I was craving for ice cream on a cold rainy day and my boyfriend took me here. We found parking directly in front of the entrance. At first, I thought it was closed but they were open. There were no customers so we didn't have to wait long to order. I was debating on trying the matcha ice cream but I ended up choosing the cannoli ice cream with the English toffee topping. I was amazed on how they prepared the ice cream. I wish I could post videos! Let's just say that I've never seen so many working kitchen-aids under one roof. Not to mention the huge tank of nitrogen. The preparation was pretty cool -- it's just one of those, you have to be moments. Moving on to the ice cream -- it was delicious. You can taste the quality and the cannoli ice cream, really tasted like cannolis. So worth the visit. This ice cream spot just gained a new customer from California.

This is how she got it, she never took any out. Not even half a cup and what she did get was melted

Extremely disappointed! thought to give this place a shot, but we felt like we got ripped off. got an ice cream sandwich $8, thinking it was freshly made but the guy reach into the fridge and just handle it to me ( cookie already smashed up . Ur better off going just going to pride and grab one out the freezer for $4.50. But the reason we really felt ripped off is she got a small strawberry, after waiting for 10, we saw the young kid take the MELTED cream from the blender and pour it into the small cup and give it her, it didn't even fill half the small container. When I got in the truck & saw it felt we got screwed. look at the pic, she never took any. U can see it's melted and barely anything in it. she saw the kid pour half on the floor. I was so mad she wouldn't let me go in there and talk to the manager.

Went to Smokin' Scoops for the first time and had no idea what I was walking in to. All I can say is wow! The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting, staff is very personable. And the ice cream is fantastic. They mix it right in front of you and then they put them in these little metal chimneys and add the liquid nitrogen...and that's when the fun begins. If you haven't been, definitely give it a try. One note I will add is that the bubble cone only fits one scoop and if you are getting your order to go don't have the ice cream put in the bubble cone. It will melt.

This is supposed to be a peanut butter cup chocolate milkshake.

It pains me to write this review because I absolutely love supporting small businesses and do so every chance I get. However today I was really disappointed. My boyfriend and I made a stop to the shop because of some amazing photos of ice cream we saw online. We live in CT but decided to make the trip over because we enjoyed the concept and that's the only reason for the additional star. Upon arrival the shop was completely empty. However that didn't mean anything because it took us several minutes to even be acknowledged after walking in. We are then informed that they are out of crepes, waffle bowls, and sugar cones. It's an ice cream shop? So we decided on milkshakes. Well I attached a picture of what I supposedly ordered and what I received. Reminder it was not busy. This may have been the grossest milkshake I've ever had. It tasted like frozen milk and you could not decipher what flavor it was what so ever. Staff clearly did not want to be there and we will sadly say this will be our first and last trip.

Nitrogen poured into the mix. Cool cloud!

The icecream was incredibly creamy and the scoops are fairly big. This is our second visit and their icecream and service is consistently good. Our first visit weirdly enough was not for icecream but for drinks at the bar only. They have a full bar with a small but good selection of beers. Nice concept with lots of potential at this place.

It's good, I forgot what I got but it gives me the same vibes as milkcraft in Hartford, CT, but at a step down. Prices are kind of outrageous for the portion. Menu is limited, but not too bad. I don't know if I would come back here again. I'm all about the vibe and I just wasn't having it here. Ice cream was good though!

Ice cream was delicious and amazing to watch being prepared, but, just WAY too pricey for my purse.

All the flavors are delicious and the way they make the ice cream with the nitrogen is very cool, would highly recommend

The car next to us had a husky dog in it with all the windows closed, it's 70 outside and the poor dog was panting! We went to go into the ice cream shop, they didn't open till 4, but I was so disgusted that someone would leave there dog trapped inside a car like that I knocked on the window to ask if they know who's car/dog it was and the kid came out and said it was his...I nicely said umm it's 70 degrees outside and you have a dog locked in the car with no windows down, that's not ok. He looked at me like I was the crazy one. He did put one window down a little bit as we left. I am so outraged that I'll never go back again to a place that allows dogs to cook inside cars! I hope in writing this that someone knocks some sense into that employee because next time I'll be calling the cops. Come on doesn't everyone know you do NOT leave a dog or any animal in a car for long periods of time! Another thing was he just got to work and will be working for a few hours...what's the dog gonna just suffocate inside while he hands out ice cream to everyone who has to walk past that car. I did not expect him to say it was his, i was hoping it was someone from another store that was coming and going but it wasn't. I still can't believe people abuse dogs the way they do...unacceptable. I am will to change this review if something gets done about this issue, I was looking forward to a new ice cream spot but if I do ever go back an see that dog in the car again I'll just call the cops next time.

"Well she gets colder every time I try to hold her…read morecrazy 'bout a north side gal" (Allison Krauss) Northside Creamery not only makes homemade ice cream in Westfield, MA, but I'm here to tell ya that the homemade ice cream they make in Westfield, MA is FANTASTIC. Rich, creamy, smooth, full of flavors, pretty much perfect. And their pricing is pretty good -two small dishes (peanut banana and Mexican chocolate) were just $4.50 each. And of course, a "small" dish is far from small, they were close to two scoops each. I really enjoyed the Mexican Chocolate. It had a "spicy" warning on it, which was merited because the ice cream had a slight cayenne after bite to it that was a great combination with the icy cold chocolate and cinnamon tastes. Northside has a very large flavor menu with close to 40 regular flavors, ten seasonal flavors, eight soft serves, shakes, floats, coolers, sundaes, and more, even a doggie dish. They have a nice seating area with picnic tables and benches, and a few photo ops for the little darlings in your party. The only drawback was their small parking lot where an inconsiderate clod thought his desire for ice cream outweighed my ability to back out of my parking spot. He could have parked right next door where a neighboring business was closed on Sunday and walked over, like half a dozen other customers did. PRO TIP Be aware of their hours and relatively late opening time. Their Summer Hours: (7 days a week) are 2 PM - 9 PM
