I got my usual the Bacon Wedge Salad, my husband got his favorite the "bbq pork sandwich" and his dad got the "meatloaf". All of the food was cooked perfectly and delicious. NOT TO MENTION OUR WAITER LUKE! He sold himself as one of the best servers we have had since moving here over 5 plus years ago. We've eaten here maybe twenty times and lately the food has gotten more mediocre at best. Granted it's just a bar but the past it's been better. The last meal both my wife and I opted for a simple burger. They arrived at what I would say was barely room temperature. We came here for a wedding rehearsal and had a great time, but many things could be improved. We had one server for the entire party and it was not enough. He was great but the tables stayed dirty and the drinks took some time (which is understandable). We had asked for someone to help him out and they all said "sure" but no one ever came over. We then went to the bar to get drinks and were told that we couldn't be there. In terms of the wedding party dinner-- the tables were all spread apart (some just sitting 2 people) and it wasn't great or expected in terms of being able to socialize or for speeches. I want to start by saying the service was not terrible at all. My waiter was actually very kind and patient, especially with me being indecisive about what to order. They took good care of us. Now for the most important part--the food. I genuinely wish I had spent my $60 at McDonald's instead, because this meal was not worth the price. I ordered the fish tacos and was disappointed the second I took a bite. The cod was completely dry, lacked any flavor, and honestly didn't even taste seasoned. The avocado on top added nothing, the cabbage was cold, and the whole dish itself came out cold even though it should've been fresh from the fryer. The chips and queso ended up being the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and he described it as cold, soggy, and way too sweet. He did enjoy his beer, and I liked my drink too, but that alone isn't enough for us to return. I was very pleasantly surprised with our experience at Ale House on Saturday night. We pulled up to a full parking lot and found a live band playing in the backyard. It was a beautiful evening and a great setting for live music. Unfortunately, it was too crowded to get table service at the time, but we found space at a high top in the bar. Our server, Autumn, was fantastic! She was super busy and running all over the place, but she made time to answer all our questions and help us make decisions on the food and beverages. Our food and beers were great! I had the avocado chicken sandwich and The Maharaja from Avery Brewing Co, which was the highlight of my night. I am not from Colorado and hadn't had the honor yet. Was in town on vacation and wanted a place to watch a football game. After reading other reviews on the food, I was hesitant but decided to try it since they had several TV's. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was great, we both had a chicken sandwich, two different kinds and they were both delicious! The service, amazing! Our waiter was very friendly and even though he was very busy took really good care of us. The reason I took off a star, lots of TV's, only show 1 game.
