-miss on speed), as was the atomosphere (a little loud). On the plus side, the food was actually pretty good. I personally think it's overhyped (I had the ribeye and my wife had the duck). Both were flavorful and well cooked, but we were a little underwhelmed given that we had an outstanding meal the night before at a different restaurant. After dining at Peche, we had actually wished that we had gone elsewhere given the cost per person. That being said, as I mentioned, this place was highly recommended by a number of people and I will say it has a very unique atmosphere as well as good food. Will we dine here again? No. But we were happy that we tried it. (Hence my overall rating).
