    Penne Vodka with chicken

Ordered online, service was quick and polite. Pasta and sauce taste great! Can't say the same for the garlic bread, Italian Cobb salad, or chicken that was included with salad and ordered extra with the penne vodka.

    Spaghetti & Meatballs

They deserve so much more than 3.5 stars! I only stopped here for takeout, but the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! I got a classic spaghetti and meatball situation, and the meatballs were melt in your mouth delicious and the pasta was perfectly al dente. Complimentary garlic bread was also tasty, nice and soft too! If I lived in town I would definitely come here again :)!

    Bread and butter

Sometimes, that good, carb-heavy Italian is just what you need, and Citrola's delivers. The restaurant is warmly decorated in classic "Italian" styling in a way that speaks of attention to detail but not anything too fancy. The dim lighting and Italian music complete the ambience. When our waiter brought out the bread, it wasn't just butter-drizzled. On, no! The soft, warm slices rested in a puddle of melted butter, and I can attest that it was a delicious experience to mop up that butter with that bread. One of my go-tos is chicken picatta, that this one is delicious. The sauce serves up a nice tang as well as depth--it's not too intense a flavor, nor is it too light. And, finally, the dessert. They offer several versions of cream pies, but we had to try one slice of the chocolate-flavored one. It was a large slice, with tall meringue resting atop a richly chocolatey base. And we took home the leftovers, which reheated nicely for lunch the following day. :)

Though restaurant was not busy, the length of time from ordering to receiving the food was long(30+minutes). Food was average at best.

They had plenty of outside area (a patio with seating and some open space where you can enjoy a drink while waiting to find a seat somewhere) which was perfect for me because I got a cocktail and Togo food. Lots of people had raved about the Massaman katsu curry so I had to try it! It did not disappoint! At first I was disappointed to see how full the bowl was but the amount was PLENTY! I was stuffed after a few corn and about half the curry plate. I am so happy I tried this place out! Will definitely be trying it again when I'm back in town!

I also really appreciated that they had hard kombucha on tap, which was a unique and welcome option for me. I spent most of my time out on the outdoor patio, which is very nice and was filled with lots of people hanging out, making for a really lively and fun environment. However, my biggest complaint about this place was that the food was pretty bad; while I understand that it's primarily just a brewery, I was still quite disappointed by the quality, especially since the menu items were not cheap. Come for the beers, skip the food and same yourself some dough figuratively and literally.

Service was sparse. I sat at the bar. Sat there 6-8 minutes before the blonde person at the bar said hi. I had to wait another couple of minutes since she was talking to a guy behind the bar and a couple other people sitting at the bar. It sounded like friends, not customers. Eventually, another bartender came on named Bailey. She was service oriented and took my order. She knew I was ready and I think she understood. I was waiting a good 15 minutes before she got on the clock. It's funny how things work out. Bailey took my order of two hotdog, mustard and onions, and almost immediately the blonde bartender, I think her name is Taryn put dirty plates right in front of me. The dirty plates sat there a few minutes and when Bailey brought the dogs out she took away the plates for my request and apologized. When I asked Bailey for the bill, I was surprised to find a charges of $.50 for mustard and $1.00 for onions. I truly love a good hot dog and these were pretty good. I wish they were grilled, but I came to found out this establishment steams their dogs and they are a grill less & greaseless. Very green and I respect that. But a dog deserves a grill. I give Bailey five stars for service. The other person named Tyron, one star.

This restaurant is a couple of minutes off the interstate. Decor is basic but clean. Restrooms were clean. Restaurant employees were pleasant and attentive. While you eat off of paper plates, the food itself is delicious. We had to try the jalapeño cheese bread and it couldn't have been better. A little thicker crust on that (compared to thinner on pizza) with what tasted like olive oil on the crust, Italian seasoning and lots of gooey cheese. Thinly sliced jalapeños gave it great taste with just a hint of spice. The pepperoni pizza was flavorful with the crust having a good chew. Side house salad was surprisingly impressive with a fresh spinach base and fresh toppings.

When he pulled up to PizzAmore, I thought he'd lost his mind. However! He'd learned that they do have some vegan cheese available. Since I dearly like breathing, and my lungs do not appreciate cheese or dairy products, this was quite a lovely surprise. Don't get me wrong, I do not love most vegan cheeses at all. But to find a pizza place that was inclusive for my dietary needs? That was amazing and worth an additional star just for that. For weeks of our RV journey, I've been craving a Hawaiian pizza. But I didn't have any kind of a good vegan mozzarella. so finding a restaurant with the palatable, vegan mozzarella, was a lovely surprise. The pizza itself was quite tasty. It was very well cooked, and even the crust had a good flavor. Our total for 2 personal pizzas and two drinks was $38 if I remember correctly. However, my husband did not love his veggie pizza. We both expected it to have a lot more vegetables on it. At the time that we were leaving the young man serving was making a veggie pizza that had a lot of veggies! So I think maybe we ordered incorrectly. Before leaving, I did talk to the owner about buying really excellent vegan cheese from rebelcheese.com. They just came out with their mozzarella, and I ordered two as they came with other cheeses, and I am so happy! It taste like real mozzarella! Unfortunately, they don't make the same cheese consistently. They have quite the rotation. But the PizzAmore pizza with that would be mind blowingly delicious!! But I would absolutely go back to this family run business. Truly favorable pizza with vegan cheese, which was quite the surprise!

The menu has a fair amount of interesting options but knowing what I know now they probably sound more interesting than they taste. We grabbed the tuna melt & the turkey/hummus/avocado wrap. The former was, again, okay. I'm not entirely sure there was cheese on it and if there were it certainly wasn't giving "melt". The tuna itself I was happy to find there wasn't too much mayo, maybe the best part of the sandwich. And the filling was plentiful with a nicely toasted bread. The wrap felt like something I could've gotten in a rest stop for half the price and would not order again. We also grabbed potato salad which I would not advise doing again. The prices for the sandwiches are fine, but the prices for the drinks are astronomical. We ordered maybe ten minutes in advance and it was ready by the time we got there, which was nice because it seemed that the lunch rush had started and the one person behind the counter seemed a bit stressed by the influx of customers.

I could mention several criticisms of recent managerial decisions, but I'll just limit it to one. The "American Breakfast" has disappeared, replaced by an a la carte ordering model. I assume this reflects price creep and the reality that the market will not support a $20 counter-service breakfast (especially one that prompts for pre-tipping) when a comparable $12 option is available across the street at a full-service restaurant. Combined with long wait times and lukewarm food, caused by either amateurs in the kitchen or lackadaisical food delivery by the counter-staff, Cafe Sol has regretfully moved to my "occasionally OK" list.
