I actually enjoyed this winery. Found it by accident while driving through Kansas. It was fall so…read moreit wasn't in the "pretty" season with green grape leaves, but you could see how beautiful it is when its grape season in the vineyards. I loved all the wonderful spacious seating as well as as the huge fireplace. On warm days there are also great outdoor seating. Loved that there was a variety of wine there to chose from. Service was great. The people there took their time to explain the different wine and ciders. And the food choices were awesome. They really need a bigger sign on the main road, but otherwise this was a great stop on our tour of Kansas.

Here for an event tonight and I absolutely LOVE this place! The views are fantastic. The swallows…read moreflying around are really cool. And because it's the summer of 2024, the cicadas were singing loudly in the trees. The building itself is very modern with spacious and inviting indoor seating as well as ample patio seating outdoors. There is a vast selection of wines, beers, and ciders on tap. I thoroughly (and by thoroughly I mean three bottles worth!) enjoyed the apple pie cider and bought a 4-pack to take with me back to Iowa. The service was outstanding as every server I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Prices are very reasonable. May have to stop in again before heading back home in a couple of days!

my guest and i are beyond disappointed at our experience here. pacing/timing of dinner was awful…read more it took 2 hours to get just the first 2 courses. service was terrible. our server wasn't attentive to us while i feel that he checked on the other guests more. i will say the girls refilling the water and setting the silverware were very great though. food was subpar. not worth the $88. we left hungry and got something else after. the food was bland or too salty, plating was inconsistent, and overall difficult to eat. not sure if i caught them on an off day but i will not be returning.

What a gem you have there in Wichita, KS! We were passing through town and what a fantastic joint…read morewe had found at the elderslie farm restaurant. Everything was exceptional. Started off with a wonderful fresh herbaceous salad with crisp asparagus and a lively house made vinegar dressing. Although the menu described it as a soup, we were still very happy with what this course and we enjoyed it immensely. The homemade bread was beautifully crafted and had subtle Indian spiced tones. It was warm and fresh. The second course was 3 perfectly cooked scallops on a bed of heavenly mushrooms and oats with a light mushroom sauce. 10/10! I could eat that everyday and it would not become tiresome! For the entree, I had the short ribs, which were melt in your mouth delicious. Meanwhile husband enjoyed the beautifully prepared pork belly. Deserts were not a let down at all. Notably the Carmel sauce and rich chocolate torte was perfectly balanced. We did enjoy the wine pairings, although did wonder why the establishment would choose to serve a heavy red with the scallop course. However it did seem to work in some degree. Points of refinement: I wish the server was more educated on the wines we were served. For example she could only tell us it's a great Cabernet. And when probed for more information, she was not prepared to explain more. Additionally a more detailed explanation about the courses, the ingredients, and the preparation would have been so appreciated. And wrapping up leftovers as a service should be customary. Small points of refinement would elevate the dining experience. The restaurant is warm and welcoming with an abundance of natural light. The decor is beautiful and inviting. The farmhouse factor definitely screams fresh. I hope the chef continues on their journey as this was an unexpected experience not soon to be forgotten. It really was a 5 star meal and i look forward to returning here should I ever return to Wichita.
